Rep. Melissa Bean Employing Intimidation Tactics at Meetings

Democrats are afraid of their constituents, and U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean (D-IL, 8th Cong. District) is no exception. There has been a virtual drought of Democrat town hall-style meetings this summer, due to the fact that many voters refuse to accept the lies and double talk and openly challenge the politicians. Now and then, however, a meeting can't be avoided. In this case, Bean held a public meeting at the Round Lake, Illinois Public library on Thursday, August 12. She brought special friend, dubbed "Bruno the Bone-Crusher" by Gateway Pundit. Bruno's only function, it seems, was to intimidate anyone in the room who voiced an opinion contrary to Bean's ideology. The video is priceless: Bean avoided answering questions, as usual, by telling people to call her office -- instead of simply responding to them there at the meeting. You can this behavior by Bean in another video, recorded in February, 2010. The description at YouTube says, "This video was recorded on February 27th, 2010 at a Grayslake, IL grocery store. As is very obvious, the people are rightfully angry at the Congresswoman for her unwillingness to answer questions truthfully." Who is this guy? Is he an SEIU goon? Is he ex-KGB? We don't know. If you do, please tell us, and then explain why any elected official would employ such intimidation tactics. Watch future meetings held by Bean to see if a roaming thug in the room is now standard practice. Dangerous OFA Townhall Healthcare Meeting

Exclusive: A healthcare "reform" rally on Chicago's north side today put more than 100 people in danger. (Exclusive video below.) The event, sponsored by Organizing for America (OFA) and attended by top local Democrats such as Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, Cong. Jan Schakowsky, State Sen. Heather Steans and State Rep. Greg Harris, was held at the Holiday Club, a bar at 4000 N. Sheridan Road. The front bar of the Holiday Club has a legal fire code capacity of 87, but the room was so tightly packed that people could hardly shove past each other to gobble up the free cheese and chips. That 87-person capacity is plainly posted over the bar as required by law, yet neither Holiday Club personnel nor OFA staff made any attempt to keep the crowd size within legal limits. (This is reminiscent of a rally held by 49th Ward Alderman Joe Moore in December, 2006. He bragged about have a "standing room only" crowd, a clear violation of fire code.) Shoulder to shoulder inside the Holiday Club, it was difficult for people to move. Chicago News Bench heard a number of people in attendance express concern about the safety of the room. Finally, someone called 911 (yes, it was I) and let the authorities know about the over-capacity crowd size. A police officer arrived, took one look through the door, and called for a supervisor. When the officer's supervisor came (a sergeant), Holiday Club management and OFA staff were told that many of the people would have to leave. Governor Pat Quinn and Rep. Liberal Nutjob Urges Killing Conservatives

WARNING: Violent and obscene language is contained in this post. The offensive language is in a comment that is typical of those I receive from liberals and Leftists. I have left the foul language intact as a demonstration of how mentally disturbed so many of Barack Obama's followers truly are.

We've heard plenty of Democrats and liberals accuse Obamacare opponents of thuggery, violence and so on. Lies, of course. There is plenty of video out there that proves that the Leftists are the real thugs. One of those videos, "Liberals Look for a Fight at Schakowsky Town Hall, August 31, 2009" (see here or watch below) was made by me and posted to YouTube.

Some jackass liberal who calls himself "kapcommusic40" left two vile comments on the video at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 19:

"Come on down to the cities and talk that trash you cocksucker. All of you pieces of shit are in some bumfuck tiny town. I would love to see you teabaggers come talk some shit in urban America. Pussy ass bitches."


Let's put that into perspective, shall we? The video that this moron commented on is about an event that happened in Skokie, Illinois, which is about a ten minute drive north of Chicago. He apparently thinks Skokie is a rural village in the middle of corn country.

Within moments, he wrote the second message (emphasis added):

"I cannot believe you cocksuckers would stick up for some corporation before your own government. According to you teabagging faggots we should just privatize the military right? The military is government run and so are Veterans benefits. OH GOD THATS SOCIALISM. The roads you drive on, the schools your children go to. OH GOD ITS SOCIALISM. Fucking ignorant pieces of shit. Not all of us liberals hate guns. BRING IT ON BITCHES. Shoot to kill racist conservative pigs." 


More perspective: What "corporation" is he referring to? Watch the video. Nobody is sticking up for any corporation. Notice the liberal's use of the term "faggots." Notice his delusion that the video says anything about privatizing the military.

Notice the call by the liberal lunatic, the Leftist, this supporter of Barack Hussein Obama, to pick up firearms and commit murder.

August 31, 2009 - Skokie, IL - Union thugs and Democrat Party operatives did their best to provoke a fight, but the loyal opposition maintained their cool and prevailed. Over 1,000 lined up to attend the much-anticipated town hall meeting hosted by U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) at Niles West High School in the northern Chicago suburb of Skokie. Some of the pro-health care reform people, which included SEIU thugs and Democrat Party operatives, tried to incite a physical confrontation with anti-health care reform protesters after the town hall ended. The cameraman asks a string of lame questions, and the guy anti-Obamacare guy puts him squarely in his place. This version combines the entire press conference that Shiller gave immediately after the useless Chicago 2016 Olympics town hall meeting, plus the entire chase by an angry mob all the way to Shiller's car. Like many of the rowdy town hall meetings held in August, this one turned a bit crazy. No violence, but plenty of shouting - and the chasing of a Chicago City Council member from the meeting to her car. The meeting was actually held by a Chicago 2016 Olympics panel, but Alderman Helen Shiller (Helen Shiller) being pursued by screaming constituents eclipses that. While the Olympics discussion was predictable, boring and an utter waste time, the Shiller story was sensational. The vast majority of the signs in front of the meeting facility had nothing to do with the Olympics. Instead, most of those in attendance were protesting Shiller's alleged disinterest in cleaning up crime in one of the north side's most violent neighborhoods.

Of note in the video: Near the end, a large man in a light blue shirt leans into Shiller's car window. That's her son, attorney Brendan Shiller. He walks toward me and says, "You might wanna back up, you might get ran over. If I was driving I'd run somebody over."

This rivals many of the recent rowdy town hall meetings held by members of Congress in August, 2009. Two predictions: (1) This story will get big national news play on Tuesday morning, and (2) Nobody will refer to the largely liberal crowd (including a gaggle of socialists) as "Nazis" or accuse them of being unpatriotic. You know, like they've done to conservatives loudly voicing their opinions at Congressional town halls.

Anti-Eminent Domain Meeting Successful

A group of freedom loving Chicagoans met at the Lincoln Restaurant at 4008 N. Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday evening, March 11. The excellent recap was written by Ralf Seiffe – ralf29@att.net , the moderator of Tuesday night’s events provided the text of the recap and Rich Johns, another speaker, added the links. The meeting had approximately 40 people in the audience. A lively conversation followed several speakers. Also in attendance was Antoine Members, who is running for Congress in the 1st Congressional District against (Black Panther) Bobby Rush. Mr. Members is strongly anti-eminent domain. I intend to write more about this issue for a long time. I hope fellow bloggers - liberal, conservative, Left, Right, Democrat, Republican - can all agree that the abuse of eminent domain is an abuse of human rights. This issue cuts across all political lines. It's really that simple, folks. Finally, I hope that groups such as the Castle Coalition, the Save Lincoln Square folks, and the recently defeated Lawndale Coalition Recap of Chicago Town Hall Meeting on Eminent Domain Tuesday night (3-11-2008) saw another lively meeting of Chicago ’s Town Hall Conservatives at its regular monthly dinner at the Lincoln Restaurant. This month’s topic was Eminent Domain as seen from a practical, theoretical and an historic point-of-view another year after the Kelo Supreme Court decision. Three perspectives were presented by Imre Hidvegi, an owner of Chicago Soccer; John Tillman, CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute and by Ralf Seiffe, Moderator, respectively. Alderman Gene Schulter was also invited to add the government’s perspective. Unfortunately neither the Alderman nor a representative appeared; we understand that the Alderman may be suffering from a new municipal disease known by the initials “E.D.”. This topic logically follows last month’s Tax Increment Financing topic. It is related and timely because Chicago is busy with at least two large-scale municipal takings in the Lawndale neighborhood and in Lincoln Square . One of the targets is Mr. Hidvegi’s business, Chicago Soccer - www.chicagosoccer.net , a large sports retailer located on Western Avenue just north of Lawrence . He recently learned that the city was targeting his business to turn it into a parking lot in one of three plans apparently supported by the truant alderman. Mr. Hidvegi reported that he later met with city officials who were unable to tell him what his business would be provided in the plan or whether he would even own his property under the plan. It is easy to understand why he thinks the city’s plan is simply a scheme to “steal” his property. Nevertheless, a coalition has formed to challenge the city and the neighbors have derailed the city’s plans—at least temporarily. John Tillman is the CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute, a fast-rising think tank devoted to expanding liberty and free markets in the hostile environment of Illinois . - www.illinoispolicyinstitute.org . Mr. Tillman asked why ostensibly conservative politicians begin to move left soon after taking office and why leftish politicians just continue to move further left. His answer was the irresistible lobbying by those who benefit from government spending. The solution, he reported, is to add a third source of influence that operates outside of the political parties and politicians. He said it is a mistake for liberty lovers to put our faith in politicians or political parties that instead we should establish permanent support for freedom. He closed by assigning a bit of homework, asking “How can we make liberty cool?” Carl Segvich , the 11th Ward Republican Committeeman also gave an extemporaneous report on the situation in the Bridgeport neighborhood. Bruno Behrend, the WKRS radio host Monday and Friday 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM 1220 AM or anywhere at www.WKRS.com gave a stand-up on the Constitutional Convention question which will appear on the November ballot. He’s for it and has boasted he will appear at any group’s meeting to explain why. Keep that in mind when you need a dynamic speaker. The question and answer session distinguished between a “quick take” version of condemnation and the legitimate police powers of government when a property threatens the health and safety of a neighborhood. One of our first time attendees gave a report on the Lawndale situation and how it was going badly from the resident’s point of view. One other development—and potentially the most important—is the growing realization that there are many issues that are not “left” or “right” but more about us versus city hall, liberally defined.
