Seems RPB's observation is not unique. We may be the "most diverse" neighborhood, and the "bloggiest." We pride ourselves in being a community of many backgrounds. But why hasn't the blogosphere reflected this? Marathon Pundit comments on it here.
It also recently occurred to me that I don't see the kind of community activist outcry against gentrification around here as was seen in Wicker Park and that is now going on in Pilsen. Maybe because many of the involved activists and long term residents want change/improvement.
Where are all the Jomo supporters working for their cause? OH, that's right-they have their heads buried in the sand- I almost forgot.
