Military Recruiting Goals Surpassed
Hoo-rah! Say, did you know that 90 percent of military personnel graduated high school? That's right, and nationwide the high school graduation rate is something like 70%. In the 50 largest U.S. cities, the graduation rate is only 52%. So, people who join the military seem to be more educated than the average American, contrary to propagandist lies from the Left that insist that one of the few refuges for high school dropouts is the military.
Another lie from the Left that we hear repeatedly: "Military recruiting is way down." Au contraire, Comrade, au contraire.
This bit of news will undoubtedly upset a few Obama supporters:
The Marine Corps far surpassed its recruiting goal last month and could eventually be more than a year ahead of schedule in its plan to grow the force to 202,000 members.
