There was a ceremony today at The Morse Theatre on W. Morse Avenue in Rogers Park, Chicago to celebrate its excellent construction progress. The theater is expected to open in the summer of 2008 and will have a 300-seat live music theatre, a 100-seat restaurant with bar, and the ability to show movies. Some local political folks showed up to enjoy the pastries and coffee and offer their hearty good wishes. Which reminds me...
Common Cup coffee shop catered the event. NEWS: Common Cup is now open on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and beginning on Thursday, October 25 they will add sandwiches and salads to their menu. Common Cup has free wifi, great coffee and excellent pastries. They are located on the southwest corner of N. Greenview and W. Morse in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
