Find the rapist or child abductor on your block. The Family Watchdog web site (http://www.familywatchdog.us/Search.asp) is an amazing tool that allows you to zero in on a neighborhood and see graphic displays of sex offenders' addresses. The map shows schools, and breaks down offenses by "Offenses against children," "Rape," "Sexual Battery" and "Other Offense." For each of those categories, the offender's home and work addresses are accessible by clicking on a square on the map. Up pops an offender's photo, criminal recored and other information. It is very easy to use. Warning: If you're the type who scares easily this is not for you. When I searched for zip code 60626, I was shocked by how many offenders there are in Rogers Park, especially those who pray on children. Thanks to CAPS Beat 2411 for the heads up on this.
