2431 CAPS facilitator KEVIN O'NEIL, who also publishes
the CTA Tattler, is busy
slandering two local citizen journalists in Rogers Park. O'Neil, who is well known in the 49th Ward as a suck up to Alderman Joe Moore, is
spreading the false rumor that the journalists paid a
chronic drunk to pass out in the strip mall where Moore's ward office is located.
O'Neil is telling the lie to anyone who will listen, say several sources. O'Neil has no proof of this, of course, because it is not true.
The incident of the drunk passing out caused a stir after a video was posted on the web showing paramedics ignoring their patient, then one of them trying to steal a camera by physical force.
WBBM 780 AM reported that the Chicago Fire Department conducted an internal investigation after becoming aware of the video. (See:

So what is Kevin O'Neil's motive for spreading lies?
As a chore boy to the local 49th Ward Democrats, O'Neil is probably following orders from overlords
Moore and David Fagus. Fagus is the 49th Ward Democrat Committeeman, and also the Chief Operating Officer of Cermak Health Services.
Cermak is under federal investigation for violation of prisoners' constitutional rights. Both Fagus and Moore despise the media, with special hatred for the local citizen journalists ("bloggers").
O'Neil is tight with these shady characters and may be trying to curry favor by slandering the citizen journalists. Another possibility is that Moore and/or Fagus told him to do so, and yet another possibility is that Kevin O'Neil is suffering from the early onset of dementia.
