Abortion Kills More Black Americans Than The KKK

May 15, 2013 - The nightmarish revelations about abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell's clinic, called a "house of horrors," shook up a lot of people. Gosnell was convicted of first degree murder earlier this week for the deaths of babies born at his Philadelphia clinic.

A lot of people on the Left dismiss the Gosnell case as an aberration. It's an unusual case, they say. They continue to shrug off the reality of the abortion holocaust. Whether or not an abortion clinic is "following the rules," the fact remains that unborn children are being slaughtered daily. Few on the Left  think of abortion as murder; many don't consider an unborn person to be a person. But if were you put it to them this way, they might reconsider: Abortion is the biggest single killer of Black Americans. Bigger than the Ku Klux Klan, as we are reminded by Walter Hoye, founder and president of the Issues4Life Foundation.

Over 86 years, the Ku Klux Klan lynched 3,446 blacks – a figure matched in less than four days if tallying the number of black babies who are aborted.

Walter Hoye, founder and president of the Issues4Life Foundation, shared those statistics at a press conference on Tuesday where black clergy and other leaders gathered in response to the guilty verdict in the trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of murdering three newborn babies. 

“Right now to give some of us just a perspective of the impact of abortion on demand in the black community, according to the archives of the Tuskegee Institute, from 1882 to 1968 – 86 years – the Ku Klux Klan lynched 3,446 Negroes,” Hoye said. “While it took the Klan 86 years to accomplish this, abortion on demand in America accomplishes that is less than 4 days.” 

Hoye's numbers are based on the Guttmacher Institute's fact sheet on induced abortion in the United States. That fact feet shows that in 2008, 2.1 million abortions were performed in the U.S. Of those, 432,000 of those abortions were performed on black women. Using those figures, in three days 3,550 black babies were aborted. In four days, the total would be 4,734 aborted black babies. 

Hoye said that over 20 million of the more than 50 million abortions that have taken place since the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade ruling legalized the procedure are performed on black women. 

“Since 1973, abortion on demand in black America has taken more lives than homicides, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and HIV/AIDS combined and has become the No. 1 cause of death in the black community,” Hoye said.  Full article...

Former Guatemala Dictator Sentenced to 80 Years for Genocide, Crimes Against Humanity

May 10, 2013 - Guatemala's former leader, Efrain Rios Montt, 86, was convicted in court today on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity during the most brutal part of country's 36-year civil war. By the time that war ended in 1996, over 200,000 people were killed or "disappeared." (Some testimony highlights can be seen in the video below.)

Rios Montt came to power after a coup d'etat on March 23, 1982 "and was accused of implementing a scorched-earth policy in which troops massacred thousands of indigenous villagers thought to be helping leftist rebels," reports Straits Times. A report at BBC News says that "Rios Montt was convicted of ordering the deaths of 1,771 people of the Ixil Maya ethnic group during his time in office in 1982 and 1983."

Rios Montt was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the crime of genocide and 30 years for crimes against humanity in a sentence that was handed down on May 10, 2013 by Judge Yassmin Barrios in Guatemala City. In her decision, Barrios said Rios Montt was fully aware of plans to exterminate the indigenous Ixil population carried out by security forces under his command. The genocide conviction was the first for a current or former head of state in a national court, Human Rights Watch said.

Rios Montt still denies that he ordered any genocidal killings and claims that he did not have full control of everything that happened during the struggle.

It was the state's first official acknowledgment that genocide occurred during the bloody, 36-year civil war, something the current president, retired Gen. Otto Perez Molina, has denied. He knew about everything that was going on and he did not stop it, despite having the power to stop it from being carried out," said Presiding Judge Yassmin Barrios."Rios Montt is guilty of genocide." Homicidal Occupier Says "Kill Billionaires"

And you thought Occupiers were just a bunch of drug-addled rapists? You were wrong. Some of them openly advocate mass murder, too. They would have no problem with killing people just to further their sick agenda. That's class warfare: Literally.

Why stop with billionaires? Why not millionaires, too? Why not everyone earning over $250,000 a year? This is frightening. Russians Celebrate Birthday of Mass Murderer Stalin

Imagine, if you will, Germans celebrating Adolf Hitler's birthday by placing thousands of flowers on his grave. Of course, there is no grave for Hitler, and such a display of affection for such a monster would be considered as extremely offensive. Yet, today, in Russia, thousands gathered to celebrate the birthday of a dictator who was far more murderous, and reigned much longer, than Hitler. That would be Josef Stalin, of course. The Edmonton Journal carried this story by AFP today: Russian Communists placed 4,000 red carnations on Stalin's grave beside Kremlin walls Tuesday to celebrate what would have been the Soviet dictator's 131st birthday. Communist supporters raised 80,000 rubles (about $2,600) in a fundraising drive with the slogan "Two carnations for Comrade Stalin," organizer Igor Sergeyev told the Interfax news agency. Carrying a red flag and led by Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov, they piled the flowers beside a bust of Stalin that stands on his grave and round its neck. Imagine "Two carnations for Der Fuerher." The AFP story continued... Zyuganov on Tuesday called for the "re-Stalinization" of Russian society in an open letter to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who has frankly criticized the rights abuses of the Soviet era. The leader warned against a draft law, proposed by the presidential council for the development of civil society and human rights, which would ban the glorification of Stalinism. Full article at edmontonjournal.com... "Stalin ruled for almost 30 years," notes Radio New Zealand. "He led Russia to the status of a great power and defeated Germany in World War II. He died in 1953. Stalin was voted Russia's third most popular historical figure in a 2008 nationwide poll." What Radio New Zealand fails to point out, however, is that Russian - then the USSR - became a great power by means of brutal repression of its own people and the sometimes bloody oppression of the eastern half of Europe after WWII. While Russia was certainly an important ally in the fight against Hitler's Germany, Russia alone did not defeat Germany. Stalin was quite happy to maintain the Non-Agression Pact of 1939 with Hitler before he realized. Film 'The Soviet Story' Reveals The Horror of Communism

Once upon a time, the socialists in Europe were united. Hitler and Stalin, both socialists, were friendly toward each other. Before Hitler began his campaign of genocide, Stalin starved seven million people to death in Ukraine in the winter of 1932-33. During that genocide, Stalin exported confiscated Ukrainian wheat to Nazi Germany. Six years after the Ukraine horror, Hitler and Stalin signed a nonaggression treaty. Eventually, the eastern socialists and the western socialists of Europe split into two major camps: The Red camp and the Brown camp. The Reds were in Russia, under the hammer and sickle. The Browns were in Germany, under the swastika. Heresy? No, it's history ignored. "The Soviet Story" is a powerful film that everybody needs to watch. Released in 2008, it deserves more attention.

This is history that has been virtually purged from public school systems because it is "politically incorrect." It's disturbing, it's frightening, it is stark reality. The next time you see some ignorant fool wearing a Che Guevara tee-shirt, remember this film. The next time you hear somebody sing the praises of communism, remember this film. "Europe's bin Laden" Captured

They caught the bastard, and he will now stand trial for war crimes. Radovan Karadzic, former Bosnian Serb leader, was one of the most wanted men in the world until he was caught early this week. Accused of genocide and other major crimes against humanity, Karadzic was passing as a doctor (see before and after photos, right). The arrest was a neat police operation, and European governments are all very happy about it. This is a drama that few Americans were aware of, but is gripping to nearly all Europeans. From Der Spiegel today: Radovan Karadzic, 63, president of the Republika Srpska in Bosnia from 1992 to 1996, looked emaciated when he was arrested in Belgrade on Monday night, according to the Serb authorities. Finally, the perpetrators of one of the worst genocides in modern history will be brought to justice. Or, at least, to trial. An estimated two million people were murdered by Pol Pot and his lunatic gangs. Many folks were killed simply for being educated. "What is rotten must be removed" was a slogan of the Khmer Rouge leaders. Removed by bludgeoning, that is. The judges for the long-awaited Khmer Rouge genocide trials in Cambodia have announced that they are ready for court proceedings to start. After a six-month delay because of disagreements between Cambodian and United Nations judicial officials, the judges have settled on the ground rules for the special court. It means there should soon be official confirmation of which former Khmer Rouge leaders will face trial and what charges they will face. FULL STORY... commentary by Tom Mannis We are in the midst of Passover, a Jewish holiday whose primary celebrants tend to be mostly Democrat and Liberal. Not all, of course, but the majority are. There is current news out of Britain that schools are dropping any reference to the Holocaust of World War II. (For more on that click here.)
