This video, reports Founding Bloggers, "is a preview of our full report on the recent candidates’ forum in Illinois’ 9th congressional district between Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and her Republican challenger, Joel Pollak." It's a great teaser, and we can't wait for the full version. As you watch the video, you'll see Schakowsky's convicted felon husband, Robert Creamer, hovering in the background. New Video of John McCain With Felon Fundraiser

NEVER-BEFORE RELEASED VIDEO (BELOW) OF McCAIN AND CONVICTED FELON FUNDRAISER DISCOVERED: "McCain - Do You Recognize Rothstein Now?" Posted on YouTube by JDforSenate (J.D. Hayworth) on July 1, 2010. Hayworth is running against McCain in Arizona's Republican primary election for U.S. Senate. The Tucson Citizen writes: Sen. John McCain is caught on tape at two Florida fundraisers hosted by a convicted felon – who will spend the rest of his life in prison for a Ponzi scheme that helped finance McCain’s 2008 Presidential campaign – who raised more money for McCain than anyone else – and who McCain now says he “can’t pick out of a lineup.” The Hayworth campaign wrote this on their YouTube site: Scott Rothstein was Sen. John McCain's #1 Fundraiser for his presidential campaign who used campaign finance loopholes to bundle more than $1.1 million dollars. As it turns out, most, if not all of that money, came from investors who Rothstein swindled out of billions of dollars in an elaborate Ponzi scheme, much like Bernie Madoff. Despite his close ties to Rothstein, Senator John McCain's spokesman said that McCain "couldn't pick [Rothstein] out of a line up." These never before seen home tapes tell a different story.

Detroit's Hip-Hop Mayor Jailed

Democrat Kwame Kilpatrick, mayor of Detroit, was ordered locked up today. The embattled mayor had the audacity to leave town, thereby violating a bond that was recently revoked. Known as "the hip-hop mayor," he's gone from cool bad boy (in some people's eyes) to just plain bad. Meanwhile, Kandia Milton is now Detroit's acting mayor. Kilpatrick is in so much trouble for so many thing that it's getting difficult to keep track of it all. But man, what fun it is to watch this clown go down. Leaders in Detroit are saying that Kilpatrick must go. Too bad they didn't get rid of him a long time ago. Too bad, in fact, that he was ever elected. Indeed, today the Detroit Free Press poses this: "Question to Detroit: How long will you be Kwame Kilpatrick's fool?" (Note to Cook County in Illinois: Think Todd Stroger.) In late July, Kilpatrick's was ordered to undergo drug screening, according to ClickOn Detroit, "based on testimony from two detectives in the accusations that Kilpatrick assaulted Detective Brian White." But the fool thought he could sneak out of town, a violation of the court's orders. Today the Globe and Mail reports this: Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, charged with perjury and other felonies for his testimony in a civil trial, was ordered to jail Thursday because he violated his bond by taking a quick trip to Canada without notifying authorities. Mr. Kilpatrick apologized and acknowledged that he made a mistake when he visited Windsor, Ont., minutes away, on July 23 for city business. But 36th District Court Judge Ronald Giles was not moved, saying he needed to treat the mayor like any other defendant. FULL STORY... Schakking Up With Jan and Joe

The Bench has been telling you this for, uhm, about a year now. What wicked webs they weave. John at Marathon Pundit writes: Schakowsky maneuvering for Obama's Senate seat I have the misfortune of having one of the most liberal members of Congress, Jan Schakowsky of Evanston, representing me (sort of) in Washington. She's one of the loons who wants to reinstate the absurdly named Fairness Doctrine, which would effectively shut down talk radio--and individuals like Rush Limbaugh--who criticize her type. Yes, and here in the 49th Ward of Chicago we have the misfortune of having one of the goofiest and least effective aldermen, who has a long and cozy relationship with Schakowsky. Schakowsky's coveting of Obama's Senate seat been street talk in Rogers Park about a year. And guess what: 49th Ward Alderman Joe Moore wants Schakowsky's Congressional seat. John continues: Her husband, Robert Creamer, spent five months in federal prison two years ago after pleading guilty to kiting checks while he was the executive director of the goody-goody consumer advocacy group, the Illinois Public Action Council. Although she was not accused of any wrongdoing, Schakowsky served on the organization's board of directors was while hubby was acting the official kite runner. Alderman Moore was - still is - good friends with felon Creamer. Indeed, the Moore Schakowsky Axis is one of the most intriguing political relationships out there. Schakowsky, a very powerful member of Congress, has given disproportionate amounts of financial, moral and consulting support to Moore, a little alderman. Both are members of the DNC. Moore is rumored by people in the know to have engaged in check kiting with Creamer. There is a lot of stink around most of the characters who cling to both Schakowsky and Moore. Creamer was a guest at the recent victory party of Heather Steans, where she was surrounded by Todd Stroger sycophant David Fagus, and Joe Moore toadie Jim Ginderske and Jim's very own toadie Tom Westgard. What a crew. READ THE FULL POST at Marathon Pundit...
