A very non-dramatic fire, fortunately. The Bench was on the scene as relaxed first responders stood by at Adams and Canal in downtown Chicago at noon today. A small fire on a mattress caused minor injuries to two people. The intersection was blocked to vehicular traffic, but pedestrians were allowed to stroll through. Details at the Chicago Tribune.
