Where's The Blue Light Camera?

I was on the Morse Avenue CTA platform two days ago when it hit me: The flashing blue light police camera was gone!

It seems to have been replaced with a different camera, this one without the box with the blue and white CPD checker pattern, and sans blue light.

Question: If somebody is being robbed on the sidewalk in front of Morse Fruit and Vegetables, how does the camer see it? Can the camera see through the trees?
