Obama Threatens Our Constitutional Rights

Like it or not, the Second Amendment is part of our Constitution. Obama and his Chicago Mafia, however, don't like the Second Amendment, which is part of the Bill of Rights. In fact, they don't much like the Constitution as a whole. But let's concentrate here on the right to bear arms, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment. Gun owners - legal, law abiding gun owners - have been under attack by the anti-Constitution crowd for decades. But now, as pointed out by NRA Institute for Legislative Action, the rights of gun owners is in greater danger than ever. (As a historical note, you should know that the first thing that any dictator does when they first take power is to take away the guns away from those they wish to subjugate.) The NRA-ILA states on their web site: Barack Obama and Joe Biden will take oaths to uphold the Constitution, but we know by their deeds and their words that they believe the Second Amendment rights of American citizens must be severely restricted. We know the people Obama will appoint to his cabinet and to other federal offices will be almost universally anti-gun. Obama’s selection of Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff is a perfect example of the hostility the Obama White House will have for gun owners’ rights. Emanuel, now an anti-gun congressman from Illinois, was once described as the Clinton administration’s "point man on gun control." Continued... Back to the dictators and gun control: In 1928, five years before the rise of Hitler, Germany's freely elected government enacted a "Law on Firearms and Ammunition." This law required anyone who owned a firearm, or who wanted to own a firearm, to make themselves known to the authorities....."Proof of need" was made a condition for issuance of all licenses, not just the carry permit. Mandatory prison sentences were imposed on anyone who professionally sold or transferred a firearm or ammunition without a license....As a result of the 1928 Law, all firearms and firearms owners were registered. To take firearms from anyone they distrusted, the Nazis simply did not renew permits....Nazis could now easily confiscate all firearms and ammunition from any, or all, selected groups. The gun law of 1928 had served the Nazis well. It made almost all law abiding firearms owners known to the authorities. The 1928 law on firearms and ammunition helped the Nazis to destroy democracy in Germany, by disarming the law abiding majority, whom they feared. Full essay... In Germany they first came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me — and by that time no one was left to speak up.

Change Can Kill You

"Change" is not always good. Yes we can? Si se puede? Jah, Wir können!

Obama and Richard Wagner

Is it just coincidence that Barack Obama will be anointed tonight before 75,000 people in Nuremberg-style rally, and that on August 28, 1850 Richard Wagner's "Lohengrin" opera debuted in Weimar, Germany? The stage that Obama will stand on was built to look like Greek columns, a look favored by Hitler and the Nazis. (The stage, by the way, was designed by Britney Spears' set designer.) Wagner was Hitler's favorite composer. Hitler used entertainment professionals to design his stages. Coincidence? I think not. Hitler loved to speak in stadiums, too. Like Obama, Hitler had stages designed by show biz types, most famously the brilliant Leni Riefenstahl: Leni Riefenstahl's most infamous work was as a propagandizing filmmaker in Nazi Germany. She painted murderous thugs against huge-in-scale, brilliantly detailed ceremony. Her job was to relate Hitler's cult of personality to the masses in an awe-inspiring fashion which would both stun the senses and silence the opposition. [Source] Couple this with the 200,000 Germans in a huge rally over there and you've got disturbing imagery, a cult of personality ready to be fully unleashed upon us. We saw the results of a personality cult in Germany more than 70 years ago. Have we learned nothing? Richard Wagner (1818-1883) was Hitler's favorite composer....It was not only Wagner's music that 'struck a chord' with Hitler, but also his political views. Wagner wrote a violently antisemitic booklet in the 1850s called Das Judebthum in die Musik (Judaism in Music) insisting the Jews poisoned public taste in the arts. He founded the Bayreuth festival, which in the 1930s and 1940s was used by the Nazi party as a propaganda tool against the Jews. [Source: Florida Center for Instructional Technology]

Fear No Art, Dummy

A man tore the head off an Adolf Hitler wax figure at Madame Tussauds' new branch in Berlin in what appeared to be a symbolic protest on the museum's opening day Saturday, police said. Full story at ComcastNews....

See, here's the deal. It wasn't really Hitler. It was a wax dummy.

Police said they arrested the man and he told them he was demonstrating against the Hitler figure.

See, here's the deal. You don't demonstrate against a wax figure. It's art. Art, okay? And as all Leftists remind us, we should fear no art.

A Swastika On Your Bed?

I have no idea why India has such a misunderstanding about Adolf Hitler and the symbol of his maniacal Third Reich, the swastika. Last summer there was a spate of news stories about a restaurant in India called "Hitler's Cross." I have no idea how the food was, but it caused quite a stir. Now, there is a bedding collection based on the swastika, as told by The Times of India, this story: MUMBAI, INDIA: Here comes chapter II of Hitler's Cross. A dealer in bedspreads has named his latest line, Nazi Collection. His booklet says Nazi stands for ‘New Arrival Zone of India', but the Fuhrer's hooked cross next to the word leaves no doubt about his intention. Full Article...
