One of the kids sees the politically correct adults looking at the heavey winter snows outside, and asks a good question. "If global warming is so horrible, how come they're not happy that it's all kinda fizzling out?"
The answer, of course, is that the "fizzling out" of global warming presents a couple of dilemmas for many liberal adults. The evidence that global warming is a hoax mounts weekly, and that threatens the false belief system of the liberals. Also, if global warming proves to be a pack of lies (as it has), the liberals have one less excuse to complain and point fingers in with oh-so-superior attitude.
