Chicago's Loyola Park's Partial Pathway Patchup
As predicted by The Bench, the "repair" of the paved pathways in Chicago's Loyola Park along Lake Michigan are still in sorry shape. The under-maintained Chicago Park District beach and park is within Chicago's 49th Aldermanic Ward, whose alderman recently trumpeted this as a "complete" repair job. It ain't folks. See the slide show (below) for photos taken this evening, nearly a week after the partial patchup began. Is it just coincidence that this little bit of blacktop pavement was laid down on Park District property just as an alley repaving project ended? And was blacktop given improperly to the Park District by Alderman Moore? Hey, just asking.
