BOMBSHELL - Burris Admits Fundraising for Blago

The Chicago Tribune is reporting now: U.S. Sen. Roland Burris has acknowledged he sought to raise campaign funds for then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich at the request of the governor’s brother at the same time he was making a pitch to be appointed to the Senate seat previously held by President Barack Obama. FULL BOMBSHELL... Even as Democrats and Republicans alike are calling for his head, or a full investigation at least, Burris is touring around Illinois in a mini-Blago-like public relations effort. Unlike Blago, however, Burris is not good on camera. Say what you will about Blago, he's got a presence and can generally hold his own in an interview. Burris, on the other hand, looks like a frightened rabbit. He should be frightened. The hounds are unleashed, and they smell blood. Lying liars. Culture of Corruption. Remember those phrases?
