Wow. Just found this web site, Super Chef. Top story today: "Foie Gras War From York to China"

Super Chef is an industry site, oriented (obviously) toward chefs and those in the restaurant industry. But they also have a great collection of articles about foie gras. Man, is this fun. Great writing, great humor, great site.
