It's been noted many times that "news" is not stuff about good things. In other words, you will not be able to pick up a newspaper today and find a story with a headline like "City Did Not Blow Up Today." Rest assured, however, that if a city did blow up, papers in every other city would have headlines reading, "City Blows Up."
So here's a story, minor though it may be and of very local interest to the 49th Ward, about the parking scofflaws at Alderman Joe Moore's recent birthday celebration. It's more of a pictorial, really, but it gets the point across: These people (a) are sloppy parkers and (b) feel they are above the law.
