Service Delivers Fast Food Burgers and Tacos To Chicago

April 29, 2013 - Have you ever wished that you could get Taco Bell or McDonald's delivered to your door? To lovers of fast foods, the lack of delivery can be frustrating.

Fortunately for them, there's "Fetch Foods," a two-week old delivery service in Chicago that picks up from chain fast food restaurants and brings it to fast food addicts on the city's north east side.

Fetch is already getting orders via their website. People can order favorite items on the website. Fetch customers can choose items from McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Five Guys or White Castle. Fetch is an independent delivery service and is not affiliated with any of the restaurants from which they deliver.

The Fetch Facebook page is a good place to keep track of updates. There's the occasional wit, as well, such as this one today: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of a cure, so help prevent that hangover by ordering fast food with us after your drinking tonight."

Ordering through Fetch's website is simple. Select the desired items, add them to your shopping cart, then checkout. The process is straightforward familiar to anyone who has ever used an online shopping cart. Fetch says they can get orders delivered in an hour. They use delivery people with both cars and bicycles. Fetch serves the following Chicago zip codes:
Update: Fetch will deliver fast food to the beach! Their Facebook page noted on May 1, "Simply tell us what beach you're at (any Chicago beach, from Loyola to North Ave.) in the special instructions area of your order, and leave a cell phone number, and we'll gladly bring your grub straight to you."

Although Fetch is less than a month old, they're already creating a lot of buzz. Chicagoist did a nice piece about Fetch last week. If you would like to work with Fetch, contact them here.
