Evolution of Buddhism

Tibetan Buddhism continues an evolution into popular culture. Marvin Moser is an expert on the subject, and he will deliver a free talk about Buddhism this Thursday. The public is invited and admission is free. The talk will cover some of the fundamental concepts of Tibetan Buddhism, such as the Four Noble Truths, and introduce more advanced topics from Buddhist psychology, meditative practice, organizations and art. There will be an open discussion after the presentation. Marvin Moser has completed the traditional three year retreat under the direction of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, and has taught at Chicago’s Thegsum Choling meditation center for many years.
