Blogger's Link Function Screwing Up

Other bloggers have confirmed that they, too, are having difficulty with links in their posts. When you try to add target="_blank" onto a link's URL, Blogger scrambles it in such a way that it becomes useless. It would be nice if Blogger fixed this problem soon. It's been a problem for at least ten days now. Surely I am not the first to complain about it.
