Ann Coulter's Got Nothing On These Folks

Ann Coulter recently vanquished any doubt as to whether she was a bigot with her "faggot" remark about John Edwards. But Ann Coulter has nothing over these local folks. "Hugh" is a frequent commenter on the "Broken Heart" blog. Here's some poetry that Hugh posted as a comment on BH back on 9/22/06. It relates to the deadly fire in one of slumlord Jay Johnson's buildings at 7706 North Marshfield in Rogers Park. Johnson has contributed thousands of dollars to Alderman Joe Moore's campaign chest. Hugh said... subsidized housing projects need fire occasionally just like forests cleans out the underbrush it's natural 9:12 AM 9/22/06 But Hugh is not the only humanitarian in the hood. "North Coast" (Laura) loves the poor and downtrodden. She wrote the following about landlords who accept welfare recipients trying to get into the mainstream of society through Section 8 housing. Laura apparently believes the majority of Section 8 recipients are druggies and whores. At least, that's my interpretation of saying that accepting Section 8 folks is "pretty much" a guarantee that you'll "attract the wrong elements." Here is Laura's comment, posted on the 24/7 blog site. The all-caps are not mine, they're hers: "Usually, they hang a sign or run an ad that says SECTION 8 WELCOME, which pretty much is guaranteed to attract the wrong elements. "So, yeah, Joe's pet slumlords operate their places in such a fashion that they might as well hang signs up painted in 80-point type that say DRUGGIES AND WHORES WELCOME HERE!! and GANGSTER DISCIPLES NORTHTOWN HEADQUARTERS and GREAT COMMERCIAL LOCATION FOR PHARMEUCETICAL DEALERS." 12:02 PM 2/14/2007 More humanitarians will be highlighted in the future.
