EXCLUSIVE: Breitbart Website's Dishonest Use of Two Photos In Stories About Sidwell Friends School

Does anyone at Brietbart know that L.A. is not in D.C.?

Sorry Breitbart: This is NOT Sidwell Friends School.

Dec. 29, 2012 - BUSTED: Breitbart's "Big Government" website is using two photos that they present falsely as being taken at the exclusive Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., attended by the Obama daughters. In my opinion, they did this deliberately. Sadly, both photos are being reproduced by bloggers who don't know how, or are too lazy, to do a little basic research to confirm facts.

One of the photos in question was most certainly not taken at Sidwell. The other is highly suspicious. Let me explain, and keep in mind that I am a conservative blogger who doesn't like fellow conservative bloggers presenting lies, whether on purpose or through stupidity. We all make mistakes. I sure do, but I correct them when I become aware of them. I would never do what the Breitbart kiddies did here.

BAD PHOTO #1: On Dec. 23, Breitbart's "Big Government" website published a photo as part of a story about security guards at Sidwell Friends School, the private institution in Washington, D.C. that the Obama daughters attend. The article, written by someone who calls himself A.W.R. Hawkins, is titled "D.C. School Posts Job Opening For Police Officer." A photo at the top of that article shows four burly, armed guards. The photo has no caption, and no source is given.

Trouble is, the photo was actually taken in February, 2011 on the other side of the continent, in Los Angeles. The armed men are Los Angeles Unified School District police, and they were guarding Miramonte Elementary school during a protest in Los Angeles on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. Sadly, hundreds of conservative bloggers are mindlessly republishing the same photos as they follow Breitbart like zombies, telling their readers that the photo is of Sidwell Friends School.

New Rock Song Celebrates Andrew Breitbart

Oct. 13, 2012 - We all miss the late, great Andrew Breitbart. A couple of our buds over at iOwnTheWorld.com (IOTW) are responsible for a new song about Breitbart.

The song is "Breitbart Is Here," and it's a nice rock tribute to Breitbart. The song was created, produced and recorded by "Irony Curtain" (his nom de blog). IC was spurred to action by "Big Fur Hat" (another pseudonym; they hate real at IOTW). iOwnTheWorld is a very popular website of conservative commentary, incredibly brilliant visuals and some of the most wicked snark and satire on the Internet.

"Big Fur Hat asked me to write a tribute to Andrew Breitbart," wrote IC on his website. "The inspiration was a memorial gathering we attended for him in a little out-of-the-way bar in New York City."

You can hear and download "Breitbart Is Here" for free (no catch, no strings attached, no weirdness here). For the love of Andrew Breitbart, tell all of your friends about it.

What Are They Smoking at Breitbart.com?

Breitbart.com's Big Hyperbole
August 31, 2012 - I am still saddened by the passing of the great Andrew Breitbart.

I am also saddened, however, by the lowering of journalistic quality within the Breitbart online empire since we lost the Big Man.

A weird example of the lowered quality comes to us today at Breitbart's Big Hollywood site, in a post weirdly titled "Clint Eastwood's RNC Speech Schools Late Night Comics." The first line of the post is not only weird as well, but patently false.

The post was centered around Clint Eastwood's talking-to-an-empty-chair-as-Obama performance at the Republican National Convention.

For some reason, the writer wrote that "The American media was stunned last night to see the first Obama jokes ever performed on National TV."  Wait: What?!?

While the American media might have been "stunned" by Eastwood's jokes about Obama, and that's probably an overstatement, I rather doubt that they were stunned because Eastwood's were "the first Obama jokes ever performed on National TV."

The reason for that is quite simple: They were NOT the first Obama jokes ever performed on National TV, as you see by the videos here.

Maybe they don't read Politico over at Breitbart World HQ. If they did, they might have remembered a post from January, 2012 that cited a study by the Center for Media and Public Affairs.

That study indicated that “Republican presidential hopefuls accounted for five of the top ten joke targets of leading late-night TV talk show hosts in 2011.”

That's no surprise, of course, but here IS a surprise: "Still, no one bore the brunt of late-night humor more than a Democrat - President Barack Obama - who had 342 jokes made at his expense. And it was Jay Leno who had the most fun at the president’s expense, ribbing Obama more than twice as often as David Letterman."  We ALL know this to be true, yet Breitbart.com said that Eastwood's performance at the RNC included "the first Obama jokes ever performed on National TV." So I ask again: What the hell are they smoking over at Breitbart.com?

Earth to Breitbart.com: "342 jokes" made at Obama's expense in 2011 - on national television!  Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher and Jay Leno - among others - have made plenty of jokes at Obama's expense on national television over the past four years.

I don't think that any of them felt "schooled" by Eastwood's RNC performance last night.

Seriously, I'm losing patience with - and faith in - Breitbart.com and their weird exaggerations of late.

He's Everywhere: T-Shirts Proclaim 'Breitbart Is Here'

Our good friends at iOwnTheWorld.com are hawking this cool stuff, all in the memory of the late and great Andrew BreitbartThe shirts are designed by buddy Big Fur Hat of iOwnTheWorld, where you can read more about these Breitbart shirts. The Washington Times picked up the story, too. Lying Liars: Alex Jones, Jerome Corsi Say Breitbart’s Last Contact Was With Sheriff Joe Arpaio

March 5, 2012 - Alex Jones is claiming that Andrew Breitbart's "last contact" was with Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona. This not only defies reality but also requires a complete lack of critical thinking to be believed. Breitbart died just after midnight last Thursday in Los Angeles. In a March 3 post on the Prison Planet website, Jones featured two videos (parts 1 and 2 are below) with Dr. Jerome Corsi talking about Breitbart's untimely death last week.

Corsi says that the last person with whom Andrew Breitbart communicated was Sheriff Arpaio. HOWEVER, everything that Jerome Corsi says is questionable, as we will see in this post. Unnamed sources, innuendo and hunches are  NOT the basis of good journalism.
Corsi's claim that Arpaio was Breitbart's last contact is in complete contradiction with all other reports about the final hours of Andrew Breitbart's life.

NOTE: The point of this post is not to say that I the Obama Administration isn't evil. (I also expect plenty of hate mail from Alex Jones freaks.)

Obama and his czars have acted unconstitutionally repeatedly. Circus clowns like Alex Jones and Michael Savage who say things that are not quite true or greatly exaggerated, however, offer no light.

What we on the Right need is truth and good information to help us in our struggle against the creeping totalitarianism that Obama and his supporters are bringing.

Jones and Savage discredit our cause and confuse the weaker minded on our side with their fear mongering side shows.

"This back story is about Andrew’s last hours," said Jones at the beginning of the post. "In those last hours he was working with Sheriff Arpaio to get the truth about Obama’s fraudulent birth certificate out to a wider audience." (See Heather Moore's report on CBS 5 News Phoenix here.)

Did Sheriff Arpaio communicate with Breitbart "in those last hours?" A report at World Net Daily (WND) gives this account, which makes no mention of Sheriff Arpaio:

Alex Jones says there was no coverage of this story
"Breibart, the 43-year-old conservative pundit and provocateur who died suddenly early Thursday while walking near his Los Angeles home, had stopped into The Brentwood, a nearby bar and restaurant. There, he struck up a conversation with Arthur Sando, a marketing executive who didn’t know Breitbart but likely was the last person to talk extensively with him before he died." [Emphasis added]

In the first video (above), Jones sets up his loyal followers in the Tinfoil Hat Brigage by noting that the CIA has methods of killing people. (That's a shocker, right?). Then he reminds them that Breitbart said that he was going to release videos and information that would embarrass Barack Obama. (See how this all ties together? No? Me neither. )

Jones is, to put it bluntly, a liar. The description he posted on his video at YouTube says, "The news conference of Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Barack Obama's Birth Certificate yielded one fascinating back story. This is a story which has received no media coverage, but it deserves to get out."

However, that's not true. It's a lie, and Jones undoubtedly knows that it's a lie. The media did cover it. Jones did not say that the story has received too little coverage, he said it has received "no media coverage." As I pointed out above, CBS 5 News in Phoenix covered the story in a report that was a full five minutes in length.

Plenty of other media outlets gave it good coverage as well. On February 21, CNN published "Arpaio: I briefed Santorum on birth certificate investigation," so it's not as though the media is avoiding the story. What then, did Alex Jones mean when he said that the story has gotten "no media coverage?" Do a Google search for "obama birth certificate arpaio" and see for yourself and you can come to only one conclusion: Alex Jones is a complete idiot or an outright liar.

Remember this: Corsi and Jones are saying that "Breitbart's Last Contact Was With Sheriff Joe Arpaio." Not "one of the last," but the last contact. That could only mean that they spoke by phone during Breitbart's last walk, after he left The Brentwood. Neither Corsi nor Jones offer evidence of that.

"So Breitbart says 'I'm gonna release this footage,' all this is coming out," says Jones in the first video, "and he dies hours before it does, when he says he's gonna bring down Obama. And so, I happen to know that's why you're suddenly seeing NewsCorp, ah, people like Huckabee say Obama's a good Christian, a loving good man. I've talked to national talk show hosts off-record, obviously I can't tell you the sources, but I was told this months ago and now it's been confirmed from a separate source, Michael Savage fears for his life, says he's getting death threats, this is internal. And he has bodyguards. And he's now admitted this yesterday so I can talk about it, he has bodyguards and told Breitbart to get some, he's broadcasting from different locations, saying they're out to get him. Okay, and he's not a paranoid guy." [Emphasis added]

Alex Jones: Nuttier than squirrel crap (click to enlarge)
What can we take from that? Jones is so good at taking unrelated dribbles of fact and weaving them into a crazy quilt that it's difficult to know where to being unraveling it. But let's try.

Jones said that "you're suddenly seeing...people like Huckabee say Obama's a good Christian." Trouble is, Huckabee said that over a year ago. There is nothing "sudden" about it. In a February 24, 2011 article, Politics Daily's Religion Reporter David Gibson wrote that Huckabee "has personally articulated, not once but numerous times, his Christian faith. I take him at his word. I have no reason not to. For us to continue to dwell on that is missing the point," Huckabee said in a lunchtime speech at the National Press Club in Washington."

Jones says he has "talked to national talk show hosts off-record, obviously I can't tell you the sources." How convenient, hiding behind anonymity. Jones is constantly talking about OTHER critics of the government who are in hiding and fearing for their lives, or who he claims have actually been assassinated, yet Alex Jones continues to open do his show and does not say he is "broadcasting from different locations" as Michael Savage claims to be doing. Ever wonder why that is? Here's why:

Alex Jones is a sensationalist huckster who is making a very good living at stirring up paranoia and selling crap to his nuttier-than-squirrel-poop audience. That's why. If really believed that the government was out to get him, he would have either shut up or would be moving around, not comfortably broadcasting from the same cheesy, over-decorated studio.

Think about that, Mister and Miss Tinfoil Hat. Michael Savage fears for his life and is getting death threats, says Jones, and that may be true. But Savage and Jones are two peas in the same crazy pod.

And think about this, too: Why is that the biggest anti-Obama talk show hosts - Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin - don't resort to the cheap P.T. Barnum-worthy stunts so abused by Jones and Savage? The answer: They don't need to. They probably get death threats weekly if not daily, but they don't use it as a cheap way to get better audience ratings. Savage and Jones are what Mark Levin would call "back benchers." Sensationalism mixed up in a brew of half truths and outrageous statements is all they've got. If all they say were true, they would not be saying it but would be dead -- or locked up in a secret FEMA camp somewhere.

Enough about Alex Jones: What about Corsi's claim that Breitbart's "last contact was with Sheriff Joe Arpaio?"  Does Corsi claim that Sheriff Arpaio was at The Brentwood, or even in LA County?

In the first video, Corsi says he has "solid intelligence that people at Fox are told, for instance, if they ever discuss the birther story they're off the air." The "birther story," of course, is about Obama's birth certificate. One must wonder if Corsi intentionally lied by saying that or if he is just badly misinformed, because Fox is reporting the "birther story."

On March 1, for example, Fox Carolina reported about Arpaio's investigation and news conference about Obama's birth certificate. There's "Birth Certificate Investigation for Sale‎" by MyFox Phoenix, posted on March 5. Fox is not avoiding the story as Corsi strongly indicated. In fact, do your own search for "joe arpaio" at foxnews.com and you'll see that Fox is NOT avoiding the story. Jerome Corsi, then, is either a complete idiot or an outright liar.

The conservative cause does not need the likes of Corsi or Jones, or Michael Savage. They give the Left valid reason to doubt us. They give us disinformation and exaggerations, which does not help us. They are oppotunists who care only about selling books and advertising, and if that means whipping their idiot followers into frenzies based on untruths then so be it. As for me, I'll be listening to Mark Levin.

Adam Carolla Talks With Andrew Breitbart (2010, 2011)

Adam Carolla interviewed Andrew Breitbart at least twice, and you can hear the audio here.

Exclusive: How Andrew Breitbart Was Murdered!

March 2, 2012 - Late this morning, the LA County Coroner performed an autopsy of Andrew Breitbart's body today. Coroner's Chief Craig Harvey said an  autopsy was ordered for several reasons, reports Culver City Patch, including the fact that "he was under 50 and he was not in the care of a doctor in the past year.'' Harvey said the autopsy was in progress late this morning.

In fact, we won't know the official determination of why Breitbart collapsed and died for weeks. Late today the coroner's office said that the final cause of death has been "deferred" while waiting for the results of toxicological and microscopic tests.

Those tests could take between six and eight weeks.

Regardless of what the official coroner's report ends up saying, conspiracy theories about Breitbart's death will continue. Was Breitbart assassinated by Obama's evil operatives?

Well, of course he was, and here's how the Obama Administration murdered Andrew Breitbart:
For years, Obama's agent successfully lured Breitbart into working very hard and putting himself under great stress and pressure. They convinced him to not get into better physical shape and to stay a bit overweight. The evil genius assassins in the Obama Regime began this program to kill Andrew Breitbart decades ago, of course, knowing that their plans would cause Breitbart's weakened heart to give out eventually.
Do I know for a fact that Breitbart was NOT assassinated? Well, no, of course not. But do YOU know for a fact that he was?

Now to get serious: To all of those who are seriously thinking that Andrew Breitbart was assassinated, I respectfully ask you to shut the hell up. Really, just pipe down. You're embarrassing the rest of us. You think Breitbart was murdered? Really? Let's consider: Andrew Breitbart was a workaholic, a bit overweight, under a lot of stress, his own father-in-law says he had a history of heart problems, and in his 40s. He died of a heart attack. Wow, how strange, an out-of-shape man in his 40s dying of a heart attack. That never happens, now, does it? Only 50 percent of males have coronary heart disease by the age of 50, which means that it's so unusual and extremely rare that it just must have been a government conspiracy to murder him, right?

Perhaps you're also the type who is convinced that the moon landings were faked, too. Just please, give it a rest.

UPDATED: ANDREW BREITBART DEAD AT 43 OF NATURAL CAUSES

Andrew Breitbart at Right Nation 2010
Chicago News Bench photo (c) T.H.Mannis
March 1, 2012 - Conservative commentator, former liberal, political warrior and internet publisher Andrew Breitbart has died of natural causes.  Breitbart was pronounced dead at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center "about midnight" according to the Los Angeles Times.

Reuters reports that Breitbart's time of death was 12:19 a.m. Breitbart was taken to the hospital after collapsing while taking a walk near his home in L.A. Reuters hints at the possibility that Breitbart died of a heart attack, but that has not been confirmed. ABC News notes that Breitbart had history of heart problems.

"He collapsed on the sidewalk," Reuters was told by Breitbart's father-in-law, actor Orson Bean, "and the paramedics were there very quickly and they couldn't revive him." Bean spoke to Reuters by phone.  An autopsy may be performed as early as tomorrow.

The International Business Times (IBT) says that Los Angeles Coroner told them via e-mail Thursday morning that the Breitbart's cause of death was not yet known and an examination of the body was still pending. "Craig R. Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the Los Angeles Coroner's Office confirmed Andrew Breitbart's time of death as being 12:19 a.m. Thursday at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles," says IBT.

Breitbart and his team of citizen journalists have broken ground by highlighting stories that most or all other media ignored.

The Anthony Weiner scandal ("Weingergate") of 2010 is one example, as are the exposes of ACORN. He was a giant figure in the world of Internet journalism, helping get both the Drudge Report and the Huffington Post off the ground.

The NY Daily News gives this capsule history of Breitbart:

He was the "adopted son of a restaurant owner and a banker — was raised in a liberal, Jewish household in Los Angeles. He said his political outlook shifted after the Clarence Thomas hearings, in which the future Supreme Court Justice was grilled by Senate Democrats over Anita Hill's accusations of past workplace sexual harassment.... The Tulane graduate got his start in the online news world as an assistant to conservative news aggregator Matt Drudge in the 1990s. He helped turn the struggling Drudge Report into one of the most influential websites on the Internet, read daily by opinion makers and power brokers.

Breitbart friend Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post Media Group released this kind statement today:

I was asked many times this morning for my thoughts on what Andrew meant to the political world, but all I can think of at the moment is what Andrew meant to me as a friend, starting from when we worked together -- his passion, his exuberance, his fearlessness. And above all, what I'm thinking of at the moment is his amazing wife Susie and their four beautiful young children. My love and thoughts are with them right now.

Predictably and sadly, the conspiracy theorists are already wondering aloud whether Breitbart's death was really natural. Some are saying Brietbart might have been assassinated. More on that later, although I do not wear that tinfoil hat.

Andrew Breitbart's websites are: BigGovernment, BigJournalism, BigHollywood, BigPeace, BreitbartTV and Breitbart.com.

Breitbart Rips Into Glenn Beck For Calling Tea Party Racist

English: Television and radio host at CPAC in .Image via Wikipedia
Suppose, for the sake of discussion, that Newt Gingrich gets the Republican nomination for president. If you vote for Gingrich instead of Obama next November, says Glenn Beck, you're a racist. That's what he told Fox News host Andrew Napolitano on December 9's "Freedom Watch" show. Here's what Beck said:

“If you have a big government progressive, or a big government progressive in Obama… ask yourself this, Tea Party: is it about Obama’s race? Because that’s what it appears to be to me. If you’re against him but you’re for this guy, it must be about race. I mean, what else is it? It’s the policies that matter.”

Got that? I'm no fan of Newt Gingrich, and I agree that he is not a true conservative. But Gingrich would be a helluva lot better than another four years of Obama. I say that without consideration for race. I say that because Barack Obama's socialist policies, combined with his fascist embrace of banks and auto manufacturers, not to mention "Obamacare," have taken this country from serious condition in 2008 to critical in 2012. Gingrich could not possibly be worse, and even with his progressive tendencies in some areas, President Gingrich would be better for the nation than more of Obama.

Yet Glenn Beck says that you would be a racist if you voted for Gingrich over Obama. Beck's premise for saying that is flawed: He equates moderate Republican Gingrich with quasi-Socialist, Constitution trampling Obama. Again, I'm no fan of Gingrich, but I'll willingly and without hesitation hold my nose and vote for him next November if it comes down to that.

Beck's own hypocrisy here is stunning. On the April 6, 2010, Beck said this:

"When did referring to someone as a socialist become akin to calling somebody a racist name? I mean, I understand the meaning of racist words and the hurt there. But socialism is not that. That's political ideology defined by discernable characteristics and if somebody points out those characteristics, you're pointing out a political viewpoint or policy."  - Glenn Beck show, Fox News

In that show, Beck called Obama a Marxist. He's called Obama a Marxist many, many times. Call Gingrich what you will, nobody has ever seriously thought of him as a Marxist. Why Beck suddenly feels that getting Gingrich as our next president would be worse than four more years of the "Marxist" Obama is a mystery.

Today, in late 2011, Beck is equates a voting for Gingrich over voting for Obama to racism. Perhaps Beck forgot his own words, or did not mean them in the first place. Perhaps he no longer thinks that Tea Party people - or anybody else, for that matter, including Democrats who have lost faith in the Obama they once voted for - are capable of choosing Gingrich over the full destructive policies of Obama. To paraphrase Beck himself, to vote for Gingrich over Obama would be voting out a political viewpoint or policy, not racism. I mean, I understand the meaning of racist words and the hurt there. But voting for the far-lesser of two evils, and against more Marxism, is not that.

Breitbart and Beck both have huge egos, so it should be interesting to watch this clash of media titans as it plays out. I suspect it will not end soon. Breitbart's book, "Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!" is available at Amazon.com and is testimony to his sense of self importance.  (While you're at Amazon, by the way, check out "Debunking Glenn Beck: How to Save America from Media Pundits and Propagandists" by Karl Alan Rogers.)

English: Former Speaker of the House at CPAC in .Image via WikipediaI was a Glenn Beck fan years before many of you probably even heard of him. I loved his goofy radio show, and it was interesting to watch him "evolve" into a serious political commentator. What's worried me over the past two years, and really broke his spell on me about a year ago, was the realization that Glenn Beck is no expert on anything.

Beck repeats what he's told by paid staffers and advisors who have fooled him into thinking that they are experts. Sure, I've agreed with much of what Beck has told us, but just this one statement alone is enough for me to no longer simply not be a Beck fan. I now actively dislike him.

I don't trust him. I am offended by him. As Breitbart said of Beck, "“I don’t care what he does, because he is dead to me."

The Goofy Protesters at Right Nation 2010

As attendees were still on their way into the Sears Centre Arena to enjoy the big gathering of conservatives, these protesters suddenly popped out of a yellow school bus. Their signs were all "hand made," but were curiously all in the same handwriting. Some of those signs said, "Stop the Hate!" Then, suddenly, a box of flags was broken out and voila, they were all holding identical, brand new U.S. flags! (Click image to enlarge) Andrew Brietbart confronted them. He challenged them to name "just one" example hate by the conservatives in RN2010. They couldn't, he said. One protester told Breitbart, "I don't want to get caught up in your trap." The protesters jumped back on the bus and vanished as quickly as they had materialized. They were only here for moments, and provided nothing more than laughs for the folks here.

Tea Party as Monster: King Kong vs Godzilla

Things have changed since I wrote "Are Tea Parties Working? (Not Yet)" on April 13, 2009. The Tea Parties have shown that they can directly and profoundly affect local and national politics.

One example, from New York today: Dede Scozzafava, the Republican and Independence parties candidate, announced Saturday [Oct. 31]that she is suspending her campaign for the 23rd Congressional District and releasing all her supporters. (Source) That is due directly to heavy pressure from Tea Partiers nationwide who worked against Scozzafava, a liberal Republican, and for Doug Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate. Tea Partiers and allied bloggers don't care about party labels. They want conservatives with true conservative values. Scozzafava didn't fit that bill. (See NY-23: Behold the power of the conservative blogosphere.)

Bring in supporting factors like Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Andrew Breitbart and others and the Tea Party "movement" has come into its own, finally gelling into something not merely cohesive, with a semblance of leadership and organization, but something huge and unstoppable.

Bill Hennessy sums this up well in his must-read October 31, 2009 column at Big Government, titled "New York 23: When a Nation Calls." He notes the huge impact that Tea Partiers are currently having on elections around the country, specifically in New York. There is a very contentious congressional race in New York, and the election is next Tuesday. As noted above in a late-breaking story, Tea Parties have directly affected that election by forcing the withdrawal of the liberal Republican. This sends a very loud shot across the bow of the Republican Party: Tea Partiers will work against so-called Republicans who are not true to conservative philosophy and practice. You better walk the walk, GOP.

"With the fury of Feburary 27," writes Hennessy, "the numbers of Tax Days, and the passion of 9/12, this conservative grassroots army is focused on upstate New York and the race between a Conservative Party candidate, Doug Hoffman and his two left-wing rivals.
This battle pits the people of the Tea Party against both major parties in a fight for the nation’s future .... Before the polls open in upper New York on Tuesday morning, thousands of Tea Partiers from states as far away as California will have had an impact on what might otherwise have been an unnoticed special election. Local Tea Party Organizers across the country are overwhelmed by their people’s desire to help. Hoffman’s offices are overwhelmed with volunteers who are just showing up. (Anyone wishing to help from their own home can go
here.)"

Not only elections are being affected by Tea Partiers. One of the stars of the movement is Andrew Breitbart, whose "Big Government" web site broke the now-famous series of videos that showed ACORN workers in several offices giving business advice to two people who identified themselves to those workers as a pimp and a prostitute. Those sessions were recorded by a hidden camera. For more about Andrew Breitbart and those videos, see "Washington Post: ACORN Video Creates New Conservative Star."

The Tea Party movement looms over every horizon today, from coast to coast. To the allies of the Obama-Pelosi King Kong-like regime, with its weekly violations of the Constitution, insane levels of spending and paranoid arogance, the Tea Party movement must look like Godzilla. To those of us in the Tea Party movement who actively oppose Barack King Kong Obama's power grab and lunatic policies, Godzilla is a beautiful sight indeed.

Tax Day Tea Parties, Alinsky and Digital Warfare

The art of any propagandist and agitator consists in his ability to find the best means of influencing any given audience, by presenting a definite truth, in such a way as to make it most convincing, most easy to digest, most graphic, and most strongly impressive. ~ Lenin, The Slogans and Organisation of Social-Democratic Work (1919) The post's headline sums it up: "Left Wing Gearing Up to Undermine Tea Parties, But We Will Fight Back." The Parcbench blog post today goes on to tell us this (emphasis added): In a recent Washington Times article titled, “Online activists on the right, unite!,” Andrew Breitbart wrote about the dirty tactics that left-wing activists are employing online. Breitbart, who helped his friend and former conservative, Arianna Huffington, found the left-wing Huffington Post blog, wrote that “Internet hooligans are spewing their talking points to thwart the dissent of the newly-out-of-power… Political leftists play for keeps. They are willing to lie, perform deceptive acts in a coordinated fashion and do so in a wicked way - all in the pursuit of victory.” Full Post at Parcbench.com... That "wicked way" includes lying, defamation and posing. The late Saul Alinsky was a "community organizer" in Chicago. He advocated both socialism and communism, and was the author of the infamous "Rules for Radicals. " Many laud that book as "the Communist Manifesto for the modern times." Saul Alinsky's son has called Barack Obama his father's greatest student. But this is nothing new; Obama was not the first, nor was Alinsky, to follow the principle of victory by any means. The end, for the Left, always justifies the means, no matter how ugly the tactics used. (See: Barack Obama: Disciple of Saul Alinsky) Alinksy taught, "Lie, dissemble, ridicule and deride your opponents... do what you need to do to get ahead. Listen to and learn their needs and take advantage - do not care. Manipulate the morals. Lying is never wrong as long as it leads you to a position of power. Say what you need to say to get ahead. The ends justify the means." This is about "revolutionary truth" and "bourgeois truth." More on that below. Breitbart's article in the Washington Times was published on March 30. It starts with this omininous paragraph: A digital war has broken out, and the conservative movement is losing. Read the comment sections of right-leaning blogs, news sites and social forums, and the evidence is there in ugly abundance. Internet hooligans are spewing their talking points to thwart the dissent of the newly-out-of-power. Breitbart continued: Much of Mr. Obama's vaunted online strategy involved utilizing "Internet trolls" to invade enemy lines under false names and trying to derail discussion. In the real world, that's called "vandalism." But in a political movement that embraces "graffiti" as avant-garde art , that's business as usual. It relishes the ability to destroy other people's property in pursuit of electoral victory. It's a brave new world out there. Many on the Left will do anything to grab onto it. Let's get back the issue of "revolutionary truth" versus "bourgeois truth." Briefly, "revolutionary truth" differs from bourgeois truth in that bourgeois truth is based on whether a statement comports with reality. Revolutionary truth, on the other hand, is based on whether a statement promotes a cause or party or candidate (lies presented as truth). There will be a lot of "revolutionary truth" presented. Of course, the Left has been heaping its version of Reality on us for decades now. The challenge is to be able to filter the reality from the lies. Discover the truth through practice, and again through practice verify and develop the truth. Start from perceptual knowledge and actively develop it into rational knowledge; then start from rational knowledge and actively guide revolutionary practice to change both the subjective and the objective world. Practice, knowledge, again practice, and again knowledge. This form repeats itself in endless cycles, and with each cycle the content of practice and knowledge rises to a higher level. Such is the whole of the dialectical-materialist theory of knowledge, and such is the dialectical-materialist theory of the unity of knowing and doing. ~ Mao Zedong, On Practice (1937) RELATED: No Leniency for Leftist Hatemongers The Religious Left's Lies Air America: Telling The Lies The Left Wants To Hear
