Free Phones and 47 Percenters - SEIU Morons Prove Romney Right

Sept. 27, 2012 - "Give it away, give it away, give it away now."  Watch this woman protesting with others outside of a Mitt Romney campaign rally in Cleveland, Ohio yesterday.

"RealFreedom1776" posted the video to YouTube and noted that this woman "explains how Obama gives all minorities free phones and that is why they should vote for him." I mean, seriously, these folks could just as well have been chanting "WE! ARE! THE FORTY SEVEN PERCENT!"

It will come as no surprise to many of you that the protesters were paid by the SEIU to be there and chant their nonsense. "We don't want no Bain Economy!" they mumbled, but had no idea what Bain is.

Obamaphone devotee and Democrat voter
Yes, and isn't that exactly the kind of thing that Mitt Romney referred to (clumsily) when he said that "47 percent" of Americans are on the dole?

Yes, I know: Not ALL of those getting assistance from the government are slackers. I know.

However, it is undeniable that a large number of them are just like this woman, happy to have their votes and their political loyalty bought for damned free cell phone and a few loaves of bread. They don't see that they and others are enslaved, trapped in a very-hard-to-break cycle of dependency. They don't see that their "free" Obamaphone is not really free, but that it is paid for by taxpayer money. They don't see that taxpayers' money is forcibly taken from them to pay for that Obamaphone.  Many who do, though, don't care or shrug it off.

Okay, some of them do care. I live in Chicago, and I talk to the homeless and the poor. I am acquainted with about a dozen people (all white, by the way) who are receiving food stamps. Four or five have an "Obamaphone." They call it that with a sneer, however.

Above:  Obama video released Sept. 27 attacks Romney for speaking the truth.

The people I know are desperately looking for work, and a cell phone is a vital tool for them in their job hunt. Needless to say, food to keep you alive is important too. My point is simple: Some benefits receivers hate being on the dole, but have no choice. Even so....

The woman in the top video, however, is one of those people who Mitt Romney was thinking of when he said, "There are 47% of the people who will vote for the president no matter what." That woman speaks not for all of the 47% who are getting help. Rather, she speaks for those who make a career and a lifestyle of sucking at the government teat. I have no doubt that Mitt Romney is aware of the fact that some of those receiving benefits are conservatives and are not happy to have to take public aid - and that plenty actually agree with him. Think of the woman in the first video telling us we need to keep Obama "in president" because he gives away free cell phone.  Think of her when you hear Romney say that there are people "who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it." He might have said it better, but Romney was essentially right.

Free Pipe Organ Concert June 13, Chicago North Side

This actually sounds like fun. The folks at Epworth United Methodist Church sent this press release. The church is located in the beautiful Edgewater neighborhood on Chicago's northern lakefront, just two short blocks east of the Berwyn CTA Red Line station and one block west of W. Berwyn and N. Sheridan at 5253 N. Kenmore Avenue, Chicago (see map). Inasmuch as it's Friday, I'm feeling too lazy to rewrite it. So here it is, in full, with minimal editing: On Sunday, June 13th, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. the Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the Organ Historical Society members: will perform a recital on the church's historic organ built by the M. P. Moller Organ Company of Hagerstown, Maryland, as their opus 5881. The scheduled performers are Derek Nickels (Chapter President and Church of the Holy Comforter, Kenilworth), Michael Shawgo (First UMC, Oak Park), Mark Sudeith (Chicago State University) and Carl Chadek. The organ was designed by the notable organ architect William H. Barnes, who served as organist at Epworth United Methodist Church from 1910-1924. This is the concluding event of the Chicago-Midwest Chapter's 2009-2010 year. A free-will offering will be accepted for the continuing maintenance of this historic organ. Your contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated. Complementary parking is located behind the 7th Christian Science Reading Room on the northwest corner of Berwyn and Kenmore Avenues. Note: After the show, I suggest you stop into Ollie's Lounge, a quaint and friendly neighborhood joint at 1064 W. Berwyn, between the CTA station and the church.

National Honk Against Health Care Takeover Day, March 16

On March 16 at 12 noon your time, drive to your nearest congressional district office and drive around honking your horn. The goal is to have Americans across the nation telling the politicians to keep their hands off our health care through this “Honk Against the Health Care Takeover” effort. To show people why you’re honking, when you register we’ll send you FREE a “Honk Against the Health Care Takeover” bumper sticker. To receive the bumper sticker in time for the March 16th event, you need to register by 8 a.m., March 11th. GO HERE NOW TO REGISTER. Orders registered after that time will be mailed, but might not get to you in time for the event. Click here to find your representative’s local office that is nearest to you, and use the form to register below so we can send you a bumper sticker. Last week, Barack Obama actually said the nation is “waiting for [Washington] to act” on the health care issue. This is arrogance and political posturing at its worst. Like most Americans, the president knows the truth. Every reputable public opinion poll for months has clear majorities of the American people saying “NO” to the health care “reform” coming out of Washington, D.C. Now is the time to finish the job of protecting this most personal freedom by stopping the Democrats’ Washington takeover of our health care in the U.S. House of Representatives (Congress). Alderman Gives Away Free Crap in Park

Free crap was handed out to people eager to grab up any free crap that was handed out to them by Alderman Joe Moore, 49th Ward. The event was a thinly disguised political opportunity to garner support for the 49th Ward "Invitation Only" Democrat Party. Moore, seen here with a bottle in his hand (it's okay, he's got that "under control"), gladly handed out free crap in exchange for people's contact information and their solemn oath to vote for Barack Obama. (Mr. Obama was not present at this event.) David Fagus, COO of embattled Cermak Health Services, took time out to help hand out free crap. Apparently, he has straightened out the mess at Cook County's jails and has beaten the Federal Government's Sept. 1st deadline to clean it up! Congratulations, Dave! Dave also functions as the 49th Ward Democrat Committeeman. Wayne "The Enforcer" Frazier was also handing out free crap. He's the guy picking his nose. Let's hope for the children that Wayne had a clean hanky to wipe the boogers on before he handled any of the free crap he was handing out. Free crap. People crave it, and it's what Democrats are all about. Moore, Fagus and Frazier were fine representatives of their party today in the glorious 49th People's Democratic Ward.
