Must-Read, Divisive Stuff from Toni Duncan

WARNING: Some people might find this posting to be "divisive." It contains truth and fact, which may cause discomfort and stomach upset for some readers. A must-read from Toni Duncan, one of the premier bloggers in this, the Nation's Fifth Bloggiest Neighborhood. She writes about last night's permit hearing for Island Groove. Before the meeting, Toni wrote that, "the Island Groove Feel Good meeting is tonight. Let the neighbors raise their hands in protest or in favor, rest assured the decision has already been made. Some readers have written privately with complaints and so noted, but complaints need to be directed to the lord of the fief." For the uninitiated, "lord of the fief" is - and I'm making a wild guess - caped crime fighter Alderman Joe Moore of the 49th Ward. Toni continued, "What did the lord and his non-chamber do to help these two Mike's in a manner equal to other favored Rogers Park businesses?" Gosh,Toni's question is so divisive. But it's a good one. "As I wrote this morning, the election is over and it’s safe to allow this liquor license now. Moore also recruited some of his NOH muscles to show – one election judge and one pollwatcher to name a couple!" Read the whole divisive posting... (Oh my, I hope this divisive post didn't upset my sensitive friend Dave!)
