Updated - Two Shot, Cop Injured Downtown Chicago

FINAL UPDATE: Man shot by cops 'brought it upon himself' - Chicago Breaking News Note: This incident happened in the 160 block of N. State Street, home to the Chicago Theater, ABC Studios and the large Borders Books, Gene Siskel Film Center and the Lake Street CTA subway station. Chicago Sun-Times: An armed robber was shot and critically wounded by a police officer in the Loop at State and Randolph this afternoon after the man stabbed the officer, police on the scene told the Chicago Sun-Times. The uniformed officer witnessed a man robbing somebody near the busy intersection and intervened, police on the scene said. The robber turned and stabbed the officer. That officer then shot the man multiple times, police on the scene said.... CBS 2 Chicago: The shooting took place at around 12:45 p.m. just south of ABC 7 News studios in front of Loehmann's department store, near State and Randolph streets.Witnesses say a heavyset man grabbed a woman and held a knife to a woman's throat.
