A Little Reminder of the Left's Unhinged Hatred

With all the tales in the Old Media of the supposed violence committed by Tea Partiers going on since Obama's takeover of our nation's healthcare system, I thought it might be instructive to recall how hate-filled the unhinged left is in America today. A year ago, the good folks at Zomblog assembled a great series of photos showing the mental derangement exhibited by the human detritus at those once ubiquitous anti-war rallies that the distempered left hosted so often between the years 2003 and 2009… you know, those anti-war rallies that totally disappeared after Obama took office even as the wars rage on? Yeah, THOSE anti-war rallies.
In any case, if the left and the Old Media want to pretend that Tea Partiers are nothing but filled with hate, perhaps they should get a look at some of these photos? Of course, the fact is, none of this "violence" has been tracked to anyone in the Tea Party movement… but let's not let facts get in the way of the Old Media's good stories, eh?
As self-interested Congressmen try to fool the public into thinking that Tea Partiers yelled the "N" word at them, even as not one shred of proof exists that it ever happened, let's be reminded of what real hatred looks like…
Israel's President Says Merry Christmas (Obama Refuses)
Israeli President Shimon Peres sends his wishes "each of you and all of us a happy and merry Christmas." (Videos below.) That's nice of President Peres, really very nice. He delivered his 50-second greeting in a warm, sincere tone. Contrast that to Barack Hussein Obama, who gave a chilly 3-second "Happy holidays, best wishes for the new year" via Organizing For America, his puppet socialist propaganda machine. Why is it that the president of Israel has no problem wishing Christians a "merry Christmas," but the religiously non-descript, marxist Obama just can't force himself to utter that offensive phrase?

CAIR speaker to Muslims: OK to attack Fort Bragg
Lying for Islam
Barack Hussein Obama either cannot understand or refuses to acknowledge reality. Having attended a Muslim school as a child in Indonesia, it seems unfathomable that Obama is unaware that the Koran commands Muslims to terrorize and kill and in the name of Allah. For those of you who still do not believe that for millions of Muslims "jihad" includes killing, maiming, lying to and terrorizing non-Muslims, we share this with you from WorldNetDaily (emphasis added):
A Council on American-Islamic Relations adviser and regular speaker at its events has suggested Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes carrying the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, N.C., according to a stunning new book exposing Washington-based CAIR's inner workings. Radical Islamic cleric Zaid Shakir, a frequent guest speaker at CAIR events, tells his Muslim audiences: "Jihad is physically fighting the enemies of Islam to protect and advance the religion of Islam. A contrasting report from Islam Online, however, paints quite a different picture:
For Imam Zaid Shakir, a prominent imam at the Zaytuna Institute in California, the issue is crystal-clear in the Qur’an. "Killing innocent humans, the essence of terrorism, is equated with murdering all of humanity," he told IOL. It should be pointed out that the Koran also commands Muslims to lie to non-Muslims. It is called "al-taqiyya." "Al-Taqiyah, from the verb Ittaqu, means linguistically dodge the threat. Politically it means simulate whatever status you need in order to win the war against the enemy ..." (taken from a Muslim site; hat tip to "How to Discuss Islam with Muslims" blog).
There are Muslims who do not follow the Koran strictly, certainly, who therefore reject al-taqiyya, but the problem is knowing which Muslim may be lying to you or when. This is a factor not only on a daily, one-on-one basis, but in situations such as international diplomacy, as well. So, when we see a report such as the one about the radical Islamic cleric Zaid Shakir hinting that Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes at Fort Bragg, and then see a statement from Islam Online quoting the same cleric saying essentially the opposite, we have to scratch our heads and wonder: Which statement by Zais Shakir was the lie?
Al-taqiyya and dissimulation are words used for a practice of Muslims blatantly lying to non-Muslims. All but some of the most fundamental Muslims consider the act of Al-taqiyya or lying to non-Muslims to be a good work. This is very important when one remembers that, in Islam, salvation is determined by good works. This means that a Muslim lying to a non-Muslim is that Muslim doing a good work to earn salvation.... The so-called Mainstream Media regularly gets suckered by the practice of al-taqiyya. Many American politicians, including Barack Hussein Obama, buy into al-taqiyya too, without question, without critical thinking, without bothering to research.
Don't be like them. Do your research. Know the enemy.

Secession, anybody? Eleven of the United States have told Washington to keep their "stimulus" money. They've told Barack Obama to shove it where the sun does not shine. With these incredible developments, one cannot help wonder how many more states will wise up, and which of them will be the first to secede from the Union. This startling report from Human Events on Feb. 23 (emphasis added):
State governors -- looking down the gun barrel of long-term spending forced on them by the Obama “stimulus” plan -- are saying they will refuse to take the money. This is a Constitutional confrontation between the federal government and the states unlike any in our time.
In the first five weeks of his presidency, Barack Obama has acted so rashly that at least 11 states have decided that his brand of “hope” equates to an intolerable expansion of the federal government’s authority over the states. These states -- "Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California...Georgia," South Carolina, and Texas -- "have all introduced bills and resolutions" reminding Obama that the 10th Amendment protects the rights of the states, which are the rights of the people, by limting the power of the federal government. These resolutions call on Obama to “cease and desist” from his reckless government expansion and also indicate that federal laws and regulations implemented in violation of the 10th Amendment can be nullified by the states.
When the Constitution was being ratified during the 1780s, the 10th Amendment was understood to be the linchpin that held the entire Bill of Rights together. The amendment states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Obama, Media Lied About "Homeless" Woman
Say it ain't so. Barack Obama lied to us about something? No! It cannot be! It do be? Oh...
During Obama's campaign to promote his stimulus package, he staged an event with a woman, Henrietta Hughes, who, as it turns out, appears to be anything but truly needy. Henrietta was given an audience with Obama to beg for a home. When aid was provided via the offer of free rent by an opportunistic politician, the liberal press spouted that Henrietta was actually given a free home and implied it came from Obama. The lie has propagated through the liberal media and, quite honestly, it nauseated us because it was so obviously staged and such a distorted lie. Well, as it turns out, the lie didn't end there. Deadbeat Barack Owes Chicago, Philly
While Chicago waits for Obama's socialist stimulus money to pour in, the City of Chicago is begging Barack Obama's campaign to make good on its promise to pay for the election night victory party in Grant Park. The bill: $1.74 million, past due and deliquent.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Chicago has yet to recoup the $1.74 million cost of President Obama's victory celebration in Grant Park -- despite a burgeoning $50.5 million budget shortfall that threatens more layoffs and union concessions. "The Democratic National Committee has not yet paid us,'' Peter Scales, a spokesman for the city's Office of Budget and Management, said Thursday after questions from the Chicago Sun-Times. "We're reaching out to them this week." Full Story...
Meanwhile, Philadelphia has also been stiffed by Obama. According to the Philadelphia Daily News, "Obama for America, still owes Philadelphia nearly $24,000 for several pre-election events, and the cash-strapped city hasn't given up its collection efforts." Full Story...
It's pretty easy for folks like Barack Obama to lecture the rest of us about responsibility and sacrifice, then turn around and promise to distribute nearly $787 Billion of other folks' money. But when it comes to paying his own bills, Barack Obama just ain't all that. "Change," anybody? Spare change?

Ready to Storm Obama's Playing Field
There was much made - and is still being made - of Barack Obama's links to Muslims and Islamic entities during the recent presidential election. Some people were/are concerned with his father's Muslim beliefs. Some were/are concerned with his history in Pakistan. All were/are still concerned about the huge amounts of donations from foreign nationals in Muslim nations.
The Bench also wrote about some of Obama's connections to Islam, but strove to do so in a way that examined facts, not conjecture or rumor. The Bench passed on a number of "stories" that readers sent to us, because after we cross checked them we found that they were false myth or perilously devoid of hard facts. Then there were those driven by anti-Muslim bigotry, and while The Bench does not run from calling an Islamic terrorist an "Islamic terrorist," we also acknowledge that the vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists. Five weeks after Obama won the election, The Bench still gets such letters. The Internet still throbs with such items.
Let us stress that bigotry against Barack Obama for any past or present Muslim influence in his personal life is no more acceptable than the hateful bigotry thrown at Republican contender Mitt Romney. Romney, a Mormon from a long line of Mormons, was savaged by bigots in both the Democrat Party as well as his own. Perhaps one day we can judge a person by the content of his character and not by the flavor of his religious beliefs. (That said, I confess that I would be a bit nervous about a candidate for any office who was known to be a Satanist.)
A recent letter came to The Bench, in which the well-meaning author expressed concern about Obama's intention to deliver a major speech in the capital of "a Muslim nation" shortly after his upcoming inauguration. That, the reader wrote, as well as his Muslim campaign donors, is supposed to be a signal that Obama is really some kind of stealth Islamist. She stopped short of speculating that Obama owns a closet full of suicide bomber belts, but she might as well have written that, too. My response to her, and my advice to people who are still all worked up about Obama's Muslim ties, follows:
Dear Reader:
As for Obama and the Muslims: First, take a deep breath, hold it for ten seconds, then... let ... it ... out slowly. Now then, let me play Devil's advocate:
Proceed with caution on this, because we do not know absolutely that he is a Muslim. In fact, overwhelming evidence is that he's not a Muslim. Think about it: The drug use years ago. The way Michelle dresses (like an average Western woman). The fact that he does not bow down five times daily to pray or attend mosque services as a worshipper. For argument's sake, let's agree that he was born to a Muslim father. So what? My dad was Jewish, my mother was non-denominational Protestant. I grew up agnostic but converted to Christianity after a personal epiphany, but have never prayed in a church. I pray at the beach or under a tree or wherever I want (because God hears all, everywhere, anytime). What does that mean? It means nothing, and it means everything: We are all unique, and one of the great things about the US, and the West in general, is freedom of choice and freedom from familial bondage to any particular religion or set of customs.
So, is Barack Obama secretly Muslim? Only he knows, but I seriously doubt it. If he's some kind of sleeper agent or Manchurian candidate, well, we can't know that yet. In the meantime, I have to go with the overwhelming evidence (of his actions) that he is not Muslim. Is he sympathetic to the Muslims? No doubt he is. Is that, in and of itself, a bad thing? It depends upon the degree to which he sympathizes with them. Does he have the right to feel an affinity for Muslims? Yes. Does he have a right to make a speech in any city he chooses? Yes, he does, and I think the reason that he is making an announcement in "an Islamic capital" is that the subject of his speech will relate directly to Muslim and/or Arab concerns and affairs. That should not be suspicious, necessarily. We are, after all, engaged in friendly diplomatic relations with many of the Arab nations. We have invaded two Muslim nations recently. We import a huge portion of our petroleum from that region. We need to strengthen relations with them, not by appeasing, but through mutual cooperation in matters of security and military coordination, as well as a broad range of mutual concerns with all things economic. I could go on and on, but I think you see where I'm going with all of this.
Just because he has Muslim contributors is not necessarily an indictment of his character or intentions, either. Any candidate who runs an election campaign for any office higher than dog catcher is likely to receive contributions from unsavory characters or controversial entities. I guarantee you that every Republican got contributions from neo-Nazis or Klan members. Does that make the Republican politicians Nazis or Klansmen? Of course not. Pedophiles, litterers, jaywalkers and all kinds of people donate to both parties. So, a large number of Muslims donated to Obama. What does that mean, really, except that they are anti-White, anti-Western and/or see Obama as somebody who might take us in a direction more favorable to Muslim countries. That, by the way, does not necessitate an anti-Israel stance. We cannot assume, and we cannot know, how many of the tens of thousand of Muslims who donated to Obama's campaigns (IL Senate, US Senate, President) are disloyal Americans or in favor of driving Israel into the sea, or may be terrorist sympathizers. My guess (and there is no way for anybody to measure this) is that the vast majority of them are average people who donated to a particular candidate (Obama, in this case) for average reasons: Ethnicity, their personal religious orientation, liberal political orientation, socio-economic history and status, and on and on and on.
Let's sit back and enjoy the show. We, you and I, are spectators for the moment. Let's let the referees on the field officiate the game. If there is foul play down there, we trust that the referees will throw a flag down and issue the appropriate penalties. Like British soccer fans, however, we hold in reserve the option of storming the field if the referees don't do their job.

The only thing that Pipes missed was the Obama connection to the recent Chicago story of the sharia-compliant Sunrise Equities scandal, in which approximately 150 mostly Muslim investors lost a total of $80 million. OBAMA'S SECRET, FOREIGN DONATIONS
Though Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were “legitimate,” the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign.
Staggering amounts of foreign money is pouring into Obama's campaign chest. How beholden to foreign interests would Barack Obama be if he wins in November? For that matter, how beholden will he forever be to them, whether he becomes our next president or just remains a U.S. Senator? A mind-blowing report at NewsMax gives details - LOTS of details.
For example:
Until recently, the Obama Web site allowed a contributor to select the country where he resided from the entire membership of the United Nations, including such friendly places as North Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Where is much of that money coming from?
...from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France.
Isn't the Obama campaign checking to make sure the donations are legal?
Unlike McCain’s or Sen. Hillary Clinton’s online donation pages, the Obama site did not ask for proof of citizenship until just recently. Clinton’s presidential campaign required U.S. citizens living abroad to actually fax a copy of their passport before a donation would be accepted. With such lax vetting of foreign contributions, the Obama campaign may have indirectly contributed to questionable fundraising by foreigners.
International investigations are already ramping up:
At one event, a table for eight at one fundraising dinner went for $16,800. Nigerian press reports claimed sponsors raked in an estimated $900,000. The sponsors said the fundraisers were held to help Nigerians attend the Democratic convention in Denver. But the Nigerian press expressed skepticism of that claim, and the Nigerian public anti-fraud commission is now investigating the matter.
Are there any links to terrorist money?
In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign.
“All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded [Barack Obama],” the Libyan leader said. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency..."

Frightening stuff, this. A man who might soon become our next president is taking money from, and praised by, foreign donors living in other countries. As noted at the top of this post, "Though Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were 'legitimate,' the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign." Forget your idealism about allowing anybody to donate to a campaign. Forget your feelings about globalism. The simple fact is that the Obama campaign is knowingly taking huge donations from foreign entities. That alone is a violation of federal law, and the Obama campaign seems more than happy to repeatedly commit that violation.

Ouch! Readers beat up me for accurately using Hillary Clinton's full name as she uses it: "Hillary Rodham Clinton.
It all started when Idiot Dave wrote in to say that her middle name was not Rodham. That was in response to a post I wrote about Obama's paranoid fear of people using his real middle name, "Hussein."
Amazingly, people wrote in to say that her middle name is Diane, and Rodham is her maiden name. They quoted the unreliable Wikipedia. They apparently paid no attention to Hillary's own web site, Hillary's own press releases, and reality itself. But that's a Liberal fer ya (Big "L); Wikipedia and feelings are more important than fact. And the simple fact is, to repeat, that Hillary Rodham Clinton uses "Rodham" as her middle name. Ergo, it is her middle name. Period.

Maybe instead of trashing Dave you could have taken his advice and researched what a middle name really is. A second given name, so her middle name is Diane and her maiden name is Rodham actually a surname, not a given name. I'm sick of you calling everybody idiots when you don't even know what you are talking about.Anyway, you'll come back with some bullshit about how a surname can be used as a middle name, so before we have to hear anymore crap from you, yeah in the case that's its a given name after the first name and not the surname of the parents on the birth certificate, so shut your trap because a given name and a surname are two different things. Regardless of your feelings on the matter, "Rodham" is clearly not being used as a middle name by Mrs. Clinton or her campaign. Do you see John Sidney McCain, Mike Dale Huckabee, or Ron Earnest Paul plastered on any of those candidates' websites? Um, no. Because people don't use their middle names like that, whether or not their middle name is Hussein.

Obama's Baby Name Game
According to BabyNames.com, the name "Barack" means "Blessed," and the origin of the name Barack is African. Whoa! AFRICAN! Then, then, then using his first name - his actual first name - must be anti-black! Good Lord People! Now we know that using Mr. Obama's first name is a racist fear bomb!
Michelle Obama says that using her hubby's actual middle name is a "fear bomb." Michelle Obama is full of crap. The flap is all about a talk show host who recently had the nerve - the nerve! - to refer to Obama by his full name: Barack Hussein Obama. Yes, that's his real name. But he doesn't like it when people say it. Neither does his wife Michelle, the woman who was never proud of her country until just a few days ago.
Michelle Obama, who often has decried "the fear bomb'' that opponents have used against her husband for his middle name -- Barack Hussein Obama -- said in Canton, Ohio, today that it is happening again and shows why it's so important that he wins election as president. So writes Mark Silva in the Chicago Tribune today.
"They threw in the obvious, ultimate fear bomb," [Michelle] Obama said today of her husband's 2004 Senate race. "We're even hearing [that] now. When all else fails, be afraid of his name, and what that could stand for, because it's different.'"
This is insane. His middle name really is Hussein. A lot of Americans - good, decent Americans - have partly or fully Arabic or Muslim sounding names. Many of them have Muslim sounding first names, and last names. So is a Mr. Mohammed supposed to get bent out of shape because you just used his actual, Muslim sounding name? No, of course not.
Would I be committing some kind of hate speech if I actually called a Mexican person by their actual, Mexican sounding name? What about a Jewish guy? What if I yelled across the street, "Hey! Mr. Lebinowitz! How are you today?" Well, going by Barack's example, I'd be dropping a fear bomb. My God! I just revealed that Mr. Lebinowitz's last name is actually "Lebinowitz!" That's unacceptable! What if there's an antisemite within earshot?
But Barack Obama will not tolerate such a hateful thing as the use of his actual middle name. No sirree, no sir. Here's a suggestion for Barack Hussein Obama: If it's such a sensitive issue, pal, change your name. Change your middle name to Harrigan and we'll all just hoist a green beer together, Paddy.
I wonder if using the name "Obama" is another fear bomb?
