Kimberly Bares, Queen of DevCorp North, celebrated an unlicensed incense vendor who sets up shop on the sidewalks of Rogers Park, Chicago."This is what business in Rogers Park is all about," said Ms. Bares. "No hassles, no licensing, no fees, no taxes to pay, no inspections, no problems."
When The Bench asked Ms. Bares whether or not the unnamed, unlicensed, unregulated, untaxed incense vendor was a member of DevCorp North, she shrugged her shoulders.
"No, he's not. We're working on that. Being completely outside of the system, it's difficult for us to put, you know, pressure on the guy. But we're confident that we'll figure something out soon."
