Here are some photos, including one of former 49th Ward aldermanic candidate Jim Ginderske's truck, which is parked on - you guessed it - Chicago Park District property. After losing the February election, Ginderske became one of Joe Moore's most avid cheerleaders.

A neighbor named Matthew was told by the CPD that this strip was not going to be leased for parking. He was also told that a cease and desist was in the process of being issued against the developer. He reported this in a comment on the Broken Heart blog.
ReplyDeleteConcerned about the damage already done to trees on the site, I called and spoke briefly to the deputy commisioner who said he'd find out who was working on this issue and have them call me back. Haven't heard from anyone yet; giving them the courtesy of a few days to get back to us...
