Comparing Radical Islam and KKK

Hey, before you get your undies in a bunch, note that this is about radical Islam, not all Islam. Okay, take a deep breath and read this editorial at AgoraVox. Provacatively titled "Want To Compare Radical Islam With The Klan Or The Inquisition? Here Are Some Numbers," it is sure to rankle some of the more "culturally sensitive" among us. Screw cultural sensitivity, I say. I prefer accuracy. "I don’t know how many times I heard or read the moral equivalence bunch," the editorial begins, "when they are confronted with the facts about radical Islamic terrorism, point their fingers and with righteous indignation say, 'Well, what about the inquisition? What about the Klan? See, we’re just as bad!'" FULL EDITORIAL... The piece then presents compelling evidence to the contrary. And by the way, I'm getting tired of people who do not understand that the first Crusade (1099 A.D.) was a response to the Muslim invasion of Jerusalem (638 A.D.), and occurred nearly 400 years after the Muslim conquest of Spain (in 711 A.D.). They're not fighting us because of Israel or because of oil. They've been fighting us for 1,400 years because we are not them.
