SEIU Boss Urges "Old School Ass Whipping"

A disturbing video shows how the SEIU threatened homecare providers in Fresno, CA to vote their way and even change their ballots in a union election several months ago. An SEIU-UHW boss is caught on video telling members that they need to "bury" the NUHW, the competing union (National Union of Healthcare Workers), and to "drive a stake through the heart that is thing that is NUHW." And how to do that? Lean on the membership, threaten their job security, and generally scare the hell out of them. It should be remembered that SEIU is joined at the hip with ACORN, which is heavily supported by the likes of Barack Obama. (See related videos and articles underneath this video.) Trial Date Set for Ald. Stone Campaign Workers

Lorraine Swanson has been following the felony cases of two men who worked for Chicago Alderman Berny Stone (50th Ward). Both men face numerous counts of felony vote fraud, which they allegedly committed during the 2007 aldermanic election. Swanson filed this today at her Lake Effect News site: Former Ward Streets and Sanitation Superintendent Anish Eapen and campaign worker Armando Ramos have been scheduled for a two-day bench trial on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 in the Cook County Criminal Court building at 26th and California before Judge Marcus Salone .... Charges were filed in January 2008 after the completion of a joint investigation by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s and Chicago Inspector General’s offices. FULL STORY... Stone, born circa 1749, has been Chicago's Vice Mayor since 1837, one year after the city was incorporated. Prior to getting into politics, he worked as a snake oil salesman, selling miracle potions in the American colonies of New England from a two-horse carriage. After the United States won its independence from England, Stone traveled west on foot, surviving on a diet of squirrels and rhubarb until he arrived at a swampy area, now the site of modern day Chicago. He built a small log cabin near the future site of N. Western and W. Devon, and immediately gerrymandered the swampy land. After Chicago became an incorporated city, Stone was given squatter's rights to the area now known as the 50th Ward, and was additionally granted the title and privileges of Lifelong Divine Ruler of the Land of West Ridge. OBAMA'S SECRET, FOREIGN DONATIONS

Staggering amounts of foreign money is pouring into Obama's campaign chest. How beholden to foreign interests would Barack Obama be if he wins in November? For that matter, how beholden will he forever be to them, whether he becomes our next president or just remains a U.S. Senator? A mind-blowing report at NewsMax gives details - LOTS of details. For example: Until recently, the Obama Web site allowed a contributor to select the country where he resided from the entire membership of the United Nations, including such friendly places as North Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Where is much of that money coming from? ...from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France. Isn't the Obama campaign checking to make sure the donations are legal? Unlike McCain’s or Sen. Hillary Clinton’s online donation pages, the Obama site did not ask for proof of citizenship until just recently. Clinton’s presidential campaign required U.S. citizens living abroad to actually fax a copy of their passport before a donation would be accepted. With such lax vetting of foreign contributions, the Obama campaign may have indirectly contributed to questionable fundraising by foreigners. International investigations are already ramping up: At one event, a table for eight at one fundraising dinner went for $16,800. Nigerian press reports claimed sponsors raked in an estimated $900,000. The sponsors said the fundraisers were held to help Nigerians attend the Democratic convention in Denver. But the Nigerian press expressed skepticism of that claim, and the Nigerian public anti-fraud commission is now investigating the matter. Are there any links to terrorist money? In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign. “All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded [Barack Obama],” the Libyan leader said. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency..." Frightening stuff, this. A man who might soon become our next president is taking money from, and praised by, foreign donors living in other countries. Forget your idealism about allowing anybody to donate to a campaign. Forget your feelings about globalism. The simple fact is that the Obama campaign is knowingly taking huge donations from foreign entities. That alone is a violation of federal law, and the Obama campaign seems more than happy to repeatedly commit that violation.

Stealing the Vote

Frightening statistics for you to chew on as we get closer to the Presidential Election. Hans A. von Spakovsky writes this in National Review: Amid all the talk of new voters becoming involved in the election, hopefully one group of voters will not vote in November — non-citizens, many of whom are illegally registered to vote all over the country, particularly in the southwest. Although there is no reliable method to determine the exact number registered aliens, there is evidence that this is a significant and growing problem. This, of course, is just fine with Democrats, who hope (correctly) that the majority of illegal aliens will vote for them. von Spakovsky cites Chicago as an example of this huge problem: After a grand-jury investigation of the 1982 Illinois governor’s race resulted in the conviction of aliens for illegally registering and voting, the U.S. Attorney estimated that there were 80,000 non-citizens registered to vote in Chicago. In 1985, the district director of the Immigration and Naturalization Services testified in the Illinois legislature that 25,000 illegal and 40,000 legal aliens remained registered in Chicago. The grand jury found that aliens registered so they could “obtain documents identifying them as U.S. citizens” and had used their voter registration cards “to obtain a myriad of benefits, from social security to jobs with the Defense Department.” ....
