Big Erection On Morse Avenue

They're slinging steel at the site of The Morse Theatre, W. Morse and N. Wayne in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Scheduled to open in the summer of 2008, the 300-seat theatre, with a 100-seat restaurant/bar, is being constructed at a steady pace.

This photo was taken on December 4. The view is from front to back, with the stage area all the way in the rear. The venue will primarily feature live jazz, blues and acoustic music.
