Stoning the Opposition in the 50th Ward

The continuing saga of 50th Ward incumbent alderman Bernie Stone's supporters, who have destroyed over 100 Naisy Dolar signs in the past day or so - and ripped down at least one U. S. flag. (Do Bernie Stone and Joe Moore have the same supporters?) The following is from CAPS Beat 2411 emails, which are flying fast and furious as this story keep developing. John, the Dolar campaign's media consultant has asked me to list a number of media outlets that could be contacted (for this or other issues if you prefer). John said that the media is more likely to pick up the story from regular citizens than from the campaign. Apparently the media tends to be jaded and expects this kind of behavior to occur every campaign cycle. Is there anyone who has a video camera and is willing to walk some of these blocks so that the absence of so many signs is documented? Some neighbors have put up replacement signs. It would be a powerful statement to be able to show block after block with only Stone signs represented.
