Updated - Chicago Protest Against Obamacare, August 4

Note: This is a past event, but the links are still informative. UPDATE: There are surprisingly few reports about this event to be found on the web. Fortunately, Harold Pollack was there on Tuesday, and posted a good report on The New Republic. Pollack is a professor at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. WGN 720 AM also posted a report. * * * The event took place at 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago [see map below]. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky was a featured speaker. (Was Schakowsky's felon husband Robert Creamer in attendance?) John Ruberry has more info at his blog, Marathon Pundit: From 4:30pm-6:00pm on Tuesday....attend a counterprotest against Obamacare at Federal Plaza, on the corner of Adams and Clark. This is the same place where the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party took place. Here is the flyer put out by the astro-turfers on the left. The featured speaker will be my cretinous congresscritter, Jan Schakowsky (D-Evanston), who said in April that government-run health care is the road to a single-payer plan. In other words, socialized medicine. MORE on this at Marathon Pundit...
