U.S. Post Office: Shame

For more than a month now, the U. S. Post Office at 7617 N. Paulina in Rogers Park has been flying a badly tattered flag. I wrote about it on January 29. The post office is in a run-down portion of Chicago's 49th Ward in Rogers Park on the southern border of Evanston. Why have the officials at this postal station not replaced this abused flag?     I'll pay for half of a new one if someone else pays for the other half. Any takers?

    Remember, the proper way under the law of disposing of a ruined flag is to burn it. In a respectful manner, of course.
