Updated: Man Held in UK Mosque Stabbing of Four Including Police Officer

June 15, 2013 - A quiet residential neighborhood in Birmingham, England was shaken by a multiple stabbing incident Saturday night. The incident seems to have nothing to do with terrorism or hate crimes.

"Four men including a police officer have been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a mosque in Birmingham," reports Sky News tonight. "The officer was stabbed as he arrived at a mosque in Birmingham where three people had been attacked by a knifeman." Sky News says that all four men are hospitalized and a 32-year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

UPDATE, 16 June: "Two worshippers, a 28-year-old man who suffered multiple stab wounds and a 36-year-old man who suffered a single stab wound to the thigh, were also being treated in hospital," reports The Guardian UK. "Another worshipper suffered a hand injury but did not need hospital treatment. All were given first aid at the scene by police officers and worshippers, who included an off-duty surgeon." The Guardian also reports that attacker's motivation for Saturday's attack are not known, "but there was no evidence it was a hate crime or linked to any other incidents." The Guardian says that the 32-year-old murder suspect "was transferred to a secure mental health facility on Sunday after he was deemed unfit to be interviewed by police."

The mosque is the Washwood Heath Muslim Centre at 790-792 Washwood Heath Road, Ward End, Birmingham, West Midlands. (See map and photo.) Listed at the same address is a school called Madrasah Qasim ul Uloom and a majid called Anwar-ul-Madina.

The West Midlands Police press release said that "Officers arrived at the incident and whilst the suspect was being detained, one police officer also suffered stab wounds. The three men and the male police constable were taken to hospital; all four men are currently described as being in a stable condition and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The man was arrested at the mosque on suspicion of attempt murder and is currently in custody. Officers are conducting patrols in the area in a bid to reassure local people and a cordon is in place whilst investigations continue at this time."

Ward End is an area of Birmingham, England. It covers the area between Saltley, Hodge Hill and Stechford and includes Ward End Park, according to Wikipedia, which also notes that "there are a large number of mosques, located on Ward End, Washwood Heath, Hodge Hill and Alum Rock Road or nearby." The UK Mosque Searcher lists nine mosques in Ward End.

June 10, 2013 - An exclusive Fox News story this afternoon says that jailed filmmaker Nakoula Basseley Nakoula says he will finish his controversial "Innocence of Muslims." Nakoula is also known as "Sam Bacile."

The video mocks the propeht Mohammed. It is badly produced, with horrible acting, horrible sound, horrible -- well, it's just thoroughly horrible. It's so bad, in fact, that it's good.

You might say it's the "Planet Nine From Outer Space" of movies about historical figures. Imagine the two together as a double feature. Plan Nine features some mindless, zombie-like characters who do bad things.

Although Innocence of Muslims did upset a lot of Mohammed's faithful, it was virtually unknown before Comrade Leader Obama, Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice gave it worldwide publicity by falsely blaming the video for inciting the violent attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012, in which Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died. They did so to deflect criticism of their own incompetence in the handling of what has become known as Benghazigate.

Don't take my word for it. White House spokesliar Jay Carney told reporters, "These protests were in reaction to a video." (Even the Egyptian government said the attack was an organized terrorist operation, and that the video was a total non-factor.)

Like the zombies in Plan Nine From Outer Space, the false attribution of the Benghazi attack to Innocence of the Muslims just keep walking around, arms outstretched, eyes blank. There are innumerable undead news reports lurking on the internet, and Obama's zombie-like followers still repeat the lie about the video. There is a remake of Plan Nine From Outer Space coming soon, by the way. Let's hope it doesn't spark attacks on any of our intergalactic outposts.

Innocence of Muslims

"Nakoula, who was thrust into the international spotlight — and then federal prison — after the White House wrongly blamed the 14-minute, amateurish trailer for the attack, says he has more than two hours of footage to complete the film, for which he hopes to find a distributor upon his release on Sept. 26," report Fox News.

"When asked if he believed his film was used as a scapegoat, or if he was unfairly prosecuted — charged with probation violations related to his film — Nakoula became tight-lipped," says Fox. Nakoula interviewed by Fox News in a series of phone calls "from a location he did not want disclosed."

"Nakoula Basseley Nakoula deserves a place in American history. He is the first person in this country jailed for violating Islamic anti-blasphemy laws," wrote Rich Miller for Politico on May 9. "You won’t find that anywhere in the charges against him, of course. As a practical matter, though, everyone knows that Nakoula wouldn’t be in jail today if he hadn’t produced a video crudely lampooning the prophet Muhammad."

But what about the videos below? One  shows Sec. of State Hillary Clinton in an unabashed moment of American triumphalism, expressing her joy over invading an Muslim nation and killing its leader. The other shows her bragging about killing Osama bin Laden. I'm serious: How many Muslims have seen these videos worldwide? How much have they contributed to the hatred of America? Will Hillary issue an apology for them? Will Obama demand their removal from YouTube?

Obama Loves This Jew-Hating Egyptian University

Sept. 9, 2012 - When Barack Obama lavished praise on Egypt's Al-Azhar University back in a speech there in 2009, did he know that it was staffed by rabid Jew haters? Was so ignorant that he did not know, or did he know but just didn't care?

In that speech Obama said, “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam. It was Islam — at places like Al-Azhar — that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment.”Al-Azhar is Egypt's highest Islamic authority.

Hamid al-Atrash is the head of the Fatwa Committee of Al Azhar in Egypt. He issued a ruling that allows Arabs to prohibit Jews from visiting their Jewish sites in Arab lands, according to a post at the Elder of Ziyon blog,

In his 2009 speech at Al-Azhar, Obama said, “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance." That tradition is pretty spotty, however, varying greatly from place to place, and from time to time.

As FrontPageMag points out, Obama "boasted of standing up for the right of Muslim women to wear the Hijab." They end with a pointed question: "Will be similarly stand up for the right of Jews to pray in a synagogue in Egypt?"

Don't count on it. In fact, all non-Muslims are in peril in the new Egypt that Barack Obama holds up as a shining example of his own foreign policy so-called successes.  "Of course, the persecution of Christians is nothing new in the Middle East," notes The National Interest. "But times are tougher now with the rise of governments motivated by Islamism, which in some interpretations does not give equal billings to other faiths. And amidst the ongoing unrest, some of these regional states have imposed crackdowns on non-Islamic religious communities when their stability is threatened."

The persecution of Christian Copts in Egypt is not a new problem, but it has gotten progressively worse since the fall of Mubarak last year. Last month, a publication called El Fegr posted a copy of a letter titled "An Urgent and Important Notice." It incited violence against Christians. "The letter refers to Christians as enemies of Allah's religion and slaves of the cross," reports Catholic Online, and it "calls for Allah to curse them and for all Muslims to physically attack or kill Christians throughout Egypt..."

"Fears for the future of religious minorities in Egypt were accentuated last week," reported Gatestone Institute, "when it was announced that the last synagogue in the country would be closed down. The Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue, which had operated in Alexandria, was the last functioning center of Jewish life in the country. It is now clear that its cavernous halls, built in the nineteenth century, will not be open to worshippers hoping to mark Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur services this year."

Gatestone also notes that sectarian tensions across Egypt "have been heightened ever since last year's revolution, with Christian minorities bearing the brunt of the violence. One of the unintended consequences of the Arab Spring is the guarantee of security – long assured by the region's old dictators; it has been cast away by the tide of popular unrest sweeping the region."

Geert Wilders Acquitted of Hate Charges in Netherlands

June 23, 2011 - An enormous victory for free speech was won in the Netherlands (Holland) on June 22, 2011. Dutch politician Geert Wilders has been fighting charges of "inciting hatred" by speaking out against sharia law and other Islamic practices. Wilders' Freedom Party is the Netherlands' third largest political party in the nation's parliament. (Below is a video report by AlJazeera, followed by a video titled "Geert Wilders' Warning to America.") "The acquittal yesterday of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders on charges of inciting hatred," reports The Independent (UK), "has split the Netherlands down the middle as effectively as the populist MP's right-wing rhetoric." The report about the acquittal of Geert Wilders noted that the judge "ruled that some of Mr Wilders' comments may have been "crude and denigrating" but they did not amount to inciting hatred against Muslims and remained within the boundaries of free speech." “I am delighted with this ruling,” wrote Geert Wilders on his own website today. “It is a victory, not only for me but for all the Dutch people. Today is a victory for freedom of speech. The Dutch are still allowed to speak critically about islam, and resistance against islamisation is not a crime. I have spoken, I speak and I shall continue to speak.”

The Independent report quoted a sociologist in Amsterdam as saying that Wilders "has been told that he has been rude and offensive but it is on the border of what the criminal law allows. It is good. The Netherlands is, after all, a tolerant country and we should keep it that way." Wilders went on trial in October 2010 because he compared the Koran with Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf." In Geert Wilders' closing statement, reports Der Spiegel, he "said that his controversial statements against Islam were protected by the right to free speech. Wilders said he believed the process of Islamization presents a threat to Europe and that it is his right and duty to warn the public about it. If he had been convicted, Wilders could have faced up to one year in jail or a fine of up to €7,600 ($10,865). At the peak of the controversy over his statements, Wilders was once even banned from entering the United Kingdom."

Saudi Cleric: Smashing Skulls for Allah Is an Honor

Saudi Cleric Muhammad Al-Arifi told his television viewers last month that "the desire to shed blood, smash skulls, and sever simbs for the sake of Allah is an honor for the believer." The Prophet Muhammad said that the dust of battle for the sake of Allah and the smoke of Hell shall never meet in a man's nose. [...] The Koranic verses that deal with fighting the infidels and conquering their countries say that they should convert to Islam, pay the jizya poll tax, or be killed. If the Muslims had implemented this, we would not have reached the humiliation in which we find ourselves today. French Muslims: "You're A Dirty Race, We Are Going To Kill You"

Grenoble, France - July 18, 2010 - Two heavily armed immigrants, muslim arabs, robbed a casino. Trying to escape police by shooting at them, one were shot in the head, of course to death. Immigrants declared to journalists from the first French TV channel (TF1): "You killed one of ours. Anyway, you are a dirty race, we are going to kill you too." [and] "Everything that is European, we are going to shoot you." Four people were arrested by local police "in connection with an attempted murder," according to the Albuquerque Express. "The four were arrested in the French city of Grenoble [map] after accusations were raised that they had fired on police after a service for a suspected armed robber who had been shot dead during a police chase. In the violence that followed the [funeral] service, angered rioters attacked a tram with baseball bats and iron bars and burned out around 15 cars in two nights of angry retaliation.... Police pursued two men who had been suspected of holding up the casino at Uriage-les-Bains [map] early on Friday morning.When the two men fired shots at them, wounding an officer, police returned fire, killing one of the men, Karim Boudouda."

"You killed one of ours. Anyway, you are a dirty race, we are going to kill you too," said that local Muslim immigrant.Racist? Yes. Murderous? Yes. Is that hateful rhetoric unjustified in light of the fact that the man who was shot was in the act of robbing a casino and shooting at police while engaged in a car chase? Of course. Does the Koran justify that behavior in some followers' minds? Sadly, it does.

You can blame the rioting on the lousy way France views ethnicity, or the way France - like most European nations - has trouble assimilating newcomers into its own society. To be fair, American Muslims - and those in most European countries - do not engage in riots at which their cousins in France seem so practiced. That being said, however, there's that troubling and racist phrase, "you are a dirty race," followed by the threat (promise?) to shoot "everything that is European." The "dirty race" part is most troubling, even more so than the simple threat to shoot people. It has the old stink of genocidal tendencies. The Telegraph UK reports: Police on Sunday arrested four men for attempted murder by shooting at officers during riots in the poor neighbourhood of La Villeneuve. The four were seized in a dawn raid in La Villeneuve after two nights of unrest. The riots broke out after a 27-year-old man was shot dead by police when he allegedly robbed a casino. Police said the four were held for attempted murder after firing bullets at police during the worst of the rioting early on Saturday... The "powder kegs" in many of France's poor districts are ready to explode again. Anti-European hatred by immigrants in France, particularly by Muslims, threatens to wreak havoc on life and property as it has so often in the recent past, particularly the riots of 2005 and 2007. Fortunately, for the moment at least, the Grenoble situation seems to have eased somewhat. According to France24, "Police deployed in a suburb of the French city of Grenoble to halt a wave of rioting said Monday the situation had calmed down overnight, though two gunshots were aimed at one of their vehicles. 'The night was calm, apart from two shots fired at a police vehicle,' a spokesperson for the police told AFP, adding that no cars had been set ablaze." When In Dar Al Harb, Do As The Dhimmi Do

This unbalanced report from AP writer Elaine Ganley appeared today with the headline "Muslim says mistresses are the French way of life." Let's look at an excerpt (emphasis added):

PARIS – A Muslim Frenchman at the center of a firestorm over polygamy said Monday that keeping mistresses is the French way of life. The man's case came to light after his wife was fined for driving with a veil covering her face, and his comments are an ironic riposte to those in French President Nicolas Sarkozy's government who want to push immigrants to better integrate into French society....

Subsequently, wrote Ganley, "it soon emerged that her husband may have four wives."

Hold on. The main thrust of Ganley's AP report, actually, is the "controversial legislation forbidding burqa-style Islamic veils that cover the face, on the grounds that they don't respect French values or women's dignity." So, why a headline that stresses the French tradition of mistresses? The issue here revolves around (a) the veil and its implications for security and the dignity of women, and (b) the possibility that the woman's husband, Algerian-born Lies Hebbadj, is a polygamist.
 
France's Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux, reports Ganley, "wants to revoke the French citizenship of the driver's husband if he is found to be practicing polygamy."
 
So, again, why the headline about French mistresses? I would guess that it's a nice way for a Western Civilization apologist to throw a jab at the French for daring to challenge the customs of the interlopers in their midst. What Ganley does in her report is, in effect, to distract from the real issue of the veil (include burkas with that), and polygamist practices by Muslims. Ganley waits until her last paragraph to note that "There are no official numbers on the number of polygamous families in France, most of which are from sub-Saharan Africa, but they are estimated in the tens of thousands."

Although Ganley gives prominent attention to Mr. Hebbadj's ridicule of the customs of the nation he has chosen to live in: "If we are stripped of nationality, for having mistresses," Lies Hebbadj told reporters in Nantes, then "there would be a lot of French people stripped of nationality. As far as I know, mistresses are not forbidden, neither in France, nor in Islam." 

Is Hebbadj's statement intended to make us, somehow, more sympathetic to him or to the practice of polygamy? Regardless of your opinion of the French practice of taking on mistresses, the fact of the matter is that Hebbadj is an outsider who is excusing his own culture's bad practices by criticizing the bad practices of his host culture. It's a bit like farting at a dinner party, then criticizing the host for belching. 

While we see no shortage of headlines such as "French Law Stigmatizes Muslims," we'll probably not see "Islamic Law Stigmatizes All Non-Muslims" anytime soon in the Mainstream Media.

Hebbadj should consider a career in politics. He can obfuscate with the best of them. He mocks the French for their mistresses in order to spin attention away from his alleged polygamy, and to somehow make mistresses and polygamy morally equivalent. In my own opinion, neither hobbies are admirable, but that's not the issue here. The issue is the law - the local law, for which Hebbadj and his kinsmen seem to openly scorn.

Neither Ganley nor Hebbadj mentioned anything about the time-honored tradition of child abuse and slavery in the Muslim world. Perhaps Hebbadj could advocate for those avocations as well.

Perhaps Hebbadj never heard the old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." We could update and personalize that for him: "When in Dar Al Harb, do as the Dhimmi do."  It's only polite.

Muslim Obama Supporter Arrested For Threatening Rep. Eric Cantor

March 30, 2010 - IF A MEMBER OF CONGRESS RECEIVED A DEATH THREAT, a real death threat, and somebody was actually arrested for it, wouldn't you expect to see that story at the top of the nightly newscasts, or on the front page of every daily newspaper in the country? On Saturday, Norman Leboon was arrested for making such threats. Leboon is a self-desribed Muslim who supported Comrade Barack Obama in 2008. He calls himself "The Nemesis of America; This Shia Muslim Norman LeBoon Sr."

A March 29 statement by the FBI said that "a two-count complaint and warrant was filed charging Norman Leboon with threatening to kill United States Congressman Eric Cantor and his family, and threatening to kill Congressman Eric Cantor, who is an official of the United States." (Hear the outrage from liberals? Me neither.) The FBI statement also said that "in or about late March, 2010, Leboon created and then transmitted a YouTube video to Google over the Internet, in which he threatened to kill Congressman Cantor and his family. No harm came to the Congressman or his family as a result of Leboon’s threats."

In that FBI statement, United States Attorney Michael L. Levy said, “The Department of Justice takes threats against government officials seriously, especially threats to kill or injure others. Whether the reason for the threat is personal or political, threats are not protected by the First Amendment and are crimes.”

Leboon's videos were posted on YouTube. His channel, "shiamuslimcantbestop." That account has been suspended and his videos were removed. However, you can still view some of his videos (as of 3:30 PM CDT, 3/30/10) at metacafe.com. (Videos have been removed)

Suppose Eric Cantor was a Black Democrat. Would we then be hearing screams of horror about the death threats against him? Of course we would. The Left would go into finger pointing spasms about the violent tendencies of The Right. But Cantor is (a) Jewish, (b) White, and (c) Republican. To the Left, that disqualifies Cantor for any of their sympathy. The liberals mocked the Republican claims of threats. Nevermind that there have been no arrests connected with any of the Democrat "threats," nevermind that the fact that Cantor is Jewish might also make Leboon's threat a "hate crime."

Of course, the MSM does not want to acknowledge that the only substantiated death threat against a member of Congress is not a right-winger. "After devoting several stories to unsubstantiated allegations of racism and spitting by Tea Party protesters last weekend," wrote Clay Waters at Media Research Center, "the New York Times almost ignored an actual death threat made against a top Republican, Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia, the No. 2 Republican in the House, that resulted in the first actual arrest since the alleged wave of threats against politicians began."

The liberals are still whining, however, about imagined, fabricated and false accusations of Tea Partiers shouting "n----r!" and spitting on Democrat members of Congress as they climbed the steps to the Capitol two Sundays ago to cast their votes in favor of nationalizing health care and throwing the nation into the septic tank of socialism.

It would almost be pointless to call attention to the fact that Leboon is a left-wing radical who claims to be a Muslim. It doesn't matter, really. There are kooks on both sides of the political spectrum, but no individual kook or small group of nutjobs should be held up as typical of entire political parties.  

It must be said, however, that regardless of what Leboon's real political are (and I'm sure even he knows; he threatened Obama in 2009), the Left - liberals and Democrats - have been extremely hypocritical about accusing the Tea Party movement and conservatives in general of being violent or of inciting violence, particularly in light of the thousands of incidents over the past 10 years of Leftists hold up signs that said such things as "Kill Bush." Liberals and Democrats need to open their eyes to the wackos within their own ranks. Yes, there are wackos in the Right, too, but not to the extent of the Left.

I'm trying to understand, really, but it's just so damned hard when I keep seeing stories like this one from the Assyrian International News Agency (emphasis added): Upper Egypt (AINA) -- On Monday November 23, 2009 Muslim rioters looted and burned Coptic Christian businesses in the village of Abou Shousha, which lies 25 KM from Farshoot [300 miles south of Cairo]. The terrorized Coptic inhabitants of Abou Shusha have stayed indoors, their shops are closed and their children are being kept away from school. They fear a repeat in their village of the Muslim violence which engulfed the town of Farshoot less than 36 hours earlier (AINA 11-22-2009).... The Middle East Christian Association (MECA) reported that at least three large Coptic stores and a pharmacy were looted and burnt in Abou Shusha and that the fire brigade arrived one hour late, although their headquarters is only 8 KM away from the village. "They gave the pretext of being busy in Farshoot, which is untrue, as Farshoot had a quiet night," said Wagih Yacoub of MECA. "Coptic and Muslim neighbors tried to put the fire out." The religious makeup of Egypt is 90% Muslim (mostly Sunni) and 10% Christian (9% Coptic Christian and 1% other Christian) according to the CIA World Factbook. This round of riots has been going on for days now. An earlier report from AINA (via CNN's iReport) tells us that the violence started "early morning on Saturday, November 21" in Farshoot, but also in nearby villages Kom Ahmar, Shakiki and Ezbet Waziri. Farshoot has been "the scene of ongoing Muslim mob violence against Coptic Christian inhabitants. The mob looted, vandalized and burnt Coptic property, while Copts hid indoors fearing to venture out. Reuters Cairo reported that a witness said "chaos is overwhelming (in the city)." A report from Bikya Masr explains further: "In recent weeks, Egypt has witnessed an increase in sectarian violence between Muslims and the Christian minority. As usual, these attacks took place in Upper Egypt. This time, it was reported that a young Christian man allegedly distributed a CD 'containing images that distort the reputation of a Muslim girl.' Such a peaceful, tolerant religion! What a backward, primitive, hellish place Egypt is. Pyramids and the Nile, tributes to dead times. The living Egypt is a swamp of tribal "justice," brutish people, filth and bigotry to a degree that most Americans cannot imagine. Remember the Christians of Egypt, America, on your Thanksgiving Day, and thank God Almighty that multiculturalism has not yet done to the United States what it has done for centuries in so much of the rest of the world. Say a prayer for the persecuted in Egypt and elsewhere on this harsh planet. Thank God every night when you go to bed that you live in a place where the guy you flipped off in traffic yesterday is not likely to gather his tribe and burn you out of your mud hut village. Thank God for the people who risked their lives to found this nation, so that people from around this troubled planet could finally, after thousands of years of suffering, have an island of sanity and peace in a sea of violent madness. CAIR speaker to Muslims: OK to attack Fort Bragg

Lying for Islam Barack Hussein Obama either cannot understand or refuses to acknowledge reality. Having attended a Muslim school as a child in Indonesia, it seems unfathomable that Obama is unaware that the Koran commands Muslims to terrorize and kill and in the name of Allah. For those of you who still do not believe that for millions of Muslims "jihad" includes killing, maiming, lying to and terrorizing non-Muslims, we share this with you from WorldNetDaily (emphasis added): A Council on American-Islamic Relations adviser and regular speaker at its events has suggested Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes carrying the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, N.C., according to a stunning new book exposing Washington-based CAIR's inner workings. Radical Islamic cleric Zaid Shakir, a frequent guest speaker at CAIR events, tells his Muslim audiences: "Jihad is physically fighting the enemies of Islam to protect and advance the religion of Islam. A contrasting report from Islam Online, however, paints quite a different picture: For Imam Zaid Shakir, a prominent imam at the Zaytuna Institute in California, the issue is crystal-clear in the Qur’an. It should be pointed out that the Koran also commands Muslims to lie to non-Muslims. It is called "al-taqiyya." "Al-Taqiyah, from the verb Ittaqu, means linguistically dodge the threat. Politically it means simulate whatever status you need in order to win the war against the enemy ..." (taken from a Muslim site; hat tip to "How to Discuss Islam with Muslims" blog). There are Muslims who do not follow the Koran strictly, certainly, who therefore reject al-taqiyya, but the problem is knowing which Muslim may be lying to you or when. This is a factor not only on a daily, one-on-one basis, but in situations such as international diplomacy, as well. So, when we see a report such as the one about the radical Islamic cleric Zaid Shakir hinting that Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes at Fort Bragg, and then see a statement from Islam Online quoting the same cleric saying essentially the opposite, we have to scratch our heads and wonder: Which statement by Zais Shakir was the lie? Al-taqiyya and dissimulation are words used for a practice of Muslims blatantly lying to non-Muslims. All but some of the most fundamental Muslims consider the act of Al-taqiyya or lying to non-Muslims to be a good work. This is very important when one remembers that, in Islam, salvation is determined by good works. This means that a Muslim lying to a non-Muslim is that Muslim doing a good work to earn salvation.... UN President Treki Endangers Homosexuals Worldwide

The new president of the United Nations has made statements that endanger the lives of homosexuals around the world. Since June 10, 2009, the United Nations has been led by a 9th Century-minded barbarian named Ali Abdussalam Treki. He was elected President of the sixty-fourth session of the United Nations General Assembly. He is also Libya’s Secretary (Minister) of African Union Affairs, a post he has held since 2004. (See his bio at the UN web site.) The United Nations has been a cesspool for decades. Most of its member nations are led by despots and tyrants. Over the past two days, the world was treated to the lunatic rantings of the dictators of Libya, Venezuela, the United States and Iran. Thank G-d for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who brought a fresh breeze of sanity and the much needed slap of reality into the stinking building for a precious brief time. Netanyahu delivered one of the most powerful speeches ever given in the U.N. rat's den. His even toned, fact-supported message was at once comforting and disturbing. It was comforting because he called for peace. It was disturbing because he stated bluntly just how the United Nations has done virtually nothing to maintain peace. To paraphrase Netanyahu, the UN is run by thugs and human rights violators. Those of us who follow the U.N. are not surprised by Netanyahu's words. We've know it for a long, long time. The U.N.'s top lunatic, Treki, has been making dangerous statements about homosexuals. Sadly, we are not surprised by Treki's words, either: The newly-installed president of the United Nations, Ali Abdussalam Treki, has said that homosexuality is "not really acceptable," writes Jessica Green at Pink News (UK). "Not really acceptable," taken out of context, might be taken as a harmless enough statement. Perhaps Treki is just saying it's not acceptable as a personal choice for himself? No, it's much more than that. Green's report continues (emphasis added): Treki, who is the Libyan secretary of African Union Affairs, opened the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly Friday with a press conference. One question concerned the UN resolution which calls for the universal criminalisation of homosexuality. This is frightening. Treki's comments, in Green's report, are limited to homosexuals. He says "I think it's not really acceptable by our religion, our tradition," but let us not forget that his religion and tradition (Muslim) also frequently treats women only slightly better than a farm animal. It does not tolerate Muslims who convert out of the faith. It does not tolerate a great deal of the human rights that the UN pretends to stand for, and that we in the U.S. and the U.K. take for granted. Treki – and his fellow travelers – are dangerous indeed. Evil clowns such as Treki simply reinforce the U.N.'s image as worse than useless. Some of my infrequent readers may be surprised by my position on this matter. My more regular readers will not be, for they know that while I have political disagreements over some issues (not all) that involve gay people, I am not homophobic nor a hater of gays. Civil disagreement is acceptable, but violence, as Treki implicity favors, is never acceptable. This is not a Republican or a Democrat issue. Although there are bigots in both camps, the overwhelming majority of liberals and conservatives are repulsed by the advocating of violence against anybody simply for their gender or sexual preference. The non-partisan aspect of this is proved out by statements by both Democrats and Republicans condemning Treki's repulsive remarks, as well as by what is being written by both conservative and liberal bloggers (see links under "Related" below.) Treki did not come right out and say it, but his statements are literally life threatening for homosexual people worldwide. Never forget that many homosexuals continue to be beaten and killed in Muslim countries, some even executed by stoning. Those who are already predisposed to violence against gay people may very well be encouraged by Treki's disturbing statements. Their blood will be on his hands. Why is the Sunrise Equities Web Site Still Up?

Like the ghost of a dead crazy man, the web site of failed criminal enterprise Sunrise Equities in Chicago still haunts the Internet. Sunrise Equities and some of its top officers screwed hundreds of Chicago investors - mostly Muslims - of approximately $80 - $90 million dollars. 

CEO Salman Ibrahim and his co-conspirators vanished suddenly in August, 2008. The money seems to have gone with them. The Illinois Secretary of State and the FBI are investigating the scandal. More than 100 investors woke up to learn that they had lost all of their savings to the Sunrise Equities fraud. Sunrise Equities, a "shariah-compliant" investment firm, targeted investors who were mostly Pakistani Muslim immigrants. Many the victims had taken out home equity loans just to make ends meet. Click on "About Us" and you will see this: Salman Ibrahim is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Equities Inc. Mr. Ibrahim has led the company through numerous successes with his vision and innovative thinking. 

That "vision" and "innovative thinking" was all about screwing people out of their life savings. Ibrahim was just another of the many criminal allies of Barack Obama. When Obama was running for the US Senate, Ibrahim and Sunrise Equities gave free use of some of their office space at 6355 N. Claremont, on Chicago's north side to his campaign. Another of Obama's questionable allies in Chicago is Mohammad Tariq Siddiqui ("the Builder"), a major money bundler for his political campaigns. In late August, 2009 a judge ruled that Siddiqui defaulted on a large bank loan.

Obama's Ignorance of His Father's Religion

Barack Hussein Obama's father was a Muslim. There's nothing wrong with that, and I don't want you to think for a moment that I'm implying there is or that you should think there is, either. The point here is that Obama has strong family ties to Islam. He spent a significant amount of his younger life in Pakistan, a Muslim country. He's an educated man. You'd think he'd know more about Islam and Muslims than the average person, but he has demonstrated spectacularly that he is more ignorant on the subject than most. Obama has been busy lately making speeches about Islam. His words have exposed an amazing ignorance of the history of - and current state of - the religion of Islam. For example, Obama said, on French television, “If you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” That is simply wrong. FoxNews reports that in his Cairo speech today, "he put the number of Muslims in America at 7 million. According to the CIA World Factbook, there are only 1.8 million Muslims here. President Einstein miscalculated by almost 400%." Did none of the imbeciles at the U.S. Department of State brief the Imbecile in Chief about this? Did nobody think to look up a list of nations with majority Muslim populations? (It should be noted that the exact number of Muslims in the U.S. is difficult to know. While the FoxNews report states 1.8 million Muslims in the U.S., other sources put it as high as 4 million. No source, however, is anywhere close to the 7 million claimed by Obama.) This is reminiscent of Obama's idiotic gaff about the number of people who were injured when Greensburg, Kansas was badly damaged by a tornado on May 4, 2007. The storm killed 11 people in that small town of 1,400. The total death toll from that storm for the entire state: 12. But four days later, Barack Obama told an audience that 10,000 people had died. "In case you missed it," he said, "there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed." Apparently, Obama missed it. He blamed his math error on being tired from campaigning. Perhaps Obama was tired when he greatly exaggerated the number of Muslims in the U.S. as he spoke to French television - and again when he spoke in Cairo. The man should really get some rest. On May 11, 2008, Obama was confused about the numbers of states there are in the U.S. Any sharp 4th grader knows there are 50, but not Barack Einstein Obama. "After a befuddled Sen. Barack Obama proclaimed he had visited '57 states' during a recent campaign stop in Oregon," writes Jennifer Harper, "nimble critics took him to task — wondering how could he accuse Sen. John McCain of "losing his bearings" when he himself overshot the nation by seven states." Obama again claimed he was tired. (I don't care how tired I get, the number states in the U.S. is just one of those things I would still remember.) Taking into account Obama's tendency to exaggerate numbers and to tire easily, it should not come as any great surprise that he greatly exaggerated the number of Muslims residing in the U.S. Perhaps Obama thinks that the several million additional and imaginary Muslims in America live in the additional and imaginary seven additonal and imaginary states he spoke of.

"POLITICAL CORRECTNESS BE DAMNED"

Jim Khouri, CPP has some very sharp words about Obama's recent Muslim fumbles. Kouri is the fifth Vice President and Public Information Officer of the National Association of Chiefs of Police and has served on the National Drug Task Force. He has trained police and security officers throughout the country. Khouri is no slouch. Here are some excerpts from his column today (June 5): After listening to President Barack Obama's Cairo speech -- breathlessly anticipated by the sycophants who call themselves reporters -- I believe the man needs to be educated about Islamofascism, terrorism, and religous radicalism. (And perhaps those mental giants in the news media could use an education as well.).... Most of our political leaders are ignorant of Islam and the problems Muslims face when attempting to practice a cohesive religion. Islam is and always was an ambiguous religion. In order to understand how one group can argue that Islam is a religion of peace while another group commits atrocities in the name of Islam, one must return to the source of this religion which is diametrically opposed to liberal democracy.... In short, it's safe to say that Islamism is a political religion or a religious ideology. So political correctness be damned. Still Looking For Salman Ibrahim, Reward Offered

A $5,000 (US) reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Salman Ibrahim, former CEO of Sunrise Equities in Chicago. Sunrise mysteriously locked its doors last summer and top officers disappeared, leaving hundreds of investors financially ruined. 

Ibrahim was a big donor to Barack Obama's political efforts and gave space to Obama in the Sunrise Equities offices (the group offering the reward had a YouTube page, created in December, 2008 (since taken down).

Here is what they wrote on that page, along with the video (emphasis added):

Salman Ibrahim is at large after committing multi-million dollar real estate fraud in Chicago. This video is to educate people about the Ponzi scheme run by Salman Ibrahim in different cities and states within US and abroad. You will find him associated with Islamic centers and Muslim priests (mullahs). He uses their network to grab unsuspecting people (bakras!). You will find him to be very polite and soft spoken gentleman until he grabs his clients. Once the client is captured then he shows his real colors.
