"With Frank Kruesi resigning, wouldn't it be interesting to suggest that in place of Ron Huberman, the Mayor nominate Joe Moore as head of the CTA - after all, Joe seemed to think that he could fix the problems with the help of his CTA riding pal Kevin... "

NBC-5 - The president of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) announced his resignation Thursday, amid the start of a massive reconstruction project. Mayor Richard Daley recommended that the CTA board replace Frank Kruesi with Daley's chief of staff, Ron Huberman.

What a great idea! Put Moore in charge of the CTA and show all of Chicago how hard he'll work for them! He's very good at fundraising, and putting in long, thoughtful hours, I suggest we leave Mayor Daley a message on 311. Or get a petition started and delivered.
