Second District. The Sun-Times reported that Oak Brook Businessman Rahuveer Nayak told federal authorities that Mr. Jackson directed him to offer former Gov. Rod Blagojevich six million dollars in campaign cash in return for an appointment to the U.S. Senate seat. The Sun-Times also reported Jackson had Mr. Nayak pay for two airline trips for a “social acquaintance,” Washington, D.C., restaurant hostess Giovana Huidobro.
