Authors, Playwrites to Speak at Ennui Cafe

Ennui Cafe is a bright, comfortable room located at W. Lunt and N. Sheridan in Rogers Park, Chicago just one block west of Lake Michigan. The food and coffee are excellent; I recommend owner Ted's mother's home made Greek pastries and chili. But the room is also great for the entertainment and symposia that are presented with no cover charge.

Local musicians and comedians perform. Slide shows about ancient architecture are shown with expert commentary by the presenter. And there is the Ennui Café Symposia Series, a semi-regular event put on by regular patrons Erik and Lisa.

The next symposium will be on Thursday, April 26 and will feature presentations by local authors and playwrites Nicholas Patricca and Anne McGravie. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Seating is very limited so get there early and enjoy some coffee, one of the great teas and some pastry.

The release below describes the event in detail.
