A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Common Cup opened today at 6:00 a.m., and wow, what an opening for this quaint coffee shop and Morse Avenue's newest business. Lots of nice customers, good conversation, great coffee. And they sell chocolate covered espresso beans! Ruth and John are great people - more on them in the very near future, but suffice it to say for now that both are very community-oriented and are doing good work for people. For now, here are some photos of the first day of what we all hope will be a long, long run for Common Cup at at 1501 W. Morse Avenue. Oh, by the way, they have wi-fi!

(Now, if they'll just take my advice about putting merchandise behind the counter...)
