David Herro Still a Hero

Some folks in Rogers Park are calling on Alderman Moore to publicly apologize to local philanthropist and all-around nice guy David Herro. Here is an example of the slander that Moore perpetrated on David Herro. Joe Moore, during a debate on Chicago Tonight, April 2007, said this:. "And why did David Herro donate sixty-thousand dollars to Mr. Gordon? Mr. Herro doesn't have any business interests in the ward, he doesn't live in the ward, and by Mr. Gordon's own admission didn't even know Mr. Gordon before the runoff election." Moore did not mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars given to his own campaign from unions like the SEIU, ACORN and others who do not live in the 49th Ward, nor did he mention the consulting work by the bizarre Washington political hit man Andrew Sharp.
