"Shame on You, Mr. Gorbachev"
Just can't help himself, he can't. Former president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev is blaming the "barbaric assault" of Georgia on Tskhinvali as the reason for Russia's barbaric assault on Georgia.

MEANWHILE, there is this: Russia warns Poland over US missile shield plan (Guardian UK). The US is helping Poland to set up a defensive shield against possible Russian aggression. If Russia has no plans against Poland, then Russia should not be alarmed by this any more than you should be alarmed by your neighbor getting a good alarm system. If and when Russia decides to invade Poland - or Ukraine, or the Czech Republic or any other Eastern European nation - will Gorbachev blame it on some imagined "barbaric assault" by Poland?
