Updated: Fake Osama Bin Laden Death Photos Surfacing

UPDATED: OBAMA WILL NOT RELEASE BIN LADEN DEATH PHOTOS. There are fake photos out there, as expected. Here are two of those fakes making the rounds on the Internet this week. There are more, and will be more still. Let's stick with these two for now.

May 4, 2011 - Was Osama bin Laden shot in the left eye? Was part of his front skull blown away by a bullet? We've gotten conflicting stories from the Obama Administration, which only serves to fuel rumors and encourage photo fakery.

There has been no official release of any Osama bin Laden death photos as of today at 11:30 a.m. CDT. U.S. officials say the still-secret photographic evidence "shows a precision kill shot above his left eye, which blew away part of bin Laden’s skull. He was also shot in the chest," reports The Independent.

But the White House said the photograph of a dead Osama bin Laden is "gruesome" and that "it could be inflammatory" if released. (Obama, as noted above, has said the death photos will not be released.)

The first bin Laden death photo (top) is a fake. Hollywood Gossip posted it yesterday (May 3). They noted that "someone who really needs to get out more took a photo of some other mangled corpse and superimposed bin Laden's face onto it. Sick."

The second photo is another fake, but it's more realistic for a couple of reasons. First, the green overtone makes it look like the night vision photos that we've all become so used to seeing.

That night vision effect lends an air of authority to the image. Second, the man who seems to be handling the body looks very military, from his clothing to the tough look of his profile. It was posted at LiveLeak.com late on the evening of May 3. The only commentary there was, "Liveleak cannot confirm the authenticity of this Osama bin Laden dead picture." However, LiveLeak later "determined" that the photo is a fraud, and offered the third photo (left) as, well, proof.

The fakery is addressed well by John Le Fevre in a post on his blog today. He writes, "As some web commentators stated, one would expect better quality photos coming from the killing of Osama bin Laden."

Le Fevre does a nice analysis of the green photo, too, and gives his readers a warning. "Early on the morning of Tuesday, May 4, 2011 the US CIA issued a warning to people not to open eMails purporting to contain attached photos of Osama bin Laden dead as such eMails contain a computer virus."

Updated: Videos 'Prove' Obama Birth Certificate Faked

April 18, 2011 - Barack Obama finally released his long form birth certificate yesterday -- or did he? Was that document authentic? No, according to a YouTuber called "extremumspiritum," who calls it a forgery. I'm presenting this without comment (yet), except to say that the maker of these videos presents a compelling case which, if true, will be one of history's biggest bombshells. He claims to "prove" the birth certificate is a fraud by using Inkscape, a graphics program, and Google's Chrome internet browser.

Update: "On the Titanic, Worried About Obama's Birth Certificate" He offers video "proof" of this claim in two videos. One, uploaded to YouTube yesterday, is titled "Obama's Long Form Birth Certificate Is A Fake!! Google Chrome Exposes Lie!" Extremumspiritum wrote this description how how he "proves" the forgery using Google Chrome: "While using the Google Chrome browser to view the high resolution pdf of Barack Obama's long form birth certificate, I noticed while zooming in on the document that the background disappears. When this happens all of the pixelated looking letters on the document disappear including the Attendents signature but other parts of the test stay intact. This only works with Google Chrome." Watch that video here (he has disabled embedding).

In another video, uploaded by Extremumspiritum today, is titled "Obama's long form birth certificate FAKE. Several layers in pdf document." This video's decription: "I opened Obama's original long form birth certificate in Inkscape. Once there I was able to move the many different layers of this forged document. Somebody forgot to flatten the layers and cover their tracks before handing this over to the president." Watch that video here (embedding disabled).

Yet Another Ginderske-Westgard Fraud and Failure

JUNE 5, 2010 - James "Jim" Ginderske will probably run for alderman again next year in Chicago's 49th Ward. He's been building his political resume since 2006, when he launched his poorly run aldermanic campaign against incumbent Joe Moore.

Since losing to Moore and two other contenders in February, 2007, Ginderske has become a shameless lapdog of Joe Moore and overseen the stunning failure of two of his own pet projects: "Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park" (NHRP) and "The Urban Coaster."

Ginderske keeps racking up spectacular failures, and continues to lie about them and misrepresent himself. First, let's look at The Urban Coaster. Then we'll examine the NHRP.

The Urban Coaster was first incorporated in October, 2008. It was involuntarily dissolved by the State of Illinois on March 12, 2010.

However, it continues to illegally misrepresent itself as "The Urban Coaster, Inc." (when we checked the "About" page on their website at 10:00 a.m., June 5, 2010). There, the publisher is listed as "The Urban Coaster, Inc." It's the "Inc." part that's the problem.

They cannot legally use "Inc." in their name, because they are not a legal corporation in Illinois. The original signers of the Articles of Incorporation on October 22, 2008 were James J. Ginderske, Francis Scudellari (right) and Thomas Westgard (left).

Westgard, an attorney of sorts, is currently listed as a Contributing Writer. He should certainly be aware that it is illegal for an entity to use "Inc." in its name and constitutes misrepresentation if, in fact, the entity is not a legal corporation. Such is the case with The Urban Coaster.

Inc-a-dink-a-doo
Curiously, Jim Ginderske calls himself the publisher of The Urban Coaster on his LinkedIn page and says he still holds that title. He says he's in the "Newspapers industry," but we wonder how that can be true when in fact the Urban Coaster seems to no longer be putting out a dead-tree version. He may technically be in publishing, but no longer in newspapers. The question, then, remains: Who, exactly, is really the publisher of The Urban Coaster?

There is a notice at the bottom of that "About" page that says, "All materials are Copyright The Urban Coaster, Inc." Since there is no such entity as "The Urban Coaster, Inc.," we can't help but wonder who actually owns the copyrights to any "materials" posted after their involuntarily dissolution on March 12, 2010.

The Urban Coaster was originally both an online and actual paper publication that billed itself as covering "all the news that fits the neighborhoods of Rogers Park, West Ridge, and Edgewater along the shore of Lake Michigan on Chicago's far North Side."

The Urban Coaster has not printed a paper version since late 2009. Their last post on Twitter was October 16, 2009. The last time they posted to their Facebook wall was March 22, 2009. It still has its website, and the most recent posting was on May 28, 2010.

The Urban Coaster usually misses or ignores the big local stories in favor of non-local headlines such as "Is the Informal Economy the Best Hope for Africa?" (May 27, 2010), "The Threat of Extremism in South Africa" (April 6, 2010), "The Tragedy of Niger's Coup" (February 23, 2010) and "Understanding Rwanda in the Context of Haiti" (January 29, 2010). That can be considered "neighborhood news" only if you live in Africa or Haiti, not Rogers Park, Illinois.

No Union Label: The Urban Coaster presents itself as pro-union, yet the Urban Coaster itself is not and never has been a union shop. Ginderske brags about his union membership but proudly participates in a non-union operation.

No Hablas Espanol: In March, 2008 there was a public meeting in Rogers Park, at which Dan Haley, the new publisher of the News-Star newspaper, introduced himself to the community. Neither Westgard nor Ginderske bothered to show up, but Ginderske minions Francis Scuddellari and Terry "Cookie" Feingold were in attendance. Both men were integral cogs in the 2007 Ginderske aldermanic campaign and both are still listed on the Urban Coaster staff roster. Feingold raised his hand and asked Haley if the News-Star had plans to publish a Spanish language version, citing Rogers Park's large Latino population. Haley said they had no such plans, and Feingold effectively chided him for not caring about the Spanish speakers among us.

The Urban Coaster has never published a Spanish version of itself either online or in paper. For that matter, Feingold's own catering company's website is English-only.

The Urban Coaster, as noted, is not incorporated, so it is misrepresenting itself by using the name "The Urban Coaster, Inc." on its website. It's not the first time, either.

The Urban Coaster has been in violation now (again) since March 12, 2010 by calling themselves "Inc." on a website that still, apparently, accepts advertising. As of June 5, 2010 at 11:36 a.m., Terry Feingold is still listed as their contact for advertising. The next item on that page, below Feingold's name, is "The Urban Coaster, Inc." To be selling advertising - or anything else - while misrepresenting yourself as a corporation is a violation of law.

IT'S FRAUDULENT

Illinois law states that
"Any corporation which (i) puts forth any sign or advertisement, assuming any name other than that by which it is incorporated or otherwise authorized by law to act or (ii) violates Section 3.25, shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor and shall be deemed guilty of an additional offense for each day it shall continue to so offend." (Source: Illinois General Assembly web site; see "Article 16 - Penalties".) As of this writing on June 5, 2010, it's coming up on 90 days since they lost their corporate status, yet they continue to use a name that is not "authorized by law."

A video interview of Jim Ginderske and Francis Scudellari talking about the beginnings of The Urban Coaster (Part 1 here; Part 2 here) reveals much. (Fast forward to 3:20 in Part 1 to get to the Ginderske-Scudellari portion.) The interview was recorded at the Heartland Cafe on March 21, 2009 during a live radio broadcast hosted by SDS member and lifelong marxist Michael James. (Little did any of them know, at the time, that The Urban Coaster would have the same kind of spectacular success that the late Air America enjoyed.)

It's darkly amusing to hear Ginderske insist that The Urban Coaster would be unbiased (in fact, it's had a boldly pro-socialist slant from the beginning), and to hear them promise, in Part 2, that "within a year" they would publish a Spanish version of The Urban Coaster.

As noted, that has yet to happen, and with no paper version - and no advertising - there seems little chance that they their promise will be kept. Involuntarily dissolved by order of the State of Illinois one year and nine days after that promise was made, it seems like just one more broken Ginderske promise.

Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park (NHRP) was first incorporated in December, 2006, at the height of Ginderske's 2007 aldermanic run.

It was involuntarily dissolved by the State of Illinois on May 9, 2009. NHRP was created primarily as an attempt to make Ginderske look like a man of the people and a guy who just wanted to help the neighborhood. With the benefit of hindsight, we can now see that Ginderske neglected NHRP when it was no longer politically useful to him.

Watch for him to try to rehabilitate the discredited NHRP, however, as he gears up for another aldermanic run in 2011. Ginderske continues to make lame attempts now and then to misrepresent NHRP as a legitimate group.

As recently as September 14, 2009 (four months after losing its legal status as a corporation), Ginderske was pushing NHRP. According to the Minutes of the Public Hearings on the FY2010 Preliminary Budget, page 3, for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System Board of Directors, he was registered as "Jim Ginderske, Representative, Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park" and submitted "written testimony." We couldn't find the details of that testimony, but we bet that Ginderske did not tell the Board that the group he was representing had been involuntarily dissolved by the State of Illinois months earlier.

Ginderske lists himself as the current "President" of NHRP on his LinkedIn page. He claims that NHRP is in the "Research industy."

In July, 2008, Chicago News Bench noted that NHRP had not given a full accounting of any money that passed through its hands. Today, on June 5, 2010, we would still like to see a full accounting from NHRP.

Ginderske's partner in these messes: Thomas J. Westgard was Ginderske's campaign chair in the 2007 run for alderman. Westgard has been an integral part of Ginderske's fraudulent NHRP and Urban Coaster failures. Will he be part of Ginderske's sure-to-be-fraudulent 2011 campaign?

MUST-SEE VIDEO - Health Care Bill Ripped Point by Painful Point

On April 27, 2010, U.S. Senator Johnn Barrasso (R-Wyoming) ripped apart the recently passed health care bill on the floor of the U.S. Senate. He did not shy away from rubbing Democrat noses in the stinking heap of lies and failures.
xx"A month after the health care bill was signed into law, Americans continue to learn the impacts of this bad legislation.

On April 22, 2010, the Chief Actuary of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released a report that confirms that the law will increase health care costs, raise federal spending, threaten access to care for our seniors and result in higher premiums for Americans."

~ U.S. Sen. John Barrasso web site

Barrasso gave a shocking and concise diagnosis of the health care bill, detailing its major failures in the clearest critique I've heard yet. Barrasso is also an orthopaedic surgeon and knows medicine like Comrade Barack Obama never will. He cited specific provisions of the bill and used quotes and figures from the Obama Regime's own agencies to show just how the bill falls short of living up to Comrade Obama's false promises and lies.

The Hartford Courrant sums it up well:
"The government's own Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has reported that health care costs will rise under President Barack Obama's health care bill. The unpopular law passed just a month ago through one of the most twisted and corrupt legislative processes the American people have ever seen. And now the government is admitting it will fail in one of its primary objectives: to reduce health care costs for the American people. The president and the Democrats are spending $1 trillion that we do not have and our costs will still go up."
Do you still like that "change" thing, Democrats?  We tried to warn you. You didn't listen.

Whistleblower Got Climategate Emails, Not Hacker

Well well, seems "Climategate" may have been an inside job by a disgruntled employee, if you will. Perhaps the falsification of climate data finally sickened the insider enough that he/she just couldn't sleep well at night any longer. This shocking revelation is reported in a November 30 article at the Washington Examiner. The article starts by reminding us that "reams of information were posted on a Russian server detailing the inner workings" of climate researchers, and that the information shows that those researchers have been fudging data to make it conform to their political agenda. For over a week and a half, it was thought that a Russian hacker gained access to e-mails but now, it turns out, it was a whistleblower from within: "The information included e-mails, computer codes, annotations to code and the like," writes Chris Horner for the Examiner. He notes that many of the documents were communiques "responding to a long-frustrated series of requests under the United Kingdom's freedom of information law." Horner's bombshell comes in this sentence: "This is only one of numerous factors indicating that the disclosures were not the work of a 'hacker,' as the media parrot without evidence, but a whistleblower on the inside." The "Climategate" Scandal and Resistance to Truth

As world leaders prepare to meet in Denmark next month to discuss the implementation of the Copenhagen Protocol (the continuation of the Kyoto Protocol designed to cap carbon emissions in industrialized nations) one topic certain to be the buzz amongst attendees—at least unofficially—will be the growing “Climategate” scandal that currently rocking the United Kingdom. - Robert Romano, GetLiberty.org This is not just another repeat of telling you that everything Al Gore has been saying about global warming is a pack of lies. This is new information. The proof is in a barrel of emails accessed by a hacker last week. The emails have been certified as authentic, and they show that global warming (or do you say "climate change?") researchers have been doping the data for years. It's all a big fraud. The UK Telegraph reports that “Around 1,000 emails and 3,000 documents were stolen from UEA computers by hackers last week and uploaded on to a Russian server before circulating on websites run by climate change sceptics. Some of the correspondence indicates that the manipulation of data was widespread among global warming researchers.” Romano notes that the hackers posted an anonymous note with the hacked emails: “We feel that climate science is too important to be kept under wraps. We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents. Hopefully it will give some insight into the science and the people behind it.” NOTE TO LIBERALS: Before you start whining about the ethics of publishing hacked "private" emails, it should be remembered that the New York Times and other papers had no problem publishing emails pilfered from Sarah Palin's computer by hackers. The frothy-mouthed, drooly orgasm that you had while reading those stolen emails was just fine with you, wasn't it? When leaked national security documents are published by the New York Times, the leaker is a "whistleblower" and a hero to you, right? Ah, but when evidence (proof, really) of one of the biggest frauds ever perpetrated on the world is exposed, the whistleblowers are dismissed as "just hackers" and as "unethical." Deal with it. Regardless of the ethics of the hackers, the fact remains that the climate researchers were lying by falsifying data, creating hysteria and fear where there should have been none, causing children to go to bed at night worried about the oceans boiling, and so on. The lying researchers are the real story, not the hackers. Try to stay focused on the real issue, and accept that you've been suckered. The truth shall set you free. The perpetrators of this global fraud, and the suckers who have bought into it, will continue to deny the exposure of the lie. Chris Mooney, a sycophantic global warming fool, wrote this pitiful denial piece at Discover Magazine today: Those of us who think this is all smoke and no fire are starting from the following position: There is a massive body of science, tested and retested and ratified by many leading scientific bodies, showing that global warming is real and human caused. So then we pose the following question: What would it take for “ClimateGate” to significantly weaken this body of evidence in a serious way? ....I don’t see how anything about “ClimateGate” changes this big picture significantly–and again, that’s even if we assume the worst about what the emails reveal. Mooney is beyond help, apparently. He does not seem to understand that the "massive body of science, tested and retested" is not good science. It is falsified, and it's a real problem when "authoritative" publications such as Discover Magazine cannot see through the smoke screen thrown up by the researchers who have given us fake data for years. That smoke has been blown away by the hackers, yet Chris Mooney, Discover Magazine and others like them refuse to accept what is now clearly visible. They have staked so much of their reputations on a massive lie that their vision has become impaired. They are blind to, and resistant to, the truth, as are millions of people around the world. It will take years for the revelations of "Climategate" to be fully heard, let alone fully understood and, finally, accepted by a public that has been steeped in lies for so long by so many "respected" scientists and gullible politicians. Examiner.com wrote, on Nov. 20, that "Britain’s Climate Research Unit, University of East Anglia, suffered a data breach in recent days when a hacker apparently broke into their system and made away with thousands of emails and documents. The stolen data was then posted to a Russian server and has quickly made the rounds among climate skeptics. The documents within the archive, if proven to be authentic, would at best be embarrassing for many prominent climate researchers and at worst, damning." Damning, indeed. Pay close attention to the developing "Climategate" story. It is huge, and will have far-reaching effects. There is talk of suing NASA for participating in the fraud (see link below). Many people are already talking about dumping "green" stocks in companies that have built themselves on the false foundation of global warming. Whole text books need to be rewritten. Meanwhile, Al Gore is in Chicago today (Nov. 24) to sign copies of his latest global warming book of lies and untruths. I'm told by somebody who was at the Borders books at 150 N. State Street for Gore's noon signing that the crowd was "surprisingly small." Perhaps that's a sign of hope. Climate Research Fraud and Fakery Revealed by Computer Hacker (Updated)

Update, Nov. 30: Whistleblower Got Climategate Emails, Not Hacker Note/Update: Many people still do not understand how huge this story is. It is, pardon the expression, earth shattering for many, and many are having a hard time coming to grips with it. It's as though the curtain has been ripped away, revealing the man who pretended to be the Wizard of Oz. A reader who is having a hard time facing the harsh reality of disillusionment wrote a comment, reproduced at the bottom of this post.

Falsified climate "data" and strong indications of outright fraud have been revealed by the hacking of a computer at the Hadley Climatic Research Centre (UK), an influential research facility. That's right, fraud. Here's an example, brought to us by Chicago Bungalow (CB), who notes that emails were among the files accessed by the hacking operation. "The emails include one purportedly from Philip Jones, Director of the CRU (Climate Research Unit)," writes CB, "referring to the now well-known 'hockey stick' graph in Michael Mann's article in Nature." Read more at Chicago Bungalow...

We've been saying for years that the gurus of climate change fall into one of two categories: (1) Frauds who deliberately fudge the data (e.g., Al Gore), and (2) Incompetent science quacks who parrot the global warming/climate change mumbo-jumbo in a pitiful attempt to be in with the in crowd. In addition to those false priests of the Church of Climate Change, of course, are the billions of morons who have swallowed whole the wafers of global warming. Perhaps some will be swayed by this revelation, but not many will be. It takes a lot to sway somebody away from their religion, which is exactly what the belief in Global Warming has become.

Comment left by "Juicyfruit" on 11/20/2009: "So lets say someone breaks into Tea Party Headquarters and hacks into their computer and then pronounces to the world that what the Tea Party folk believe in is a fraud. I think one should question the definately question the source of information that comes from people who break into other peoples computers. Im still out on the whole global warming thing. But I do have morals."

My Response to "Juicyfruit": Whenever you write to me you give a fake email address and use fake names like Wierdo, Taxman, Sam and now Juicyfruit. So, how much credence should we give to YOU? Now, I agree with you that the hacking was unethical. However, your comparison of that to a hypothetical hacking of the "Tea Party Headquarters" is seriously flawed for several reasons:

1) There is no "Tea Party Headquarters," per se. The movement is made up of hundreds of loosely cooperating groups, none of which is beholden to a national organization.

2) We are not talking about opinion or "belief," as you put it. We are talking about the numbers, the mathematics and hard data that were fudged by the people at the Hadley Climatic Research Centre.

3) The Hadley people were screwing the data, as demonstrated with notes such as this: "I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline." That's not political opinion or difference in philosophy, JF, it's outright fraud with numbers. This has nothing to do with Tea Parties, JF. As for the source of the information, it's the Hadley Climatic Research Centre, with a middle man in Russia who hacked into their computer/s.

BOMBSHELL - House GOP, "ACORN a Criminal Enterprise"

Listen to Rep. Steven King (R-Iowa) talk about accusations that ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform) has engaged in "fraudulent activities and widespread corruption," and how Congressional Republicans are calling for a criminal investigation into the group that has worked so hard for Democrats over the years. According to Fox News, a congressional report released just this afternoon (July 23) "offers the first detailed account of the allegations that have dogged the organization in recent months....The report accuses ACORN, after receiving more than $53 million in federal funds since 1994, of blurring the legal distinctions among 361 tax-exempt and non-exempt entities to divert that money into partisan political activities. Evidence found in the report relies in part on documents provided by former ACORN employees." Newspaper Editor Threatens Two Chicago Bloggers

ACCOSTS BLOGGERS ON STREET, YELLS: "WE'LL SUE YOU! WATCH YOUR MAILBOXES!" ALSO SEE: Newspaper Continues To Threaten Bloggers (2/14/09) We were verbally assaulted by a newspaper editor on Saturday, February 7th. In broad daylight, on a public street, by an editor. Jerk blogger Craig Gernhardt (The Broken Heart) and I were crossing the street on Saturday afternoon over in the People's Democratic Utopia of Rogers Park. We were on our way to Leona's at W. Morse and N. Sheridan to get pizza, which we both agreed is good (and the only thing on Leona's menu that doesn't suck). So much for the restaurant review. As we crossed the street, one of the editors of "The Urban Coaster" (a still-new, socialist propaganda tabloid in Rogers Park, Chicago) walked toward us. He had a mangy dog in tow. With a sneer, the editor said to us, "Well, well, I s'pose you think you're big shots now that the Reader wrote about you." The editor was referring to the Feb. 5 issue of the Chicago Reader, in which Mick Dumke wrote a great piece titled "Where Bloggers Dodge Beers." That title refers to me, when one of Alderman Joe Moore's aides threw a beer at me last summer. She threw it with such force that it destroyed my camera. So I not only have to watch my back for Joe Moore aids, I also have to worry about being verbally assaulted on the street by local tabloid editors. Tabloid editors, who, by the way, are operatives of Joe Moore. Gernhardt and I immediately got the chuckles. "When are you guys going to make your rag newspaper legitimate?" I replied. His name is Francis Scudellari, but he is also known as "Scudmissile," "Scudmuscle," "Frankie," "Scuddles," and words that I won't include here because this is, after all, a family-oriented website. Frankie was flustered. First time I've ever seen him flustered, to be honest, and he was shaking. I've seen him angry before, but to his credit he kept his composure at those moments. "What does that mean?" he said, feigning ignorance. "Your check to the Secretary of State bounced," I guffawed, "you call yourselves incorporated but you're not!" "Hey Frankie," said Gernhard said, laughing, "has your paper gone union yet?" The pasty Scuddlebuttliari went pale, more pale than usual, and his quivering lip threatened to cause his entire head to dislodge. He looked a bit woozy, but managed to raise his voice in a heroic effort. "We'll sue you!" This, of course, only caused us to laugh harder. You know how your cheeks hurt when you laugh really hard, and your eyes kind of tear up a little? Yah, that's what it was. But over our laughter we heard Scudloogy advise us, "YOU BETTER CHECK YOUR MAILBOXES!" For a moment, his pasty face flushed bright red. I couldn't swear to it, but I thought I saw spittle fly from his mouth, over that quivering lower lip, as he said "mailboxes." It was probably the "oxes" part of the word, with that k-s-s combination. It his flustered state, he may have been salivating heavily and so that could have caused a higher than normal amount of liquid to build up in his mouth, which could have been what I thought I saw being propelled from just above that lip. Try it yourself; save up a bunch of spit in your mouth, then try screaming "MAILBOXES." The mangy dog figured he'd heard enough and was, frankly, embarassed by all of this, so Mr. Dog pulled Scudlarian northward, away from us, to a quieter place more suitable to relieving himself. Scudellari is one of three editors/partners of "The Urban Coaster." They refer to themselves in the paper as "The Urban Coaster, Inc." but that is not accurate. You see, not only are they not incorporated, the Illinois Secretary of State's website shows that the check they sent in with their filing papers bounced. That's right, their check bounced. They are not in good standing with the State of Illinois, and to call yourself a corporation when in fact you are not is a violation of state law. (Go here http://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/ and search for "The Urban Coaster" and also see "Merchant Alert for Chicago's North Side") In case you haven't guessed yet, there is an animosity between Scudlamander and Gernhardt and me. That is, Scudiarity can't stand either of us. That's only fair play, though, because we're none too fond of him, nor of his pathetic newspaper, "The Urban Coaster." The Urban Coaster is not the first failed venture in which he has joined Westgard and Ginderske. One was the failed "Ginderske 2007" aldermanic campaign. The other was the "Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park." (See "NHRP: Ginderske's Sham Organization" and "Smells Like Ginderske") Why does Scudlemon dislike us so much? Well, isn't it obvious? It's because of posts such as this one, which Gernhardt and I do often. He and I enjoy exposing the dishonest, lying, deceitful misreprentation perpetrated by Scudmingdynasty and his partners in slime. There you go. No mystery, really. Vampires hate it when you shine light on them. Scudlinguini is wrong about our feelings about the Reader article. Gernhardt and I are accustomed to being interviewed in print and on the radio, and the Reader article about us didn't even merit a part of our own conversation up to the point that Mr. Scuddlebutt, in a pique of self-loathing, decided he should belittle us for it. I've been the subject of newspaper articles local and national since February 1976, have written newspaper articles, and had my own radio show in the early 1980's. Gernhardt has been written about many times as well. Scudelingus thinks a small mention in the Chicago Reader makes us feel like big shots? Not hardly. I've turned down more interview requests than I have ever accepted, and I'm sure that's true for Gernhardt as well. I am reminded of a "Soprano's" episode in which the mobster Christopher was mentioned in a newspaper article that named him as being under criminal investigation. Christopher ran out to the nearest newspaper box, put coins into it, and pulled out all of the papers. Unlike Christopher in the Sopranos, however, Scudelarrium wants to put all those Chicago Readers back into their boxes. Merchant Alert for Chicago's North Side

Merchants on the Chicago's North Side need to be alert to "The Urban Coaster," an organization that has been falsely passing itself off as a legitimately incorporated entity. Their incorporation is invalid with the Illinois Secretary of State because the check they sent for fees bounced. The three principals of the operation, pictured here, are Jim Ginderske, Francis Scudellari and Tom Westgard, all residents of Rogers Park. The three were involved in a sham operation last year called "Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park (NHRP)," which passed itself off as a legitimate non-profit organization. NHRP's incorporation was dissolved by the State of Illinois for failure to file required information documents. The men pictured here may approach you to sell you advertising for their "newspaper." However, others connected to "The Urban Coaster" might approach you, too. Insist that they show you their incorporation papers or proof that they are a legitimately registered organization before you sign any contracts or make any agreements with them, verbal or written. To file a complaint against "The Urban Coaster," get the complaint form (PDF) from the Illinois Attorney General's office or call the Better Business Bureau at 800-500-3780 . Please warn fellow merchants about "The Urban Coaster."

Ginderske Violating State Law

In Illinois, you cannot call yourself "Inc." unless you're actually incorporated. Jim Ginderske's "Urban Coaster" publication has a twin web site by the same name, both called "The Urban Coaster, Inc." The "Inc." part of the name is illegal, plain and simple, because their filing fee check bounced. Merchants who advertise in The Urban Coaster should know that they are dealing with a company that is misrepresenting their legal status. The Urban Coaster is not incorporated in the State of Illinois. Complaints can be filed with the Better Business Bureau at 800-500-3780 or the Illinois Attorney General (see info below). Illinois law states that "Any corporation which (i) puts forth any sign or advertisement, assuming any name other than that by which it is incorporated or otherwise authorized by law to act or (ii) violates Section 3.25, shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor and shall be deemed guilty of an additional offense for each day it shall continue to so offend." (Source: Illinois General Assembly web site; see "Article 16 - Penalties".) "The Urban Coaster" is not incorporated, so it is misrepresenting itself with a name ("The Urban Coaster, Inc.") that is not "authorized by law." The Urban Coaster has been in violation for at least 16 days by calling themselves "Inc." in both their online and print versions. The graphics people at Urban Coaster seem to have an obsession with dead fish. Perhaps it's a Freudian admission that the operation is fishy. As noted here on December 31, Jim Ginderske and partners Thomas J. Westgard and Francis Scudellari are presenting their latest venture, "The Urban Coaster," as a legit organization. It's not. They call themselves "The Urban Coaster, Inc." but in fact they are not incorporated - not in Illinois anyway. As of January 2, 2009, their print version still said "Urban Coaster, Inc." in the masthead, and their web site said it on the lower left hand corner of their home page. Are they incorporated in another state? If so, we demand to see their incorporation papers. Their check for filing fees to the State of Illinois bounced, voiding their application. Additionally, their filing papers falsely list the address of Thomas J. Westgard, partner in The Urban Coaster, as 6970 N. Sheridan Road, Unit C. In fact, that storefront is vacant as confirmed by building management. Don't believe me? Click here to see the filing papers (or see the documents for yourself and see the Illinois Secretary of State's web site. To file a complaint against The Urban Coaster, get the complaint form (PDF) from the Illinois Attorney General's office here. Please let merchants who advertise with "The Urban Coaster" know that they are dealing with an organization that is misrepresenting its legal status.

Another Sham Ginderske Organization (Updated)

Another fraudulent organization is trying to pull the wool over your eyes, and again it's in Rogers Park. You'd think these dunces would learn. Again, it's Jim Ginderske and friends, with yet another sham organization. This time, it's his new "Urban Coaster," a web site with a twin dead-tree version.

Jim Ginderske, failed aldermanic candidate in 2007 in Chicago's 49th Ward has a history of deception. First, he lied during the aldermanic run-off election in March and April of 2007 by telling former supporters that he was not supporting Joe Moore. He did. Then, in mid-2008, Ginderske and company were exposed for operating a sham organization; his "Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park" (NHRP) was dissolved by the State of Illinois for not filing the proper papers. That did not stop Ginderske from publicly presenting his NHRP as a legitimate non-profit organization. It wasn't. Now, they are presenting their latest venture, "The Urban Coaster," as a legit organization. It's not. They call themselves "The Urban Coaster, Inc.," but in fact they are not incorporated, not in Illinois anyway. See, their check for filing fees to the State of Illinois bounced. Yup, bounced. Like rubber. Additionally, their filing papers falsely list the address of Thomas J. Westgard, partner in The Urban Coaster, as 6970 N. Sheridan Road, Unit C. In fact, that storefront is vacant. This was confirmed by building management.

Don't believe me? Click here to see the filing papers (or see the documents for yourself and see the Illinois Secretary of State's web site. Ginderske hopes to be elected to something someday, yet he can't oversee tiny organizations well enough to make sure they file annual reports or send valid checks to the Illinois Secretary of State. Now, if Ginderske is that inept, that careless, and that willing to lie about the validity of his sham organizations, how effective would he be as an elected official?

Marathon Pundit's Take on Obama & Sunset Equities

CHICAGO - Marathon Pundit (a.k.a. John Ruberry) is following the connection between Barack Obama and the recent, catastrophic demise of Sunrise Equities. At least 150 mostly-Muslim investors have been financially ruined by Sunrise's CEO Salman Ibrahim and other officers, and the connections between them and Obama are intriguing if not disturbing. Sincere thanks to John for picking up the ball and running with it. His report: Sunrise Equities and Obama - Just a few miles south of where I live is a thriving Pakistani and Indo-American community centered around Devon Avenue on Chicago's North Side. Dozens of family owned businesses rake in lots of cash--Mrs. Marathon Pundit bought some things on Devon--and some of that money ended up in the hands of Sunrise Equities CEO Salman Ibrahim. MORE...

Obama's Broken Promise

When are people going to wake up and realize that Barack Obama is just another tool of Mayor Daley's Chicago Machine? "Change?" About the only change Obama has brought us is his rapid-fire change of position on important issues. This story, however, is about the party hack Barack Obama, $100,000 of taxpayer money he grabbed, and the shattered promise he made to the folks in Englewood. From the Sun-Times today: As a state senator, Barack Obama gave $100,000 in state money to a campaign volunteer who failed to deliver on a plan to create a botanic garden in one of Chicago's most blighted neighborhoods. Obama -- who was running for Congress when he announced the project in 2000 -- said the green space in Englewood would build ''a sense of neighborhood pride." Instead, what was supposed to be a six-block stretch of trees and paths is now a field of unfulfilled dreams, strewn with weeds, garbage and broken pavement. FULL STORY...

From The Far Edge of the Galaxy...

We all know that many Democrats love Barack Obama. But how many people on the Left - I mean the far-edge-of-the-galaxy Left - love him? Not many, as detailed by The Socialist Worker this week. They think he's a scoundrel and a fraud. Wow, The Socialist Worker agrees with The Bench! Obama has collected more donations from “individuals” than Clinton has, but many of these “individuals” are the same type as Clinton's: corporate management people who “bundle” their contributions with others from their firms. In fact, according to Federal Election Commission data tabulated by the Center for Responsive Politics, Clinton and Obama run first and second among Democrats and Republicans in contributions from the following industries: commercial banks, computers/Internet, education, health professionals, pharmaceuticals, and television and film. Bench Photos: Conrad Black Get 78 Months

Conrad Black, former publisher of the Chicago Sun-Times and other newspapers was convicted on multiple fraud charges today in Chicago. Marathon Pundit has the skinny, while The Bench has exclusive photos.

It was a media circus as Edward Genson, one of Black's attorneys, exited the Dirksen Federal Building in his motorized wheel chair at 1:46 p.m. today. The press chased him, but he escaped at slow speed. The Bench was there, snapping away. Enjoy (especially you , J.R.).

Military Frauds: Gutless Vermin

Federal agents are taking aim at phony war heroes who tell tall tales of battlefield valor and pin bogus medals upon their chests, the Daily News has learned. The FBI's Washington headquarters receives at least 15 tips a week about fake heroes - and most of the information comes from veterans who are furious that the scam artists are demeaning real sacrifices, said FBI Special Agent Michael Sanborn. "These guys gave their lives for their medals," he said. "These other guys bought theirs off eBay." The FBI investigates all the tips and, on average, more than a hundred each year lead to pretenders who tout their bogus heroics at Memorial Day rallies....The latest to be accused is Louis Lowell McGuinn, a 62-year-old Vietnam vet from Flushing, Queens.
