Tortilla Tantrums
Tempers continue to flare in Mexico over the price of tortillas, and it's big finger-pointing mess. Fingers are wagged at each other south of the border, and also at El Norte. This excerpt from an excellent piece in today's Inter Press Service News Agency (IPS) sums up the big, sad picture of a nation that is bleeding population. Follow the link for the details.

Question: Is Mexico not one of our primary sources for imported fruits and vegetables? Would it be too much to ask for them to all just shut up and plant some damn corn?
