"Super-Chimp" Made With Human Genes A chimpanzee capable of doing simple tasks such as repetitive factory work has been created in the laboratory by modifying the brain of a chimpanzee embryo with human DNA. The chimp has a measurable IQ of 68, well within the range necessary to accomplish simple tasks such as janitorial and some factory assembly work, and stoop labor, for example, on farms.
