FLASH: FLORIDA DELEGATES SUING OVER VOTES

"DISENFRANCHISED! DISENFRANCHISED! DISENFRANCHISED!" came the parrot screeches in 2000. The screeches came from Florida, where Democrats claimed that the legal maneuvers that helped put George W. Bush into the White House had "disenfranchised" voters.

Just days before the DNC rules committee meets to take up the issue of what to do about seating the Florida and Michigan delegations, Democrats in Florida have filed suit against the DNC for allegedly violating the Voting Rights Act: (Full Post at Real Clear Politics...)

Man, this is rich. The Democrats are disenfranchising their own, in Florida, Michigan and elsewhere. How ironic that the party that calls itself "Democratic" is so very un-democratic. Hillary Clinton is leading in the popular vote, yet Barack Obama has more delegates pledged to him.

The delegates and Super Delegates, in so many cases, do not care a whit about the people or their votes. One weird example is Senator Robert "KKK" Byrd of West Virginia. A former KKK member, Byrd is a Democrat super delegate and has pledged his support to Barack Obama, despite the fact that Hillary Clinton recently won an overwhelming victory in that state.
