Los Angeles Dodges a Bullet
Los Angeles barely escaped a full blown disaster this week. Griffith Park in L.A. is adjacent to the L.A. Zoo and a stone's throw from Universal Studios. It is Hollywood adjacent and just south of Burbank. I have fond memories of driving through Griffith Park when I lived in L.A. Today, 75 percent of the huge park lies burned. Fortunately, no homes were destroyed.
