Hoax Photos of Air France Last Moments Going Around Web

There are fake photos going around the Internet that are purported to be taken by a passenger on the doomed Air France flight 447. That Airbus 330 plane fell into the Atlantic Ocean on June 1, 2009 while on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Paris. The photos are actually from a trailer for the TV series "Lost" in 2006 (Lost 1, fall season preview), but fakers are sending it around by e-mail with a heart wrenching "report" about how the supposed disaster photos were made. A number of web sites have fallen for the hoax. The two photos attached were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, just after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo, there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tailplane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo, one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole. Touching, but a complete lie. The hoax about the Air France flight actually started as another hoax in 2006, then about the disaster of Gol Airlines Flight 1907 (a Boeing 737) moments after it collided with another plane on Sep. 29, 2006.
