French Markets To Rally On Sarkozy's Presidential Victory 05-06-2007 PARIS (Dow Jones) -- French financial markets should rally Monday, though modestly, on the convincing election Sunday of conservative Nicolas Sarkozy as France's new president, economists and traders say. "It has always been very clear: the markets' favorite candidate was clearly Nicolas Sarkozy," ACDE's economist Marc Touati told Dow Jones Newswires.
