Obama's Pet Reporters

Friend Warner Todd Huston notes that Barack Obama is cherry picking the journalists that he will allow to ask him tough questions. So much for a promise of transparency, and forget about the incoming Obama Administration being interested in equitable distribution of information. Huston writes: According to Sun-Times columnist and long-time Chicago journalist, Carol Marin, journalists at Barack Obama news conferences have come to realize that Obama has pre-picked those journalists whom he will allow to ask him questions at the conference and many of them now “don’t even bother raising” their hands to be called upon. Huston has more info and remarks about this over here. RELATED: SHUTTING OUT THE MEDIA: PART ONE SHUTTING OUT THE MEDIA: PART TWO SHUTTING OUT THE MEDIA: PART THREE Subscribe to Chicago News Bench
