Shot down in flames, Chicago was eliminated in the first round of the Olympics selection this morning. Sadly, Michelle Obama's late father will not be able to enjoy the games in the Windy City. Perhaps even more tragically, children across Chicago will not be able to learn how to ride a bike, folks will not be able to come together with strangers, and peace cannot reign in the world. (See her unbelievably lame speech in the video below.) Meanwhile, what will Mayor Daley do will all the TIF money he's got socked away? How will Valerie Jarrett dump all that real estate?
The Leftist mainstream media will not admit how biased they've been with embarrassing headlines like this from CNN: Michelle Obama steals the show in Copenhagen. See, no, she really didn't, CNN.
On the other hand, some media have been realistic. These headlines, for example, at the Drudge Report:
WORLD REJECTS OBAMA: CHICAGO OUT IN FIRST ROUND and THE EGO HAS LANDED (both headlines link to BBC stories).
Perhaps now some people can be awakened from they hope-nosis and realize that the world is not in love with Barack Obama. His "magic" was completely ineffective in Copenhagen. Then again, none of his magic has been working in the U.S., either:
