Mof Gimmers, Anti-Human Snob Who Hates Unborn Babies

3D-Babies.com
January 22, 2014 - Expecting parents can now get a life-size 3D model made of their unborn child. A new company, 3-D Babies, uses 3D/4D ultrasound images "to create a unique artistic representation of your baby using the latest computer graphics and 3D printing technology."

As "art" the fetus models are a bit tacky, in a big-eyed-children-on-black-velvet paintings way. That's just my opinion, though, and if parents want a model of their unborn child it's alright by me. There's no harm in it. Love it or hate it, you have to admit that it's an innovative way to make use of 3D printer technology.

British writer Mof Gimmers is very afraid, however. He confesses to being horrified by the 3D baby models and of the soon-to-be-born human beings that they represent. "Unborn babies and fish alike," he wrote, "are about as sentient as a Furby in a skip of emulsion." Nice, huh? No wonder Gimmers was named as one of the "100 worst people on Twitter."

"EVER looked at the world and become suddenly depressed?" wrote Gimmers in a January 21 post at Anorak with the melodramatic headline "Horrifying figurines of foetuses, now available to buy."

3D model of unborn baby by 3D-Babies
3D-Babies.com
Gimmers is revolted by unborn human beings, and that actually seems to be the root of his vile post: It's not the models that bothers him, really, its what they represent to him. He's one of those monstrous people who call the unborn "little parasites," and I'm sure he would agree that a fetus is nothing more than a "clump of cells" less deserving of respect than a spoonful of chicken broth. Fetuses are like fish, he says. I'm not sure how he sees a fish when he looks at the 3D fetus models, but his hatred and disdain of unborn children are obvious.

When Gimmers sees a fetus model, he sees viciousness, cruelty and bloodiness. Perhaps that's a Freudian expression of his guilt feelings about abortion, which he obviously supports.

In Gimmers' twisted worldview, a mother's unborn child is just a parasite sitting in a sack of its own feces, not worthy of being born - especially if its parents had a 3D model made of it. (Note: Fetuses do not defecate in the womb; there's no need. The mother digests food, not the fetus; nutrients are passed to the fetus via blood through the umbilical chord.)

Gimmers is too cowardly to use his real name. He calls himself an "anti-snob" on his Tumblr blog (which takes forever to load). However, Gimmers is a snob. "Anyone buying these," he wrote, "should have spent that money on condoms or the taxi fare to a vasectomy." Agree with me, he seems to say, or submit to sterilization.

In other words, Gimmers is saying that the child should not have been conceived because Gimmers' artistic taste differs from that of the parents. Gimmers is unable to recognize that calling happy, expecting parents who are eager to "see" their unborn child "gruesome womb-botherers" is the height of snobbery. Indeed, his entire article is an elitist, snobbish demand that people who have different tastes in art be disallowed from reproducing. Pray that Gimmers never becomes Minister of Eugenics.

Gimmers and creeps like him must recoil in fear and disgust when they see a pregnant woman. A psychologically healthy person would see the beauty of a mother-to-be. Not Gimmers' crowd. They see a woman victimized by an ugly fish-like parasite lurking inside of her body. What must they think of a newborn child, freshly out of the womb, crapping all over itself and still dependent on its parents for food and safety?

Netanyahu's Clear Red Line Reinterpreted

UN Photo/J Carrier
Oct. 1, 2012 - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held up a cartoonish drawing of a bomb last Thursday during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly.

He was making a point: Iran's nuclear program is dangerously close to being capable of producing a nuclear weapon.

‘How much enriched uranium do you need for a bomb? And how close is Iran to getting it?’’ Netanyahu asked rhetorically. ‘‘Well, let me show you. I brought a diagram.’’

Netanyahu held up the drawing of a bomb with a lit fuse, and with a red marker he drew a "clear red line" through the bomb to indicate "the threshold that Iran was approaching and that Israel could not tolerate — 90 percent of the way," reported The Associated Press, "to the uranium enrichment needed to make a nuclear weapon."

Another interpretation, by Chicago News Bench
Chicago News Bench's own interpretation of Netanyahu's cartoon bomb is pictured below. We replaced the original bomb with the Danish cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed.

Why? Actually, we meant no disrespect to non-violent Muslims by that. What we did mean is that, although he did not say it, Netanyahu and his advisors undoubtedly know that the Iranian bomb is an Islamic bomb.

Netanyahu is not simply up against the threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon - he is trying to ward of the threat of an Islamic nuclear weapon. By that we simply mean that Iran, by way its nutjob President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has publicly and repeatedly said that the Jewish nation of Israel must be "eliminated." The reasons for that, as given by Ahmadinejad or his Iranian colleagues, is always based in their interpretation of Islam.

"Note that word—'eliminated'," wrote The Wall Street Journal on Sept. 25. "When Iranians talk about Israel, this intention of a final solution keeps coming up. In October 2005, Mr. Ahmadinejad, quoting the Ayatollah Khomeini, said Israel 'must be wiped off the map.' Lest anyone miss the point, the Iranian President said in June 2008 that Israel "has reached the end of its function and will soon disappear off the geographical domain."

Some are calling it "The Bibi Bomb" or "Bibi's Bomb" after Netanyahu's nickname. It has its own hashtag on Twitter, too: #bibibomb.

Whether or not the presentation was effective is a subject of much debate.

I'd say it was very effective, if only because it caused a lot of people to discuss the matter who might not have without the stunt.

Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon felt the same way . He told Israel’s Channel 2 TV that the resulting jokes about the cartoon bomb ‘‘are maybe part of the success because it was an unforgettable speech that delivered its message,’’ and, ‘‘Today everyone is talking about it.’’

Fascist Hipster in the First Ward

Joe Moreno, Fascist Alderman:
He's a hipster, ya know. But Chicago's 1st Ward Alderman Proco Joe Moreno is also a tyrant who does not respect the constitutions of either the United States or Illinois.

His hatred for Chick-fil-A has made him power mad. He has admitted - not in so many words - that he is willing to violate human rights by using his position of influence on Chicago's to stifle freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

This is an issue that should not die. No elected official should get away with what this petty tyrant is doing. We promised more about this, and there will be more  tomorrow.

Chicago Alderman Proco "Joe" Moreno is the petty dictator who says he will deny a Chick-fil-A franchise to open in his 1st Ward ... because the company's CEO had the nerve to exercise his First Amendment rights by saying that he personally opposes gay marriage.

Later this week, Chicago News Bench will look at Moreno's own admission that he is willing to violate both the Illinois Constitution and the U.S. Constitution.

Of course, we'll have some more graphics like this one just to piss him - and a few other progressive fascists - off. Saul Alinksy would approve.

To the Liberals who object to the image of Moreno-as-Nazi I say, "fear no art" and consider this brilliant observation...

"Parody, irony, and humor are some of the most powerful weapons against established authority, especially the despotic kind. It is why Socrates was sentenced to death; it is why Voltaire’s criticism of the French absolutist monarchy was so disruptive that he was exiled from Paris; it is why Ecuadorean president Rafael Correa, who hypocritically just granted asylum to Julian Assange, sued a journalist and newspaper for $42 million for a column that made fun of him as a tyrant; it is why Hugo Chavez in Venezuela extended the contempt laws to make it a crime to disrespect him, leading to investigations of cartoonists; it is why Manal Al- Sharif fears for her life in Saudi Arabia for driving a car and challenging the ban on female drivers; it is why Ai Weiwei is hit with trumped up tax-evasion charges after mocking China’s dictatorship, and why Aung San Suu Kyi was held under house arrest by the Burmese military junta until just recently.  The despotic mind is utterly undone and downright defenseless in the face of creative dissent."  ~ Thor Halvorssen, forbes.com, August 17, 2012

Chicago Aldermen As Nazis, #3 In Series

Why would we do something as sophomoric as make Chicago aldermen look like Nazis? Click image to enlarge it. Because, mainly, these sophomoric assdips called everybody who supports Arizona's SB 1070 immigration law "Nazis," or remained silent while other did so during the debate of the Chicago City Council's resolution to condemn that state for having the gaul to enforce existing federal laws. I also do it because I enjoy shoving Alinsky tactics up their Marxist arses. It's always fun to watch Democrats such as these fly into hissy fits when the kind of mockery that their camp has heaped on the Right for decades is heaped right back on them. "Fear no art," they say, but hypocrites fear this, and this is art whether you fear it or not. As Saul Alinsky wrote in his Rules For Radicals, "Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon." I say fight ridicule with ridicule. The resolution was sponsored by four Latino aldermen: George Cardenas (12th Ward), Ariel Reboyras (30th), Ray Suarez (31st) and Ricardo Munoz (22nd). Although the Arizona law applies equally to any illegal alien no matter what their race, enthnicity or national origin, these little hitlers did their Democrat best to make it a race issue. All four said that SB 1070 was an attack on Latinos (in fact, it's not an "attack" on any ethnic group but, instead, a strong response to people who have violated U.S. federal laws). The most aggregious insult to Arizona came from Danny Solis, 25th Ward, who acted as the loudmouthed pitbull for the four sponsors, making the Nazi comparison for them. The Sun-Times reported that "They likened the Arizona law to the progressive denial of civil liberties that preceded Adolf Hitler’s 'final solution': the extermination of six million Jews in concentration camps." They may not have used the word "Nazi," but it's hard to miss the direct comparison there. Like Ald. Solis (right), the four sponsors either did not read Arizona's SB1070 or chose to deliberately lie about it - or both. Chicago Aldermen As Nazis, #2 In Series

"In the early stages of Nazi Germany, there was a law that identified particular groups of people. This law has identified a particular group of people. This law is evil.” ~ Chicago Alderman Danny Solis, 25th Ward, June 9, 2010. The "evil" law that Solis referred to: Arizona's SB1070 immigration law. Solis is apparently unaware that Chicago's handgun ban is infinitely more akin to the "early stages of Nazi Germany" than Arizona's SB1070. In fact, SB1070 only directs Arizona law enforcement to make use of existing federal laws that are not currently being enforced by the federal government. While Solis and his cohorts on the City Council dare to call those of us who want to see our border actually be a border, and to eject trespassers, he and his fellow liberals in Chicago's city government violate our constitutional right to possess handguns - in a very Nazi-like way. There are some who falsely believe that Hitler did not ban handguns because, they say, such a ban was already in place before Hitler's rose to power. That's not exactly true, for it ignores the Third Reich's 1938 German Weapons Act. In the 'Reichsgesetzblatt' issue for the week of March 21, 1938, was the official text of the Weapons Law (March 18, 1938). It gave Hitler's Nazi party a stranglehold on the Germans, many of whom did not support the Nazis. We found that the Nazis did not invent "gun control" in Germany. The Nazis inherited gun control and then perfected it: they invented handgun control. Source: Jews For the Preservation of Firearms The 1938 German Weapons Act, the precursor of the current weapons law, superseded the 1928 law. As under the 1928 law, citizens were required to have a permit to carry a firearm and a separate permit to acquire a firearm. Furthermore, the law restricted ownership of firearms to "...persons whose trustworthiness is not in question and who can show a need for a gun permit," says servinghistory.com. "Gun restriction laws applied only to handguns, not to long guns or ammunition. Writes Prof. Bernard Harcourt of the University of Chicago, 'The 1938 revisions completely deregulated the acquisition and transfer of rifles and shotguns, as well as ammunition'." Hitler once said, "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing." (From Hitler's Secret Conversations; Norman Cameron and R. H. Stevenstrans., 1961) Source: Stephen P. Halbrook, Ph.D. Hitler signed the 1938 German Weapons Act. The Gestapo enforced it. Today, American liberals, "progressives" and Democrats enforce very similar laws in this country. Also See: Chicago City Aldermen As Nazis, #1 and Chicago Aldermen As Nazis, #3 In Series

Images of Democrats as Nazis (Is It Wrong?)

Ask yourself this: How many times have you ever heard a Democrat express disgust at all of those Bush-as-Hitler images for past nine years? Uh huh, never, that's how many. They thought that was pretty funny. Now, they're upset when we conservatives give their images the same threatment. The tables have turned, as pointed out by Gregory Dail, who notes that Democrats are now targets of such manipulated photo treatment, and he cited the image on the right as an example. The image to the left has been floating around the web for years. They are both made from the same original photo of Hitler. The one with Obama is, frankly, the work of a rank amateur. Even so, it conveys a powerful message. (Click images to enlarge) This type of image manipulation is nothing new, of course, so I'm not sure why Dail seems to think it is. Nevertheless, his article is interesting and worth reading. Dail wrote: Obama’s Hitler like use of SEIU to suppress freedom of speech at town meetings dealing with health care reform has spawned a new wave of internet photos. Pelosi’s outrageous comment about “swastikas” has fueled the comparison of the Obama’s administration to that of Hitler’s. Full Post at Examiner.com... I have been creating and posting Nazified Democrat photos on this blog for years, a few of which are shown in this post. Nancy Pelosi is a favorite subject. Two examples of her after my manipulation are shown at the right. I use Corel's Paint Shop Pro Photo XI for this work, which far easier and less expensive than Adobe's Photoshop. Other examples of my photo manipulation include a Nazified Alderman Joe Moore of Chicago, for example (below right), and co-conspirator David Fagus, 49th Ward Democrat Committeeman (left). The Left's Shameful Slurring of Monkey Cartoonist

Racist caricature of Condi Rice,
as found on many left websites
For eight years, the left has portrayed Condi Rice in racist and sexist graphics. Now, leftists are angry about a cartoon that mocks Obama – who they wrongly think is the main author of the Stimulus Bill.

The shameful attacks on New York Post cartoonist Sean Delonas continue. It is fed only by ignorance and a hypocritical effort by the Left to portray opponents to Barack Obama's economic policies as racists. To the Left, anybody who disagrees with them about nearly anything is a "racist" or "Nazi.")

The cartoon in question shows two cops standing over a chimpanzee that has been shot dead.

Sean Delonas cartoon cops shoot monkey
The Sean Delonas cartoon that riled the Left
One cop says to the other, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next Stimulus Bill" as smoke comes from his pistol. The poor ape lays dead, riddled with bullet holes.

Ignorant people nationwide jumped to the wrong conclusion that Delonas's cartoon was portraying Barack Obama as a chimp (many incorrectly say "monkey").

Among those idiots is Julian Sancton, who wrote about the cartoon in a slanderous article at Vanity Fair. That article was titled "Sean Delonas: Stupid, Racist, or Both?"

In his article, Sancton wrote, "I'm struggling to find an interpretation of this that doesn't odiously compare Obama, who just signed the stimulus bill yesterday, to a monkey, resorting to one of the most wretched racist stereotypes."

But Sancton is the one who is stupid. He himself noted that Obama signed the bill. Obama did not write the bill; somebody else did. It's important to note that the cartoon cop says "They'll have to find someone else to write the next Stimulus Bill." He did NOT say "someone else to sign the next Stimulus Bill." That's important, and that's why the Delonas detractors are all stupidly wrong.

Again: Obama did not write the Stimulus Bill. Who did?
White guy David Obey (D-WI) is the bill's primary author.

As the New York Times pointed out, "Indeed, it was Mr. Obey, the third-most-senior member of the House, who, in large measure, shaped the bill, in concert with other House Democratic leaders."

So, if the cartoon compares anybody to the author of the Stimulus Bill, it's David Obey and/or "House Democratic leaders" collectively, not Barack Obama.

I wrote about this on Wednesday ("Obama Not Monkey Who Wrote Stimulus").

"One of the most wretched
racist stereotypes," unless
it's done it to a white guy
Is it not also racist to portray a white guy as a chimp? It's been done thousands of times to George W. Bush. Why is it only black people who can scream racism? We're all apes, right?

Today, I received a hysterical (as in panicked, not funny) email from a woman who lives on Chicago's north side (we'll call her "X").

She's a serial emailer, a social justice warrior, and an idiot. She loves to send and forward mass emails. I usually read them, then delete them after a good chuckle. But not this time.

Today's email from "X" was a forwarding of an ignorant rant from "colorofchange.org," and it moved me to respond "to all" with an explanation as to why they are so obviously wrong about the wrongly infamous cartoon.

The full text of X's email and my response are below; only names and email addresses have been removed. I have also inserted my notesGraphics here were added by me for this post and were not included in my correspondence with "X." Excerpts from X's email appear below as indented blockquotes in italics.

As you read the letter from "X," ask yourself why she and others did not protest when their fellow Liberals depicted Condoleezza Rice and other African-Americans in racist ways.
Dear X,
I respectfully disagree with you. Although I agree that portraying a black person as an ape or a monkey is just wrong, the cartoon in question simply did not do so. Here's why:
The cartoon says that they'll have to find someone else to write the next Stimulus Bill.

Well guess what - Barack Obama may have signed it, but he did NOT write it. Rep. David Obey of Wisconsin, a white guy, is credited as the primary author. Others contributed to the writing of it. So if anybody could be seen as being compared to a monkey or ape, it would be the white man David Obey.

That being said, the cartoonist made no reference to Barack Obama. The implication of the cartoon is that even a chimpanzee could have written the bill, a commentary on the quality of the legislation. You can disagree with that; perhaps you like putting the nation into debt for a trillion dollars. That's not the point. The point is that there was nothing racist about that cartoon.

Only an ignorance of who actually wrote the bill - and of who did not - could lead one to panic and assume (incorrectly) that it was Barack Obama.
X, where were you when Condaleezza Rice was being portrayed by the Left in vicious, racist cartoons and photo manipulation? There seems to be a hypocrisy here, and an overblown one at that.

To those who disagree with me, I ask you: Who do you think wrote the Stimulus Bill? After you search for yourself and discover that it was not Mr. Obama, will you send around an email apologizing for the libeling of a cartoonist who is innocent of your charges?
Respectfully, Chicago News Bench
On Thursday, 2/19/09, X wrote:

Yesterday, the day after President Obama signed the stimulus bill, his first major piece of legislation, the New York Post ran a cartoon depicting the bill's author as a dead monkey, covered in blood after being shot by police.
Another racist depiction of
Condi Rice by Democrats
MY NOTE: This was not Obama's "piece of legislation," as the New York Times explains. He signed it, but he did not write it. In the face of intense criticism, The Post's editor is standing by the cartoon, claiming it has no racial undertones, that it's not about Obama, and that it was simply referencing an incident earlier this week when police shot a pet chimpanzee (an argument that pundits and analysts simply aren't buying).

MY NOTE: SOME pundits and analysts aren't buying it, but plenty of others are. It's impossible to believe that any newspaper editor could be ignorant enough to not understand how this cartoon evokes a history of racist symbolism, or how frightening this image feels at a time when death threats against President Obama have been on the rise.

MY NOTE: It's difficult to believe that people can be so ignorant as to who actually wrote - and did not write - the Stimulus Bill. Notice that "X" offers no substantiation of her claim that death threats against Obama are "on the rise."
Please join us in demanding that The Post apologize publicly and fire the editor who allowed this cartoon to go to print: The Post would have us believe that the cartoon is not about Obama. But on the page just before the cartoon appears, there's a big picture of Obama signing the stimulus bill.
NOTE: The cartoon is NOT about Obama. See above. A reader paging through The Post would see Obama putting pen to paper, then turn the page to see this violent cartoon. The imagery is chilling.

NOTE: An ignorant reader who is unaware that Obama did not personally write the Stimulus Bill.
There is a clear history in our country of racist symbolism that depicts Black people as apes or monkeys, and it came up multiple times during the presidential campaign. We're also in a time of increased race-based violence. In the months following President Obama's election there has been a nationwide surge in hate crimes ranging from vandalism to assaults to arson on Black churches.
There has been an unprecedented number of threats gainst [sic] President Obama since he was elected, with hate-based groups fantasizing about the killing of the president. Just a week ago, a man drove from Louisiana to the Capitol with a rifle, telling the police who stopped him that he had a "delivery" for the president.
NOTE: Today's young black males kill more young black males in a year than the Ku Klux Klan killed in its entire history. Between 1882 and 1968, historians have documented more than 4,700 lynchings of African Americans, mostly in the South.

In 2005, the latest full year of FBI statistics, almost 8,000 black Americans were murdered, mostly by other black Americans. I lost count years ago as to how many times I heard Liberals tell me they'd love to shoot Dick Cheney or George W. Bush. But I guess it doesn't count as hateful if the threat is made against white men, particularly Republican white men.
There is no excuse for The Post to have allowed this cartoon to be printed, and even less for Editor Col Allan's outright dismissal of legitimate concerns.
NOTE: There is no excuse for your vile lies about this cartoon, or your defamation of a cartoonist, based on your ignorance of who authored the Stimulus Bill.
But let's be clear about who's behind The Post: Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch, the Post's owner, is the man behind FOX News Channel. FOX has continually attacked and denigrated Black people, politicians, and institutions at every opportunity, and we've run several campaigns to make clear how FOX poisons public debate.
NOTE: Let's be clear about who is behind the slanderous, libelous email. It's ignorant, race-baiting, hateful Leftists who don't care about the truth and are willing to crucify an innocent cartoonist just to score political points.
We don't expect much from Murdoch. However, with enough public pressure we can set the stage for advertisers and subscribers to think long and hard before patronizing outlets like the Post that refuse to be held accountable.
NOTE: I urge anybody interested in truth and justice to contact ColorOfChange.org and ask them why they are so ignorant about who wrote the Stimulus Bill and are so willing to defame the New York Post cartoonist.

Obama Not Monkey Who Wrote Stimulus

The race-baiting Left is wrongly accusing a cartoonist of racist intentions by claiming that his New York Post cartoon today portrays Barack Obama as a chimpanzee. (It doesn't.) They are wrong, as usual, seeing racism where none exists or was intended.

The cartoon, by Sean Delonas, shows two cops standing over a chimp that has been shot dead. One cop says to the other, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill" as smoke comes from his pistol.

Here's why the leftist indignation is all wrong:

  1. Barack Obama is not mentioned or alluded to in the cartoon;
  2. Barack Obama is not the author of the stimulus bill - Rep. David Obey (D-WI) is the main author. Obey is not African-American;
  3. The cartoon portrays a chimp shot dead by cops to tie into another news story today about a woman whose pet chimpanzee was taken down by police as it was trying to kill her.

I altered the Delonas cartoon (below) to make a point in his defense.

Imagine, as I show in the altered version, that instead of "stimulus bill" it said "foie gras ordinance." Alderman Joe Moore, the author of Chicago's much-ridiculed and now-defunct anti-foie gras law, is a white man.

Would we assume, then, from my altered version that comparing Moore to a chimp is racist?

Of course not. Why, then, is Delonas' actual cartoon considered racist, when it alludes to white man David Obey, who is the main author of the Stimulus Bill? (Answer: Leftists are paranoid liars, always eager to slap the "racist" label on somebody simply for disagreeing with them.)

Whatever happened to the liberal mantra "Fear No Art?" A lot of liberals are soiling their pants today over a piece of art, a cartoon, that they insanely think portrays Barack Obama as an ape or monkey. I understand the sensitivity of some black people as pertains to the images of monkeys and apes, but to see racism in a depiction of a chimpanzee when none is implied or intended is just lunacy.

As the New York Times pointed out, "Indeed, it was Mr. Obey, the third-most-senior member of the House, who, in large measure, shaped the bill, in concert with other House Democratic leaders." So, if the cartoon compares anybody to the author of the stimulus bill, it's Obey or "House Democratic leaders" collectively, not Barack Obama.

That's not stopping the looney left from blowing this out of proportion. One example is this idiotic piece at the Huffington Post today: The drawing, from famed cartoonist Sean Delonas, seems rife with racial and political sensitivities. In it, two befuddled-looking police officers holding guns look over the dead and bleeding chimpanzee that attacked a woman in Stamford, Connecticut. (Source)

How is the cartoon "rife with racial...sensitivities?" (As for "political sensitivities," sure. But that's what a good political cartoon should strike at. It's the whole point.) As already pointed out, stimulus bill author David Obey is a white guy.

Only the ignorant would think the cartoon targets Obama, a white man with black ancestory. The cartoonist is clearly implying that the author of the stimulus bill is as smart as a chimp. There is no racist implications to be seen in the cartoon, unless your vision has been blurred by leftist paranoia and hypersensitivity. To accuse cartoonist Sean Delonas of being racist is itself racist based on a false assumption.

Hitler's Unholy Spirit Rises

"It is not unthinkable that the future of the Turkish Jewish community is in doubt." As noted here previously, and by hundreds of others recently, violent anti-Semitism is rampant around the globe. It's been hitting hard in Europe since the outbreak of the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza (but it's always bubbling under the surface to some degree or another). It's getting so bad in Europe and Turkey lately that there are worldwide alerts for violence against Jews, and North America is by no means exempt. Indeed, in Chicago and other U.S. cities, there has been a recent outbreak of anti-Jewish vandalism. The anti-Semitic attacks go beyond criticizing Israel for its actions in Gaza. To criticize a nation for its military actions is legitimate. To violently attack people, however, simply because they share the dominant ethnic or religious characteristics of that nation is not legitimate. Imagine threatening all Muslims and burning mosques worldwide for the actions of al-Qaeda. That would be insane, wrong, stupid. Yet, that is exactly the kind of hate-driven violence now being perpetrated against Jewish people and institutions all over the world. A January 12, 2009 report at Market Watch notes this: Assaults against Jews in communities around the world are on the rise. In Europe, Jews have been threatened and beaten on the street and synagogues firebombed. "Jews to the gas chambers" has been chanted at anti-Israel demonstrations in Europe and similar calls for death to Jews have been heard across the Arab and Muslim world. Newspapers in the Arab world and in Latin America have published pieces making blatant comparisons between Israel and the Nazis' perpetration of the Holocaust. One newspaper in Qatar ran an article noting that all Jews bear responsibility for what is happening in Gaza. Caricatures that depict Israelis as Nazis are appearing daily in the Arab press, in Latin American and even in some mainstream European newspapers. (Source) The report goes on to note a sick irony: Among the most prevalent expressions of anti-Semitic hate speech is equating Israel with the Nazi regime. The widespread Holocaust and Nazi analogies employed at global demonstrations go well beyond legitimate criticism of Israel into outright anti-Semitism. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has a slideshow of anti-Semitic cartoons from Arab publications, with a related article about "Nazi Imagery, Anti-Semitism Rampant In Arab Media As Gaza Crisis Unfolds." Turkey is one of the hottest places for anti-Semitism at the moment. Not Arab but mostly Muslim, Turkey is a schizophrenic case of secularism-coddling-sectarianism-tolerating-secularism. Officially a friend of Israel, they are also an ally of Iran. The country literally stradles Europe and near-west Asia, perched just above Syria, bordering northwestern Iraq, and just east of Greece. I am certainly not saying that the average Turk is anti-Semitic. Certainly not all are, and the government is at least taken steps to protect Jewish places such as synagogues. But the growing violence in Turkey, Europe and America against ordinary Jews who have nothing to do with Israel's war with Hamas is a fact. Fear No Art: Joe Moore Boozing

Hey, it was funny when somebody put Gov. Palin's face on the woman drinking wine. To be fair and balanced, you should think Alderman Joe Moore's face on the same body is funny, too. Right? Remember, people, "fear no art."

Fear No Art: Joe Moore Half-Cocked

Hey, it was funny when somebody put Gov. Palin's face on the woman holding the rifle. To be fair and balanced, you should think Alderman Joe Moore's face on the same body is funny, too. Right? Remember, people, "fear no art."

"Obama Waffles" Brings Out Democrat Lunacy

FEAR NO ART (Unless You're a Liberal and the Art in Question Pokes Political Fun at You!) 1) Okay, is language a racial trait? (Answer: Nope.) 2) How about criminal activity? (Nope again.) 3) Are illegal aliens in the US all from a single ethnic or racial group? (Again, no.) Democrats love to act as if the answer to each of the above is "yes." Disagree with a lot Dems on certain issues and they instinctively call you a racist. They are obsessed with race, and so their response to concerns about legal versus illegal entry into this country is race, race, race. They disregard the fact that there are people of every ethnicity and race in this country illegally. So now, there's a big stink over a piece of non-racist political satire, which the knee-jerks are pointing at, recoiling, and shrieking "Racist! That's RACIST!!!" Some are stupid enough to believe this. Others are intentionally seizing on it, and not only lying about it, but exaggerating in order to do so. So much for the hypocritical Leftist mantra "Fear No Art." This art has them scared poopless. The item that has putty-spined Liberals so upset is the box of "Obama Waffles" shown here. The New York Times has a story that says Obama Waffles "uses racial stereotypes." The wrote that the artwork on the box shows Obama "as a racial stereotype on its front and wearing Arab-like headdress on its top flap." Huh? First of all, "Arab" is not a race, it's an ethnicity. As for the "headdress," however, well, I see a lot of black men wearing those. I see white guys wearing them too, now and then. Second, the front of the box shows Obama wearing a collared shirt and a neck tie. Gee, aren't collared shirts and neck ties European? I mean, why isn't the NY Times upset that they show Obama dressed in European garb? See, this is how screwed up Liberal thinking is. It gets you all twisted up. Liberals just love to get all in a lather when the Right pokes fun at them. They see racism where none is or is intended. They are quick to call others racists. Of course, this tactic is used only on people that the Liberals perceive as being "right wingers." Did you see that horrible depiction of US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice at the top of this post? Is that racist? In that case, the answer is clearly yes, for it is meant to demean Rice as some kind of race traitor, and is therefore based entirely on race. The Obama Waffles item, on the other hand, is not based on race at all and is not intended to be racist. Tasteless? Maybe, depending on the beholder's taste. But racist? Not even. Oh, by the way, the Condoleeza Rice thing up top is a favorite on Liberal web sites. They think it's hilarious. See, this is how screwed up Liberal thinking is. It gets you all twisted up. You can visit the fun web site of Obama Waffles for yourself. RELATED: Obama Waffles - Racist or Fair Satire?
